I have had an account with Fingerhut for over 6mo. I just recently moved and changed my address. I ordered 2 things, a stereo and a rug. They shipped the stereo, then decided to 'verify' my address change. You think that would be simple right? Wrong. They asked a series of questions, yet came back and said they were unable to verify my identity and the new address. They said I had to send in a copy of my license, social security card, and a bill with the new address. Being so new to the house, I don't even have a bill yet, nor do I have my stuff from the movers yet. The only thing I have is my license which isn't even changed yet. How stupid! Why can I not verify everything on my account... it's my account! AND... they already shipped the stereo! They lost me to Wayfair... Goodbye Fingerhut!
