They false advertise, they charge you triple the price for items. You would be better to rent from a rental company. They are the oldest and highest interest rate company in existence. Stay Away!

Fingerhut has helped me rebuild my credit as I started out with a six month trial and they gave me a $200 credit line which allowed me to shop and as long as I made my payments on time they graduated me after 6 months of on time payments and gave me a credit line and increased my credit line as I started off with $200 in credit I now have $900 in credit and every time I make a payment on time it is reported as positive to my credit bureau and this has been great since my credit is improving because of Fingerhut. As long as you make your payments on time just like any other bill you would pay you to can increase your credit score. I enjoy shopping with Fingerhut and I give them a 5 star rating as a very good company to help you establish a good credit standing and not a lot of companies do what this company does and also provide excellent customer service and I will continue doing business with them. Thank you FINGERHUT! Sincerely, James P Pennington. A Happy Customer

Write your review to help others learn about this online businessFingerhut LIED on a CHRISTMAS GIFT

So it seems that Fingerhut has some REALLY bad customer service. Here is the scenario. On December 6 I ordered 2 watches for a couple of Kids Christmas Presents. They only shipped ONE of them. The same day that it got here December 15th I called and was told that they would be shipped and arrive by the 24th. Short notice but hey it was BEFORE Christmas. It NEVER SHOWED UP but they did send me a return authorization. REALLY? OOOO not good folks. So fast forward to NOW. I have been on the phone with them for TWO HOURS and on hold for AN HOUR AND A HALF of that. Bull Crap. If thats not enough they told me that the guy that said it was going to be shipped on the 15th LIED because it was out of stock. Fingerhut WTH is your problem. Now they are saying that the one watch needs to be returned? Needless to say i am PISSED! Fingerhut YOUR FIRED after YEARS of great service. You dont LIE to me.

Fingerhut sells the same item from the manufacturer for more then the manufacturer sells it for. Fingerhut is bad to do business with. They over charged me on a pair of Dan post boots by 75.00 dollars plus another 20.00 dollars for shipping. Since finger hut is the middle man. They jack the item original price to almost another 100.09 dollars more. Very very bad to do business with Fingerhut because they over charge you for what it sells for on the manufacturer 's web site. I feel ripped off. Be careful doing business with fingerhut. They will ripp you of. Unfortunately

The main problem I have with fingerhut, I have many but just to start with, is the fact that they over price items. Majorly over price items. For example, I am a HUGE makeup Fanatic and they had a E. LF. Palette, one of the 100 pan palettes, and I had some credit on my new card so thought I'd get it, I got it, took a while to arrive at my house but did come when expected.
The problem I have is that the palette was $40.00 dollars on their website, when I went to E. LF. Website a couple months later, I didn't think about looking it up at the time lol go figure, and the price for the exact same palette was $10.00 dollars!
I was furious! How dare they?
I, at first, thought it was wonderful they gave me my first credit card! Where I had never had credit before it was hard to get credit from any company and how was I going to build credit that way? Right? If I knew that the rate I was paying was so outrageous I wouldn't have fooled with it. But like many young girls starting out I was just excited, back then, at receiving my very first credit limit and wasn't thinking about anything else. This website over charges the whole way around.
Items are overpriced, credit rate is RIDICULOUS, and quiet frankly they don't even carry much of anything worth having. I do not recommend this site to anyone!

This site sells about everything: including bed and bath, kitchen, furniture, electronics, and clothing. I ordered from this site once and never will again. The items were not what I expected. They were not well made, and they looked horrific.

A few years back I purchased several different items from Fingerhut. Night gowns, bath towels and dishes. Fingerhut allows you to buy things from them and make payments if you need to depending on the size of the order. Well it sounded all good until you get the merchandise. The order arrived very fast, hassle free. I will never forget what I thought when I saw the items. I wish Fingerhut could have seen the look on my face when I saw there merchandise. I will never forget thinking to myself, wow where did they get this stuff out of a cracker jack box? The night gowns where so thin that you could see right through them. Although my boyfriend loved them. The only thing I might use them for was a scrub rag. The dishes where so cheap that I wound up using them for outside when I have friends over to go swimming and cook out. Chinett paper plates where more sturdy. The bath towels where so flimsy and cheap with one washing they looked like the where years old. They faded and frayed. I did turn them into scrub rags for my car. I never sent the order back because it was more of a hassle than to just eat it. I wound up making payment for over 6 months to pay it off. I sent them about 12.00 per month. I will never order from this second hand bargain store again. I hope this review will help others not to get roped into this Fingerhut fiasco. http://www.fingerhut.com
