I was planning a weekend’s trip to Malaysia and I did not want to spend much on my tickets. I wanted to save and spend the money on my vacation on food and souvenirs. Luckily, I came across this website that had some good deals. I saved a lot. Thank you and keep offering such good deals.
Booked flights from Calgary to St Lucia in June '15, for November '15. Less than one week before scheduled to leave they call me saying my flights have been cancelled by the airline (not their fault I guess). They offer me an alternative itinerary which doesn't work for me so I request a refund. Now the fun part... I get an email a couple of days later saying refund has been processed by the airline and will be credited to my card in 10-15 business days. 15 business days goes by, no refund. I email to follow up, they say actually the airline refunded faregeek, not me directly, so they will process a refund for me with online transfer to be in my account in 7 business days with account details I provided to them. 7 business days later, no refund. Call them up, next guy says oh actually we are going to send you a check which will arrive in 2-3 weeks. So I speak to his supervisor who says actually no, we will online transfer and it will take 2 billing cycles (8 weeks for a refund money transfer!?!). Quite frankly, no one has a clue what is going on, I have been told something different every time call. I am sitting here nearly 2 months after my flights got cancelled last minute, and I'm still waiting for a refund from these guys. Ridiculous, stay away.
I stumbled on FareGeek just recently, and discovered much lower prices than what my travel agent can offer me. I had to book a flight during the Christmas holidays, and everything was over-priced! Luckily, I came across FareGeek and found a very good price! With any online booking system, always call their 1-888 or 1-800 line to verify that they have received all your info properly. And then the next important step is to call the airline company or check the airline company's website to verify your reservation. While you verify your reservation, you can also assign yourself a seat of your choice (subject to availability). But like with any airline ticket, once you buy it (unless you buy cancellation insurance), there is no refund. I found the customer service reps at FareGeek helpful and patient, so I give them a 4.5 rating for being helpful to guide me through my first online purchase. Once I board the plane and everything goes well with my upcoming trip, I will write another review! Thank you, FareGeek! Keep up the good work!

Faregeek, buyer beware these guys are a rip off. They charged me $300.00 to book a $167.00 airline ticket. They operate from the Skylink Airline Ticket Center, 15W 36th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY ******* (http://www.skylinkus.com/Index.aspx). They sent me a bad itinerary Airline confirmation number: United Airlines L8BV5S. Which was a flight out of Montreal instead of Denver. Plus I have yet to receive my eTicket Number for the flight.

Booked a flight with Faregeek and was overcharged by $108 on my credit card. Called a month ago and was told that I would be getting a refund check in the mail within 2-3 weeks. It's literally been past 3 weeks and still nothing. I called back again and was told that the cheque would be coming in another 3-4 days. This is a completely ridiculous wait time! I'm a student with not a lot of money and quite frankly overcharging your customers and making them "wait" this long seems pretty sneaky of Faregeek to do. To be honest I was going to recommend Faregeek to other people for your cheap prices, but after this I'm not so sure
*** Finally received my money at the end of December. Funny how I had to call a third time with a guy named Nelson who told me it would come within another week and promised to email me a status update within 48hrs on my refund which he never did. As well he told me that it takes 2 billing cycles for refunds to be processed which seems ridiculous for a company like this. As well I sent a message to DAN, the Faregeek rep on this page telling him my booking number and contact info mid December in which he NEVER replied nor did any supervisor contact me within 24 hours. So pretty much Faregeek lied to me and no one really knew what was going on. I'll never be using Faregeek again nor recommending this to anyone I know. To be honest, I've seen small startup companies with 10x better customer service and operations than this company.

I used the mobile app to get my tickets. It worked perfectly well. Loved it.
Previously when I had to get my tickets to Toronto and Vancouver for my work tour I had to depend on this website as my HR manager was on leave. I loved the service and faced no issues. Now when I am planning a tour to Australia for a wellness seminar and workshop I am planning to use this website again.
I checked the Air Canada website again after a phone conversation to rebook (at over $500) and coincidentally the flights on January 2nd are back down to $360. I am disgusted with the tactics you clearly used to deceive a customer like me. To find a way to spike the prices for Jan 2nd and 1st while I am trying to rebook at that specific time is sickening. Before the phone call and after the phone call (including right now) the prices are back down to $360 & $260. I have also contacted Air Canada because clearly you must be working together to rip off customers, like you just did. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this disgusting attempt to rip off customers through your company. I am a teacher and a coach in the community and I will do all that I can to make it clear to everyone I meet to never use a company that goes out of their way to cheat their customers. I took pictures of the Air Canada website with the reduced price on the two dates before our conversation on the phone and right after we rebooked, that clearly shows the price it should be.
Don't every use this site, based on this, clearly they are all about deceiving the customer.
