Website said would take 3 - 5 weeks
Every week a different excuse or a change in tracking number as to why not received
Lodged a complaint with Paypal and the items magically turned up 10 days later via air mail (late October 2018)
The garments were not acceptable so I contacted for a refund and was told no refund until I closed my complaint with Paypal.
Closed my complaint and sent back items (note that it cost approx. $35 to return items to China.
Checked tracking and they received garments 11 November
Then came further excuses including:-
* cant do refund as no longer use Paypal payment channel - lie
* wont do refund until Paypal case closed - closed before items returned
* haven't received returned items - tracking proves otherwise
Latest excuse is finance dept wants to do all refunds together at the end of January
Do not order anything from this website - they are a joke
Their latest email today states the refund will take another 25 - 30 days
Below is some if the email ping pong and excuses they use:-

The order was done 18 June 2018 which took over 4 months to get to me (your website indicated 3 5 weeks). Then I send the unacceptable items back which you received in November 2018. Then came all the excuses like haven't received the returned items (tracking showed otherwise), can't refund via the payment method (I paid through Paypal, which your website still supports) so you will give me credit voucher (NO, I will never buy from you again) and now you ask me to wait until the end of January for the refund because the financial department wants to do them all together at the end of January?

What sort of game are you playing with people's money. What is the next excuse you will come up with?
I want compensation. I want the full amount I paid back ie AUD $80.00. Via Paypal IMMEDIATELY I think that is fair. I will still be out of pocket by the postage amount I paid to return unacceptable items to you.
Remedy this immediately or I will seek a refund through my financial institution and they will recover the AUD $80.00 entire payment

I have checked my emails and telling me that because i paid for the order more than y months aho essentially means a longer processing time as uou cant refund via my payment method of Paypal IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. SEND MY REFUND NOW!
I ordered from sitejabber May 2018 I got like three of my items and it's almost made 2019 and I haven't gotten the remaining five items that I paid for it they owe me about $89 and I've gotten nothing saying I'm going to get a refund don't waste your time on your energy it is a scam all of the reviews that people are putting up saying that they are a wonderful website is reviews from the people that work there no customers writing good reviews about this website it's only the people that work there because they think that they're slick and they think that they have good propaganda so I can make them look like they are not scamming people they are scamming people the 42% off at the scam because they're saying that your stuff will get hair to your to the location to his destination in 7 business days and it's not coming from month 2 months 3 months for months and you're wondering where is it it's been almost a year for me it's going to be May 2019 soon and I have not received my eyes so it's almost a year do not waste your time do not waste your energy they will give you silly excuses they were trying to do back and forth with you through emails and they'll never be resolution save your money keep your money the website is a scam do not believe the reviews that are saying it's a good website trust me it is a scam cuz it's ridiculous how it's almost been a year and I have not received my items do not waste your time please don't waste your money and go spend your money if you want to buy clothes goes on your money where they actually have good quality clothes wear the clothes actually look like what they look like in the picture in real life because these clothes don't so I should go spend your money where it's worthwhile where you actually get your stuff in a timely manner and where they will ship it to you in enough time and you actually get it in 7 business days don't waste your time you can get better looking clothes for cheaper actually the website so go there
I'm writing these updates mostly so everyone who reads them can understand exactly what goes does when dealing with this nightmare-ish company, but also because this is the ONLY way I feel like I can get any sort of response out of FashionMia. With every update on my negative reviews, I seem to get someone else trying to do something with me 24-48 hours later. And so I continue to hope that SOMETHING can come from this.
Last review was 6/17, when I was still fighting with them over the shipping charges that they flatly refused to remove. They even went as far as claiming that the person who originally promised the free shipping denied ever making that offer, and I had to send multiple screenshots of the very email from months prior as proof. This had gone on since April 27th, when I finally was given the instructions to place my replacement order and after enduring literal MONTHS of back and forth emails going around in circles of FashionMia offering my credit but always stopping short of completing their final promise of free freight.
After that last update and my subsequent emails PROVING I had been legitimately offered free freight, I had FINALLY gotten a response saying that someone had taken care of the freight and that the only thing I needed to do was click the button to officially send in the order. There was a brief error, but I actually got relatively quick response and it had gone through into "processing", which per the website, would take between 3-5 business days. The order went into processing June 27th.
I bet you can't guess what happened next...
Here it is now, July 12, more than two weeks after the order began "processing" with no change in status. I sent an email a few days ago asking that someone look into this and get this pushed through quickly, but with no response.
As a reminder, all of this started because I placed an order ON DECEMBER 1 2017, one that I immediately second guessed and tried to cancel and get a refund mere hours later. I am now going into my EIGHTH MONTH since this mess began, with no money refunded and no replacement product - just somewhere in the vicinity of 60+ emails, a lot of false promises, and absolutely no customer satisfaction to be found.
Is it any wonder that most of FashionMia's reviews on just about every consumer reporting website available are all 1 star? This level of "service" is just inexcusable. I am tired and frustrated and cannot believe how so simple a problem can be dragged on THIS LONG with so little to show for it.
I just want my stupid stuff and to be done with this company for good.
Hello everyone, just to update you again on my continuous struggle with fashionmia. After my post on 6/28/18, <*******@orderplus.com> finally emails me on 6/27/18 with coupon code to recover my 58 USD for items that were never delivered. So I am relieved that at least I can now recover my 58 usd after 5 months of placing the initial order.
But to my surprise again, I am set back because I cannot place new order without having to pay for shipping of those items. I sent them a mail on 6/29/18 to let them know about the issue that i should not be responsible for shipping but as usual no one has replied even till now.
Now everyone can see that this is totally unacceptable for you to place orders since January, endlessly wait for the items, mail them, they don't respond/ignore mails, respond to me when they feel like, then finally respond giving my money back in form of a coupon and they expect me to pay for shipping which I had initially qualified for free shipping.
This is so bad because this is already Six whole months! And this company doesn't think I deserve a compensation for not delivering service to me; worse they expect me to pay for shipping. This is wicked but I am willing to go the whole nine yards with fashionmia. I wont give up

