THE WORST EVER

These bastards took $700 dollars out of my account at one time for a credit card I was paying payments on years after the account was already closed. If you ever have the opportunity to establish credit with them don't do it. They will hond you down for $1. They do not handle your account well and they have poor customer service. I was not made aware until the day of about the garnishments they were going to be proceeding with and I feel robbed.

Quality is awful

FH used to be a good company with quality things. I just got sneakers that were supposed to be wide. They're so small I can't get my feet in them and I got a size larger. I got a mattress topper. Two of the straps tore before I even slept on it. One strap tore completely.

HEADACHES

I returned a generator that looked like it was pushed from the back of a truck to the side of my house. The generator was cracked so I returned it. I called to make sure they returned it which they did. After that, all I wanted to know is when a new 1 will be mailed out. The woman on the phone couldn't tell me unless I verified my info AGAIN. I gave her my last 4, DOB, address and phone number but that was not enough. She needed more. By this point, I was fed up! On top of that, I had a hard time understanding her. I told her to just credit the account and CLICK. If I have to go through all that, then I'll pass...

High risk. They are what they are.

My entire bill is almost paid off and for good reason. Recently, I considered buying some beats headphones from them until I compared the prices on apple ($199) and amazon ($149). It's outrageous to charge $450 for the same headphones and they really need to knock that off. Two stars, because while I have received orders in the past (the shipping has been astronomically painful) they did arrive on time. Three knocked off because beats headphones are not that expensive in reality.

Do comparison shopping before you buy from them and look at the figure below where it says "month". Something that's $450 will be tacked on as $38.99 to your bill.

Money Thieves

Will overcharge if you missed a payment the same day. When you call them they say one thing and do another. Balance was 77 dollars then the day of payment it went up to 159 dollars.

I was told my delivery would be at my address on 12/14/21 it has been a week without any calls or texts keeping me up to date! I've also lost $120 dollars on movers because Fingerhut says the delivery team will only drop it off on curbside. My card has been charged for payments for a delivery that I don't have!. FINGER HUT SHOULD NOT OFFER ITEMS THAT CANT BE DELIVERED ON TIME PERIOD REGARDLESS OF HOW LARGE THE ITEMS ARE YOU SHOULD NOT ADVERTISE PRODUCTS THAT YOU CANT DELIVER ITS ALREADY A HASTLE THAT YOU DONT OFFER MOVE IN SERVICES AND NOW Too! YOU CANT EVEN MAKE THE ACTUAL DELIVERY! Lol this is really nice for customer service

Missing Item

I have ordered about 4 wrist watches from Fingerhut within one month. This particular wrist watch indicated it has been delivered, I checked my surroundings and still did not find my wrist watch. I sent and email and whoever is replying keeps saying that my order was delivered. I did not receive it.
I'm going to close my Fingerhut account because I feel betrayed, disappointed and disrespected.

Disappointed

I has several cameras that I ordered from this company They were delivered in a empty package they wanted me to give a police report which I did the the package Was delivered by UPS And when it arrived it was completely empty I immediately called Fingerhut, I did the police report, called UPS and a month later I received out 2 of the ring stick up camers out of 3. I called and called always getting the run around. Told me I would it 2 months ago and STILL have not got my 3rd camera

Completely incompetent

They're completely incompetent they sent you other people's orders instead of what you ordered then when you return it they make a brand new order form and resend you the item that you didn't order takes more than five times for them to get it right and give you the credit for the items you didn't receive originally I would never deal with them again

LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER

I moved, changed all my info online and they locked my account and asked for a copy of my ssn card emailed to them plus license and utility bill before they'd unlock my account. Right as Christmas shopping begins. Been with them 3 years, loyal customer with high credit. No way on this planet will I ever email my SSN card to anyone. I'll be closing this account ASAP. It's crap.

DON'T use this company. They charge way more than other companies for the same merchandise. They charge huge finance charges and to add insult to injury, they sneek in extra charges. I have made all my payments on time. Last month I signed up for auto pay so I don't have to remember what to pay or when.
It said my minimum payment would be $40 so that is what it took from my account. Then at the end of the month when my statement was generated it said I was supposed to have paid $59 and added a late fee for this. I called and after over 2 hours on the phone they reversed the $29 fee (as a courtesy) how is it a courtesy if it was their error. The only thing worse than their representative use on English was their ability to add or subtract. I will never use them again for anything. If you choose to use them, do so at your own risk and watch what they charge you. Not worth the trouble for the little good it can do for your credit rating.

