Recevides a Fitbit HR for fathers day 2 years ago. After a year the band started to bubble up. I contacted customer service and after several emails they agreed to replace, after I declined their 25% off offer. Almost to the date, 12 months later the replacement band started to bubble up. They do not offer a repair. They would not replace the second Fitbit. It works but looks like crap. My next fitness tracker will be something else.

Poor Customer Service

They say they have sleep tracking but if they do I get two and a half hours a night. When in fact I get 8 to 9 hours. I have called many times and they have poorly trained people and what they send in an e mail does not work. They have no user guide so you are on your own. It is great for tracking distance and seeing your heart rate but customer service is non existence. They finally sent me a new HR and it did not work. I just got another replacement and the sleep function still does not work and I have to plug the HR into the computer because it will not sync with bluetooth. I recommend not purchasing a Fitbit!

Shipping delay
October 2, 2020

I payed for two day delivery the Fitbit was not delivered for seven days. Customer service refused to reimburse 9.95 I asked to speak to a manager who was not authorized to take it off my charge. So I called corporate they do not answer the phone. Worst customer EVER

Trash. Stay Away. Juan, Roi Von, is it even worth naming the service agents? You will not get a refund. Just stay away from this demonically useless company. It's a criminal organisation just like many others. But $ and corruption is all you need to be a criminal.

Fitbit Versa Lite
September 7, 2020

Terrible product with terrible customer support. My Fitbit stopped tracking my sleep and sending me notifications from my phone 3 months ago. I have contacted customer support 4 times now and still they haven't helped me. They have supposedly escalated my problem to a higher department twice yet I have received to contact from anyone. Stay away from this product.

I would have given my fit bit 2 a five BUT you can stand still, wave the arm your fit bit is on up and down... it will count you arm movements as steps. So how can you trust it? Think... How many time do you move it up and down. Just waving hello.

After owning the Fitbit Versa for almost 5 months I cracked the glass.
Contacted Fitbit and found out that they do not replace the glass.
After paying $200.00 and some Fitbit watches cost more
Would you purchase a product from a company like this?
Biggest mistake that I ever made buying from this? Company.

These watches will basically only last about a year before completely breaking down. Both my wife and I had Fitbits that have stopped working as they should.

What good is this device if it can't read your heart rate? They offered me a 35% discount for a new Fitbit but after this happening again on my 2nd Fitbit Versa 2, I'm out.

While it might cost more, I'm just going to get an Apple Watch as I can easily say those are higher quality.

Run away, it's cheaper for a reason.

Pre-ordered the Charge 3... paid full price. Wouldn't pay $1.00 for one now. Very unreliable, less than 9 months old and it flipflops step numbers all day long. And customer service... forget it. Run fast away from fitbit! Twice yesterday it had these readings: 2:19 13,952,2:27 7006 7:04 28,315 7:05 14,174. And they will do nothing to fix or replace. Lovely

My fitbic Ionic stopped working all together without apparent reasons on its second year anniversary. I just used it for work and not allowed it to get wet eventhough it says water resistant. Customer support offered 25% discount to buy a brand new piece of cr%#*. Please save your money and don't buy this highly disappointing, faulty product.

I spent an hour yesterday and 40 minutes today with customer service trying to trouble shoot why both are not syncing with the app on my phone or my computer. They couldn't figure it out. We tried everything. Bought one in 2015 and one in 2016. It has 1 year warranty. Best they could do is give me a 25% discount if I buy on their website. Really? Buy only if you want to throw your money away on a product that will not last long.

Replacement
August 7, 2020

I've had my Inspire HR for 8 months. It is supposed to be water proof up to 5meters. It was working just fine and one weekend decided to act up and quit all together after swimming. I don't dive deep or swim marathons... I called fit bit the next day. There was barely a wait to talk to someone and the gentleman was extremely helpful. Within a couple minutes he sent me an email and a new fitbit is on it's way! No hastle what so ever. Wish it could get here sooner than a week though, I've become overly fond of my fitbit lol.

