DO NOT order from this site. I ordered some stuff from the "Rotita" site and all went well. This site looked like the same outfit, just a different name. After over a month, I've been trying to track y shipments and asking where the f*** my order is, I get this message telling me that I didn't choose insurance, for $2.36. I was never give the option and I am extremely pissed.
I ordered for the first time 3 items from fashion Mia to try their service in order to do business with them for my shop in the future and thanks g-d i didn't ordered more, I think i am going to have the same experience as others, I am sorry I didn't read the reviews before hand. I didn't receive anything yet from them after a while, they keep on saying the same thing as others.it is a scheme and it shall be published in mass media etc. I will wait little longer and i will do so. Running out of time, as they have a 30-day window, from receipt of dress. Filled out online return form twice, filled out online dispute form, e-mailed customer service, called and left message (does anyone talk to a real person there?). Too bad I didn't do research and read reviews before ordering. I was also stupid enough to place a 2nd order, before receiving the 1st one. Haven't received it and it's been almost a month. E-mailed customer service to say don't bother send it (I wouldn't receive it in time for event) - but never heard from them. I guess I'll have to take this up with Paypal. ARGH!

I ordered 6 dresses 3 months ago and I still missing part of my order. The dresses I already received have terrible quality and wrong size. They took forever to ship my order, first because of the Chinese new year Holidays. Also, I got 2 email asking me for extra shipping payment. One dress was out stock and they give me credit at their site, I select new dresses them after 2 weeks they told me that one dress was out stock, Again! I still missing 2 dresses and a hair accessory, 2 days ago they contacted me and told me that they shipped one dress and my hair accessory, but I cannot track the shipment, FashionMia said "Please do not worry and wait patiently" How much patient I need? I placed 2 orders 2 months ago from FashionMia, I never got the items and when I asked for the status of my order they said one was cancelled and the other one was out of stock, then I asked to have my money back because I didn't want to have them anymore, no response! No money back and no returns! They stopped answering my mails when I insisted to have my refund.

FashionMia promised to ship in 3-7 days; and then it asked another 9 days to ship my purchase. I cancelled the order. It took 2 days to adjust my account of FashionMia. Then it stated 20-25 business days is needed to receive my refund.
I disagreed for the long waiting period but the lady behind the email gave me same statement every time. When I asked to escalate to her manager, she didn't bother to retype her email but forward me her previous email.

I finally received one of the two dresses Ive been waiting to receive for nearly a month & a half. Paid total of $74+ (US currency) for these dresses. The one I received is a black & white block maxi dress. I am a misses size 12, but ordered XL to insure a good fit - I cant even zip up the dress! Its soooo small! In the FashionMia online picture the model is wearing a dress made with a sweeping, flowing chiffon material. What I received looks like the material used in childrens Halloween costumes! I can only imagine what the knit dress I havent received yet is going to look like horrible!
Im not going through the hassle of returning these items they will be hung in my closet to remind me NEVER TO TRUST THIS WEBSITE AGAIN, no matter how good the pictures look! I will also show these dresses to my relatives, friends & acquaintances as evidence of this fraud.
I do regret that I havent found a legitimate website that delivers in a timely fashion, well-made, quality clothing like those pictured by FashionMia many of the fashions they show LOOK very nice, but dont be fooled! I bought two garments from Fashionmia but never received a confirmation email. Three weeks later I was therefore pleasantly surprised to receivea package from China containing one of the garments - until I opened it. The flowing, layered, below the knee dress in the sales image had been translated into a skimpy mini that would not fit anyone larger than an 8 year old. Fashionmia's returns webpage does not allow the jpg to load so the complaint cannot be sent. I did eventually establish email contact and successfully cancelled the other garment. I was assured the £28 cost had been repaid to my Paypal wallet but it never arrived. I was given an address in US to return the garment - why America and not China - don't ask. The cost of postage with tracking would have been £15 for a garment that cost £22 plus postage so I just got proof of posting. I gave them a month to pay before tackling the equally complex Paypal dispute process. Without a tracking number Paypal closed the case so I am £57.93 out of pocket. How does Paypal expect me to return a garment I never received and have an email confirmation that the cancellation was accepted? Next time I shall use Amazon, whose compensation policy is scrupulously fair. There is no fairness in the Paypal system and Fashionmia have been allowed to get away with theft.

I've had the same experience that others have had. Order something, not at all what it looked like online, doesn't fit, fabric different. No customer service, hard to get refund, etc. Always search for reviews on companies you have never dealt with before. That will be your first clue about the companies reputation. Keep all your receipts and when you make a return pay the extra for tracking or return receipt. Don't wait too long to be refunded, two weeks at most. Then contact your credit card company. You can FAX your documentation to them. If your credit card company does not assist you, cancel your card and find one that will represent you for future purchases. My credit card company helped me get a full refund. Please note: Many of the positive reviews, I believe, have been written by the company. After too many negative reviews these companies shut down and reopen under another name. When they respond with an apologetic email, it is insincere - they just want you and others to think they care. And finally, look closely at the ads - if you cannot see the face of the model. Or if the model is wearing sunglasses - that is a clue that the company is most likely based in Asia. Stick with companies that have good reviews or are known to you. Good Luck.

Answer: Yes. This Company and their "products" are in China. The shipping cost to return merchandise is the purchaser's responsibility and is often equal to the cost of what your purchased. I chose to take a $15.00 refund instead of Paying full postage to return the merchandise in order to get a refund. In order words it would have cost me $30 to receive of refund of $30.
