I just want to post this in hope that the FAT TIGERS that were at Fandango's last night will see it! We went there because my boyfriend is a Veteran. We waited in line for over 1 hour. We enjoyed the time talking to other Veterans and seeing how lucky he was to not come home with any injuries. We saw multi people in wheel chairs, walkers, crunches, some had to be helped standing up, some on oxygen etc. But they all were happy to be able to share some of their stories with fellow Veterans.
When we finally got in and served we saw 2 couples come in the GO OUT entrance. They talked to one of the servers. They were seated immediately! I went up to her and asked why! She said something about tigers, I asked to speak to the manager.
I asked her why they could get in without standing in line like all the other Veterans. I said if you look at the line still waiting to get in, it is still winding around clear to the back of the casino. She said these people are TIGERS. I asked very politely what in the HELL are tigers. She said they are people that spend quite a bit gambling. So I said so this day is NOT FOR Veterans alone it's also for Tigers! I said all the announcements that we have heard is not true, because it kept saying that the casino is honoring Veterans today! I guess someone needs to go and tell him to add to the announcements that you are ALSO honoring tigers. It got a little heated, I told her I was going to write a letter to corporate telling them what I thought about what "they" were doing, I felt it was a dishonor to the Veterans who have been standing in line for a hour or longer. She told me if I did that that the corporate would probably not do this again. I asked her what she meant. She said they would not Give free food to the Veterans again next year, they would probably stop it. I told her what a Very Sad world that ONE DAY a year the tigers couldn't wait in line and show their support for our Veterans.
On 12/30/2016 I purchased two tickets on Fandango website as a guest to the movie La La Land via your website. As I was checking out, the system timed out so I did not finish the purchase. I went back and processed a separate transaction and received the tickets. A day later, I noticed there were two identical charges on my debit card. I went to the Fandango website and started a chat session to ask for a credit for the duplicate charge. I was told I cannot get a credit unless I join the Fandango VIP club even though they validated the incorrect charge. This makes absolutely no sense to me and defies the eCommerce Logic. If you can sell something to me as a guest, you should also be able to credit back a duplicate charge as a guest. I am very disappointed with Fandango and their Customer Service. I already have a VIP account, but it is on a different email address than I used for this purchase. I did not want to setup a second VIP account, I also called Fandango the very next day and got the identical response that your policy is that you can only do a refund if someone is a member of your VIP club, even if they purchased tickets as a guest. For one, I am not looking to get a refund/exchange of a product, I am asking for reversal of a charge that is incorrect, very different. The fact that your customer service people and their supervisor cannot do this is pathetic.
This entire scenario should not be the case, if you can charge my credit card without a VIP account when I purchase tickets, you can credit back an incorrect charge. You cannot hold me hostage by telling me the only way to get a refund is to setup a VIP account. I wasted 60 minutes debating this $ 23.20 charge and I still have not resolved it. I will end up calling my bank and dispute the charge, another waste of time for me but probably the only way to get proper credit. I will also cancel my other VIP account and not waste my time doing business with any of the Fandango owned entities. I will encourage others via Social Media, etc. to do the same. Fandango seriously needs to look at their policies and not hold people hostage for a reversal of a bad charge by asking people to join their club which will result in additional emails and unwanted advertisements.
We had 2 gift cards expire during Covid shut down and Fandango refuses to issue and replacement!
Attempted to buy tickets from your mobilesite, but I couldn't complete the transaction because my phine was stuck in the paypal, yes, I pressed the option of complete payment, but I was not able to see the confitmation page. So, I go to the ticket office and BUY ANOTHER 5 TICKETS. I called on saturday but there was very busy for you because no one could answer my call for a whole hour, I called today and the Lady that took my case told me that all the options I told her that I saw on my phone ( like if I had to memorize your site) " did not coincide with the regal page features" so I am liying I guess. Is not the fact that that there is a charge of 66.60 US$ in my paypal account, is the fact that this Lady told me that There is no soution to my problem. The confirmation page did not appear in my phone, period. I had to spend 59.95 more to get actal tickets to see the movie on time. Because I wanted to see the movie on saturday at 7:55 pm. Not whenever the confirmation page displayed on my phone ( which like I stated before, It didn't). The anwer I received is like I have to endure been charged twice and that is only my problem. In thend I am the only one with a problem right? The sad parti s that I love going to the movies and that I mostly use regal cinemas. This is a total loss. Is not the money, you are loosing clients with this kind of treatment.
Booked tickets for 4 people. 1 person cancelled. Went to refund, had to cancel the ENTIRE order. Immediately after cancelling, went back to reserve 3 tickets again. As I am picking the exact same seats, I click next and get a server 502 error. I exit out of the attempted reservation and immediately go back to retry. Then I find out that some random dumba**es have stolen my seats. From the way I see it, these people were reserving the seats AT THE EXACT SAME TIME as me. This is absolute bullsh*t. The system should NOT work that way. At least have a short timer in place where the seats are non reservable in case the original buyer changes their mind. Thanks to this massive flaw, the plans that my friends and I had for today were completely ruined.