Don't waste your money
January 31, 2022

I have owned 3 fitbits, none of them worked consistently and all 3 lasted less than 2 years before becoming completely unusable. The last two that I owned just suddenly stopped being rechargeable. The best that "customer service " can do is offer 35% off on another Fitbit purchase. They could offer 75% off and I wouldn't waste my money on another one. Everyone I know who has purchased a Garmin tracker or watch has been very happy with it. Fitbit has been in business for years and still hasn't figured out how to work out the kinks and offer a better product. To me, this says that they don't care about customer satisfaction.

Fitbit surge
July 21, 2017

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! I purchased this in 2015. They had to replace it due to a software issue. Now the bracelet part just cracked off and it's not tracking properly! I contacted customer service and they refuse to replace it bc it's not under warranty. $250 Watch should have lifetime warranty if it's a manufacturer defect!

I know 2 other people that have the same issue with the bracelets cracking and or breaking off! This company is a joke and I would tell everyone not to purchase a product from them! What company doesn't stand behind their product unless they knowingly sell products that are garbage!

Replacement Disaster!
December 14, 2016

I used to love my fitbit. After only 5 months or so, the press bottom on the side sudenly broke. They "honor" the warranty, by sending me a cheap copy cat of the original fit bit, the band is made of a very stiff plastic, the app can no longer be use with this ridiculous "replacement"... it has been a nightmare!
Customer service is a total failure!
Today, I finally gave up and bought me a GarminHR!

I bought a Fitbit Blaze... cost $200+. It failed 2 months after the warranty ran out (total life span of 14 months). Customer service would do nothing but offer a discount on my next purchase. Incredulously I asked them why they though I would spend $200+ on a crappy product that would last barely a year!? They added 5% to the discount... err no thanks. I have since found this is not a fluke because both my daughter an mother-in-laws Fitbits have failed (13 month and 14 month life span) with the same customer service results. Apparently Fitbits business model involves getting rubes to buy a new device every 18 months. Dont waste your money. I have switched to Garmin... better value with the same features.

I bought a Fitbit versa 4 as an upgrade from my 3, it didn't work, had none of the same features. The shipping took way too long I had 2 day shipping and I didn't get it till a week and a half later. The customer service was horrible, they don't listen or solve problems. They don't do what they say they're going to do. They don't refund when they say they will. I was emailed about getting a credit note and it's been 3 weeks and still nothing. They literally do nothing but lie and not be helpful.

Versa 3 stopped working properly at about 40 days ---A few days past the 30 day return window. Because product purchased thru an amazon reseller the one year warranty offered by fitbit was not honored by fitbit.
The consumer should be aware that manufacturer warranties may not be honored if bought thru amazon.

Don't waste your money
February 26, 2023

2 Fitbit charge 5 's in less than 2 years. The first one it was about 3 months in and the heart rate exercise tracking was way off like 190-200 bpm while I was just warming up. After jumping through hoops for 3 weeks with tech support they sent me a new face. That one worked until it didn't, just a few weeks shy of a year. The screen went black after I updated the software and synced it to my new phone.
I contacted support, we tried some resetting etc. to no avail. They sent me an email with no explanation as to why my 11 month old device stopped working. The just said it was out of warranty and sent me a 35% off coupon...read the room Fitbit.your devices are substandard and I'm not buying another just because you gave me a coupon. I will never buy anything from Fitbit again, I've also contacted everyone I recommended Fitbit to. Just get a cheap one from Amazon or spring for an oura ring which I have and love.

Product warranty warning
January 18, 2022

After 6 year of purchasing Fitbits top of the line product. I had to use the warranty of my Fitbit Ionic that I bought 4 months ago. I submitted all the information that Fitbit asked for. Later that day I received an email that they sent out a Versa 3 as the replacement. The Ionic valued at $300 and the Versa 3 values at $229. Their response is that the Ionic is discontinued and the Versa has more functions. I don't understand how a company feels that they can send you a lower valued product as a warranty item. I have been trying to get an equal valued item for the last week. Every time I call, they tell me I will get an email within 24 hours. I just want people to know how their warranty works prior to you making the same mistake I did by purchasing their products.