I wrote the following to FashionMia yesterday which sums up the issues that I and many others have had according to the majority of reviews. I still haven't received a refund and my next step will be the Financial Ombudsman:-
"To Customer Care
I am trying one last time before I add my review to the FashionMia website.
My order was placed on the 22nd February, four items. It took about five weeks to arrive though my bank account was debited on the 23rd February, £70.13.
On 2nd April I completed the on line information requested by the company in order to acquire a "return ticket", waited the 36 hours and nothing happened. I advised I wanted to return three items, the photograph of which I'd uploaded.
On 6th April I e mailed again asking for the UK return address, nothing so at 13.47 I returned the package containing the three items I wished to return, via the post office with a covering letter to the UK address which had been on the front of the delivery parcel in very small print, the postcode was UB39RE which is on my proof of postage.
There were other communications which provided no response and on the 14th May I emailed again via the website asking why no reply to my contacts and no refund for the three items advising I would give it another seven days before taking it further. That is why I advise this is my last attempt.
I know that the information got through to the company because on the 15 th May I received an e mail advising that my package was ready to be sent but that I needed to pay "package insurance" to which I replied stating how absurd and totally inefficient that response was. I wasn't waiting for a package so I was being asked for money illegally!
So my last e mail was four days ago, no reply.
If I do not receive a satisfactory reply to this by tomorrow afternoon I will copy this letter to the FashionMia review site in order potential customers can be forewarned on the level of customer service they may expect.

IF you guys would actually read the details of customers' messages---rather than send generic ones loaded with the typical BS---you would realize that I DID read your previous e-mail (that I even mentioned in various reviews on major sites), and most of it was full of the usual, sad excuses.

My previous, negative review for fraudulent FashionMia is titled, Let's Respect & Love Self, KNOW Our Divine Worth, & Realize We Deserve MUCH Better." I posted this same review for practically every FashionMia VIDEO that I could find (THEY BLOCKED MY REVIEWS ON YOUTUBE).
I made it my mission to further spread the truth because WAY TOO MANY people throughout the world have been screwed over by them; and if I can contribute in any way, FashionMia WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THEIR ONGOING SCAMS.
Their corrupt ways ultimately stem from their closed minds and hearts, so they are unable to to sympathize (with their logical minds), let alone deeply empathize (with their integrated Mind/Heart) the injustice, shock, frustrations, betrayal, pain, anger, rage, sadness, depression, and/or apathy that interconnected others feel.
However COMMA I trust that their moment of truth will come in Divine perfect timing and order.
FashionMia will eventually learn---apparently the hard way rather than the easy way---that how they mistreat others will, WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, circle back to them.

I have attached few photos for you to show you that the clothes were an absolute RUBBISH! I actually threw them into the rubbish bin as they were not suitable for even a donation or for a cleaning cloth due to the high amount of polyester! I tried BOOHOO and ASOS before and in comparison, FASHIONMIA is substantially worse quality, the clothes are not wearable!... You know, how you can go to a dollar shop and buy a Halloween or Santa costume that you will only wear once because it's not made out of a proper fabric but material like paper that you can rip in your hands? That's what the clothes were made of, nothing like in the pictures! I have no doubt that FashionMia is purposely and knowingly stealing from people, they invest a lot into marketing and make money on customers that use them only once. The sawing was also faulty, as the part of the inside seam was on the outside with ripped material on the edges!
Naturally, I requested a full refund and I was bluntly refused. They expect you to spend 50% of the value of the clothes on specific postage, they impose unreasonable conditions like they want the post to be registered and you to pay for tracking number and the packaging needs to be intact and returned in 30 days that is a joke considering that I waited for my items three months!... or to give an illusion of options they say that they can offer you a small fraction of the total cost back but only in vouchers so you 'can' buy more rubbish clothes from them - this is an example of a dodgy fettering 'refund' policy designed to steal from customers!
FASHIONMIA IS A COMPANY PURPOSELY DESIGNED TO MAKE PROFITS ON PURE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND THEY KNOW THAT.
I suspect most of the positive reviews that you read are fake. Dodgy businesses will pay people to write fake reviews. Many customers do not even receive the items they paid for. I had to wait months. That's what they emailed me in February 2018:
"* Orders received before 2/12/2018 should be shipped out between 2/22/2018 and 3/01/2018
* Orders received before 3/01/2018 should be shipped out between 3/02/2018 and 3/10/2018"
In my case, it was longer as I only received the last two Items in April 2018 and I ordered them all together in February 2018. They offer no compensation, refunds, or any form of acknowledgment that what they offer is a joke. They should be shut down if not sued.
If this review does not stop you, make sure that you:
- email them prior to purchase asking for specific measurements & fabric composition as per their washing care
- understand that the photos are graphicly edited, that is, for example, they have a shot of a model wearing a templated style of a piece and they paste a pattern of the fabric onto it
- take screenshots of item description/overview at the time of purchase as they remove and edit them later