I know that I shouldn't really be taking out my frustrations with the folks that stole my original seats, but still... screw them and f*ck Fandango.
Just in case some of you are curious to know if I attempted to reach out to any customer support regarding this. The answer is yes, of course I did. In fact, I reached out to my local theater who couldn't do anything, and I also reached out to Fandango support. After 20 minutes on hold, which doesn't sound too bad compared to the times listed in these other reviews, I was told nothing could be done except for submitting a compensation request which may get me a promo code. (The customer service representative I spoke to was not a bad person and I hold nothing against the person).
I had originally wanted a full refund of my Fandango credit back to my credit card, however that's completely impossible (or so they say), so unfortunately it looks like I will have to use Fandango once more before completely quitting from their sh*tty service.
Again Fandango, go to hell.
I will never use fandango again. I called two hours prior to movie starting for a refund and was on hold for over 2.5 hours yes crazy. The theater manager was so surprised they allow me to switch the time and date. I left messages never received a call back. When some one answer after 1.5 hrs. Waiting they pretended they couldn't find my account. I called on my other phone while still with fandango customer service and pretended I was buying tickets and guess what for that they did find my account. It's been over a month, several messages to talk to a supervisor and I have yet to hear from one. I see this kind of reviews all the time now. Wondering if the reason fandango does this is so they don't have to refund any money. I've gone to several theaters now and used their website to get tickets. They've also recommended to stop using fandango as they deal with many issues from customers regarding refunds from fandango. Theaters will not give you a refund if you purchase through a third party. So my recommendation out the experience I've had with fandango is not to use them. I give them no stars for SUPER BAD COSTUMER SERVIVE. NOT BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT ANYONE AT CORPORATE OFFICE. HAVINGB TO WAIT ON THE PHONE FOR OVER ONE TO TWO HOURS TO TALK TO A LIVE PERSON. WHEN YOU GET A LIVE PERSON THEY WILL GIVE YOUTHE RUN AROUND AND SAY THEY CAN'T FIND YOIR ACCOUNT.

Fandango is a joke, they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased 5 tickets on line re first time I ever used the service. I tried to cancel one on line we'll before the movie. When I arrived at the theatre to use the other 4 tickets, I was advised by the clerk not to use the voucher / bar code because they wouldn't refund my 5th ticket purchased, claiming I used it. She suggested I call tocancel, which I did. I started the call 10 minutes before the movie started, by the time I got a live person on the phone to cancel, I was told it would take 3-5 days for the request yo be processed. I was not told their policy is ABSOLUTELY no cancels after the movie started. Since I didn't make contact with the person until 2 minutes after it started, you would think she'd say ABSOLUTELY NO refunds after the movie starts, no she said 3 - 5 days to process the request. So I purchased 4 more tickets so as national t to use the 5 I just requested to cancel. 1 week later my request to cancel for a refund was denied citing policy. After multiple attempts to get someone to reconsider, including a very rude exchange with the chat line operator, terminating the chat because I wanted her to relay all the facts I spelled out here. I have all the documentation so I am thinking of Turing it over to the CFPB, (Consumer Finance Protection Bureau) since I used a gift card issued by Fandango, which does not disclose there is a $7.50 "convenience fee" to see the card to purchase tickets, a card with a twenty five dollar value, so it took approx. Thirty percent of the card value to use it, seems like usury rates to me. Stay away from this crappy company! Mthey are ripoff artist!
A Fandango Card is a Ripoff with their "Convenience Fee" and inability to use it on Fandango Now. If I could give it zero stars I would.

So their rewards decide to participate with Core Hydration for a contest, giving away $10 cards. I won and received my winning code on 2/27.3/2 I try to redeem (3 days later), and it tells me limit exceeded. I emailed them about the situation and they tell me the same thing. I replied back saying I haven't used one, maybe hacked code from the data base or something. They forward to their support and I receive the same crap over again. HEY FANDANGO, Keep your garbage! I don't appreciate your mistakes and putting the blame on me, I'll make sure I spread this review all over.
Answer: Shauna, try Ken's suggestion. After years as a loyal customer & "Fan" of Fandango, I had an issue that should have been easily resolved. When I finally spoke to a live CSR, the response & subsequent email were robotic & useless. I now buy gift cards from the theatres & save my $$ and time. Good luck to you, though!
Answer: You do Julie S., but if you purchase it within 2 hours of the movie you are out of luck and that's what I happened to do. I accidentally chose that same day rather than the next day (Saturday) and since I was within a 2 hour time frame they said too bad. Never will use them again that's for sure. It was an honest mistake and I explained that but the woman on the phone was very nasty.
Answer: I would try emailing them, unfortunately there is no one to call as far as I know. If that doesn't work why don't you try calling a theater near you that takes fandango, ask for a manager. Answer: I didn't wake up with a dead horse in my bed but all other evidence in dealing with Fandango indicate that they are mob-owned. Perhaps the mob has more morals. Maybe not mob-owned. What would be worse than the mob because that's likely who owns them. Difficult question to answer. Best not to do business with them anyway.