I applied for credit about 6 or 7 months ago and never used it. Got alerted today that my credit now has a note on it. Fingerhut will ding your credit if you do not make a purchase from them. That is without a doubt the most scummy company practice I've seen in awhile. Basically extortion. Total waste of a company. Made a call to corporate and the person said basically "should have bought something" and said it's not their problem. Guess lesson learned

Had a credit account with this terrible excuse for a company just to build credit. They make you buy items to keep your credit limit or they take the limit away. I had a security breach were I needed to change debt cards so 1 payment was not being processed. They immediately put a 30day late on my credit for a 22 dollar payment. Never called to let me know. Not email or anything. They are refusing to take it off. They charge outrageous amounts for common times. I bought a watch that broke in a week for 270. Was online for 68 bucks new. Got ripped and credit screwed. THIS COMPANY PRAYS ON PEOPLE with less then great credit. Do yourself a big favor and stay away.

Complete joke

I have had an account with Fingerhut for over 6mo. I just recently moved and changed my address. I ordered 2 things, a stereo and a rug. They shipped the stereo, then decided to 'verify' my address change. You think that would be simple right? Wrong. They asked a series of questions, yet came back and said they were unable to verify my identity and the new address. They said I had to send in a copy of my license, social security card, and a bill with the new address. Being so new to the house, I don't even have a bill yet, nor do I have my stuff from the movers yet. The only thing I have is my license which isn't even changed yet. How stupid! Why can I not verify everything on my account... it's my account! AND... they already shipped the stereo! They lost me to Wayfair... Goodbye Fingerhut!

Ordered a swing set in April 2021 it was delivered over 30 days past original shipping date Finally receive the set and all the screws and leg covers ARE MISSING WE REACHED OUT TO FINGER HUT SINCE TO TRY AND GET REPLACEMENT PARTS>>>ITS NOW JULY 7,2021 AND STILL NO REPLACEMENT PARTS WE HAVE BEEN TOLD ON 5 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THEY WERE BEING SENT AND NOTHING WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN FINGER HUT AND WILL NO LONGER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM DUE TO THE DISREGARD OF SETTLING OUR ISSUES I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT WITH FINGER HUT AND DON"T RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY THAT LACKS PROFESSIONALISM AND DISREGARD THEIR CUSTOMERS! Fingerhut credit is very cruel. I've been a loyal customer for about 4 years. I never missed a payment and a payment was never late on my account. Like a lot of people during the pandemic I fell on hard times. I missed a few payments. But I was contacted later and was told that if I paid $150 for 3 consecutive months it would get my account back on track. Well I did that only to bet told that I would not ever have an available credit line on my account. And would have to pay off the remaining balance. Once the remaining balance was paid I would have to close the account. Wait seven days and apply for a new credit account and there was no guarantee that I would be excepted.

Now if this is how Fingerhut treats loyal customers who suffered through a pandemic. Why would I reapply for another credit account once this one is paid off? Hell I'm sorry I ever became a customer in the first place! But I won't ever make that mistake again. And if you're smart you won't either. There policies and customer loyalty is horrible and so is their customer service.

Worst Company ever

The worst company ever. My first Purchase I received they sent the wrong item. Customer service was no help making me wait 7-10 Business days to receive a return slip the it will take up to 15 days to process the return before another up to 15 days to receive the Item I really ordered. And expecting me to make payments on it during this time and I wont want or need it by then. The I'll probably have to wait another 10 days for my refund

The shipping was too high but since I wanted expedited anyway I paid second day air so the shipping didn't bother me too much on that particular purchase. However I see decent competitive prices on merchandise but I'm not about to pay five times more in shipping to get it. Sorry Fingerhut offer some shipping discounts. Thanks

FRAUD
January 28, 2021

Never heard of this company, but it came up on a credit report as delinquent. Called the company. Someone opened an account with our name and purchased knives that were shipped to another state. We were never sent a bill at our address. We never would have known until we saw the credit report, and the company refuses to fix it.
Never heard of them prior to this incident. Never ordered anything, never received anything... yet are STILL being negatively impacted by them.
Reported to Police today and will send to Division of Consumer Affairs.
Fingerhuy sent back 2 separate form letters basically telling us it was our problem, and to pay the bill.
Outrageous.