This is the worst ever lie fashionmia offers! Your oder will defenately not meet the dates given trust me i made the experience, when you ask you ask when your purchase is to arrive you are asked to have patience! On top of this you will be requested to pay a certain amount to speeden the shipment process! Even when you pay the extra shippment charges you will still have to wait along time before you receive the purchased items. You must have patience, time Luck... etc the minute you buy from fashionmia if you are fortunate enough to receive the bought items, Nightmare begins immediately you open your parcel! You will regret and wonder what you could do with the clothes since you cant even give them to anyone. You will be lucky to have the correct size, the correct colour, the material, the sewing quality etc. Fashionmia will try their best to convince you to keep the clothes, you will be offered coupons and sales percentage if you keep the clothes. Fashionmia will warn you to send back the clothes since its very expensive for you to post back the items... they dont offer any return lebels! The reason being as long as you have the bought items with you you wont claim for any refund! At this point please communicate with them, describe exactly why you not satisfied and ask them to give you an adress to send back the items. Dont mind them in case they dont reply you, keep sending emails to them. Those emails are very impportant for your resolution later when you forward your claim to paypal for example.The customer service always asks for patience since they need enough time to process your refund, they need to confirm with their financial department etc. I was given 3-5 days.The next day i was to told they regret so much that i must wait for 20-45 days for them the work on my refund.And what do you think tfashionmia does with your money? Fashionmia puts your money in their financial schemes whilst you are struggling to get your refund the soonest possible! They will always find something to blame on! Those who used paypal have a better chance if you then alert paypal that there is a problem with the transaction they did for you. Fashionmia will try their best again to convince you to remove your complain away from paypal! If you do so then you will loose your refund! They will also send you private emails brainwashing you that paypal has frozen "their" hence fashionmia is not able to refund you! You will be promised to get your refund in 48 hours that they will do their best to satisfy you. Dont be fooled by a customer service that was not able to refund you before.
Paypal is genuine, follow what paypal suggest you do.If it wasnt for paypal i would have lost Euros 236! Even if am still at minus Euros 37,99 return postage fees for a mistake that is not mine! I unfortunately did not read these accurate reviews below before placing my order. As soon as I ordered and then read the reviews I immediately (within 5 hours) began the cancellation and refund process.
Upon my request to stop the shipment and refund the money to my credit card I have had no less then at least half a dozen - a dozen emails exchange. First they offered a reduction in the cost, free shipping and a credit for a future use - I declined all and continued to reiterate I wanted a full refund applied to my credit card. Then they wanted to know why I wanted the refund and I said, and had to continue to say, that is of no relevance - I want a refund. Then they offered me a store credit - I said no and wanted a refund (and again had to state the reason was of no consequence to my request). Then they said they'd put it in a "wallet" and I could use that money for a future purchase - I said no I wanted a full refund. They said the wallet process was part of their refund practice and this is the way it had to be. So rigth now I'm waiting for the money to be placed in my wallet and then I'll have to go through whatever steps are needed to get my money back. During all this I was also told the process of return could take up to 45 days - this I also balked out and insisted was unreasonable. I haven't gotten the money back (3 days since it all started yet) but I'm told the process takes time. I will tell you I buy from many reputable stores all the time - their process is immediate and no questions asked - look for sales and buy from reputable companies. This is a sham!
I will share - I do A LOT of online shopping and have never NEVER NEVER experienced anything like this. If I had the time and motivation I'd contact the better business bureau and report their horrible service and apparent actions to not follow their own return policy (stated on their website) and their actions to steal money from unknowing clients.
It was becuase of your comments that I even started the procedure and I wanted to thank and warn all of you. I NEVER write a review about any company, but this time I just think it's so outrageous everyone should be warned.
Thank you for helping me - next time (albeit I doubt there will ever be a next time) I order from a non recognized "store" I will absolutely check for comments.
