I ordered a series of novels off of Amazon but they were stolen by the FedEx delivery driver. I literally have it on my security cameras; The FedEx truck drives passed my house twice then right after the truck disappears for the second time, the package is marked delivered "to the front door"... Except it's not. The truck didn't stop, the driver didn't get out, and my front door is just as empty today as it was last week when FedEx said my package delivered.
I call support every other day and they say the exact same thing every time, "We're investigating it" as if it takes a whole week to just ask the delivery driver where my package is. I'm lucky that Amazon-- unlike FedEx-- isn't trash; I told Amazon support about this and sent them the footage and in the same day of emailing them, I already have a response that they're sending a replacement package free-of-charge.
I tried to upload the actual video footage from my security cameras but this site doesn't allow video for some reason. I would link screenshots of emails and text messages from FedEx about the investigation and what not-- but I don't have any.
Edit: After signing up for the site, the option to add a video appeared so the security camera footage is live now.
I called several times FedEx asking about my stolen items but with no response. They said they will investigate and call me back but with no response for more than one month.
I paid my duties and taxes online as requested 2 days before delivery. Delivery woman came but would not leave the package saying it was not paid. I ordered packages from Amazon and FedEx refused to deliver them. Then told me I had to contact the shipper the shipper then directed me back over to FedEx and they told me they could not deliver down my Rd because part of it is dirt. I have pictures showing they do in fact come to my neighborhood. They have been giving me the run around for the last 7 days and now my package is scheduled to be sent back to the shipper tomorrow and I can't pick it up all because they don't wanna do their jobs right! I called the shipper back and they said they can no longer see the package or tracking number! I called Amazon and they said FedEx has it to contact them well FedEx is not helping me at all! They are pore they don't care about helping their customers.the worst customer service I've ever seen in the 18 years of being in customer service! I do not recommend them at all! Do not use FedEx for nothing. Go to UPS they are the good ones!
Waited all day to sign for a package. At 7pm I was advised that I would not receive my package. They don't know when they'll deliver. This is the second time they pull this on me. Waiting all day because I have to sign. Sorry service
If I could give zero starts, I would. I ordered a bike for my child and was given a delivery date. They then changed it to the day after. Not a big deal. I get up on delivery day and check the tracker. My package is less than an hour from my home! Yay! Then I get off work expecting the package to be waiting for me. Not. It wasn't there of course. For reference, I live in Southern Kentucky. I check the tracker and they have shipped my package from being in Nashville, TN- an hour away from my home- to being over 9 hours away in Portland, NY. This was at 5 pm and expected delivery time was by 8:00 pm. I called FedEx to find out what in the world was going on and they tell me that since it's still within my expected delivery time, they can't do anything and I would have to call back. I was also told they didn't even know WHERE my package was and I would have to wait until the next destination scan to find it. Great. So I get up the next day to see where they've decided to send it this time and find that it's in Kansas City, MO! 13 hours away! In the WRONG DIRECTION! To top it off, there is absolutely NO expected delivery date on my package now and absolutely no one can give me a concrete answer on where it is or when it will be here! Get your lives together FedEx. This is LITERALLY your job!
I wish vendors would let the consumer choose who will deliver their items. If they did I would not choose FedEx. They usually are late and more often than not the box comes busted and the item is damaged or missing parts. They are truly awful.
The only reason they have a 1 is because I can't put a zero. No customer service help, packages that are "overnighted" take at minimum a weeks time. It also doesn't help when it is a package you actually need the next day. Overall I detest working with FedEx and I would not recommend to anyone. Go with UPS!
I ordered an item that was shipped more that a month ago and still have not received it. It has been sitting at the St. Louis location for weeks and yet I see fedex trucks in my neighborhood almost every day.
Poor service, bad timing, I ordered a package from my workshop for my clients, it said 2 working days which ended up 5 working days, cost me to miss my flight to wait for my important package to arrive, cost me to lose my clients because the order did not make it on time.

I purchased furniture at Wayfair which was going to be delivered by Fedex. I asked for it to be delivered on a certain date because I was not going to be at the home before then. I was told the order needed to be placed and hen call Fedex to change the delivery date. It took me an hour to do so, and had to ask for a supervisor. Guess what, it was delivered before that date and it was left in the rain. I called to hhave it picked up and kept on hold but I could not get through to anyone. How much worse can it get?

Looking at the overall score/rating of FedEx it looks like a lot of people have had similar experiences. My situation is I run a nonprofit where we ship international packages across the globe. The company we work with to help with the labels has a partnership with FedEx. I've had MANY difficulties working with them.
The most recent experience was I received a call from saying that they were going to return or destroy one of the packages that was being sent to a children's hospital overseas. During the voicemail they left a tracking number. I called FedEx back and fought my way through the automated responses to finally speak to someone then was transferred to the global department. When I provided them the tracking number they told me it was the wrong number so they couldn't help me.
Someone in the system had my phone number in their so they could call me and tell me there was an issue with a package, but somehow they were unable to find my information without a tracking number. Since we ship multiple packages a month to global nonprofits and there was no detail about which country it was coming from our package that was sent to a children's hospital may be destroyed.

I ask so why is the "proof of delivery" document you sent me blank? (gives no address where it went or person it was delivered to) "Oh the driver "forgot" to scan the box when they took it out of the truck" (so there's no proof of delivery (UPS store never got any package for me that whole week) Day 14-15-16-17-18-19 "Maybe they delivered it to the wrong address" "We don't know yet need more info" "We have a case opened on it I'll call you tomorrow" (Never get a call) "I was out of the office but we are asking about this here's my direct # to call me" (direct number is not to the person I was speaking with" "Well we're sorry about this, maybe the driver left it at the wrong address (back to day 14) Fast Forward to Day 31 I have a dispute in for the charge and my CC says will get the charge removed, they are investigating. End result: Don't ever use FedEx it's just not worth it period.
Lack of communication, inaccurate information, horrible customer service. I have had bad experiences with them before, but this is just disrespectful. My package is a day late, I called to coordinate a pick up, since there was no sings of it arriving any time soon. They told me to call in an hour because it wasn't available for pick up yet. I called 45 minutes after and they tell me it's already in transit to it's final destination. I asked if there was any way to contact the driver before he left, since I can see online it's not yet "out for delivery" and the answers with, "not possible at this moment"… Still waiting for my package.

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
