I am from Canada and made a purchase yesterday. After reading reviews I got really freaked out and tried to call to cancel my membership. First of all, it takes forever to get through to speak to ANYONE. I called my bank and asked for advice - they had said they have already had to deal with this company and that you will really have to negotiate if you want to cancel your account. So my bank transferred my call over to the Fabletics number again and after pressing "4" (for membership cancellation) I finally got through to someone and as soon as I mentioned I wanted to cancel my account THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I haven't been able to get through since.
This company IS trying to scam you. There is fine print and if you read it and have no problem having to get to your computer before the 5th of every month to cancel the order then maybe it will work for you. The fact that A) their hidden fees are highly inaccessible and B) their membership cancellation is SO difficult to access is just a really sneaky way for this company to legally take your money. Do not shop here. Spend a little more for something more reliable.
Just an FYI I had to cancel my credit card and report it as lost so that this company cannot charge me any more "hidden fees" or for any "VIP offers". So bad.
I absolutely LOVE Fabletics! I have told all of my friends and family about Fabletics and have turned them onto Fabletics as well. I highly recommend their clothing to anyone and everyone.
I was happy to buy some new Fabletics shorts a couple months ago, and really like the quality and the feel. But a month later I'm charged $50 for a membership I didn't knowingly sign up for. When I'm on a check out page on a site, I'm very aware of unchecking any boxes that ask me to become a subscriber, member, or to get promo emails. That fact I didn't see that I somehow signed up for a membership makes me think it was intentionally made so I that I would overlook it. So, I had to waste my own time calling their customer support to get a refund and cancel my membership. Side note: the audio quality of that call made it very difficult to hear the person on the other line, which just added to the frustration of my whole experience. I didn't feel valued by Fabletics. I just felt they wanted me for my money. I work closely with one of Forbes "Top 20 Speakers You Shouldn't Miss." And he helps companies learn how to be FOR their customers. Fabletics seems quite unpracticed at that. I'll gladly spend more money if I have to for a better experience with a company like Lulu Lemon, even though they're more expensive.

This company is a scam! I ordered my first outfit at the end of May, June 1, I got my outfit choices and immediately skipped the month because I still hadn't received my original purchase. Today, the 11th of June I am notified I had credits and a charge for not skipping. So I call the company and tell them that it illegal to charge somebody for items not purchased and if they continue to do so they will be facing lawsuits! The lady then tells me that sometimes if somebody skips a month the website automatically refers them to the shopping page leaving the customer to think they're in the clear when in fact, they're still on for charges that month. She then offers me 500 credits to get a swag item if I stay on, I tell her NO. I will not be making additional purchases from this website again and now I want to fully cancel my membership. I spoke with a manager at that point. The manager then told me the problem was not with the company, it was with ME because... I'm not sure why, I skipped the month and they still charged me and then tried to bribe me into continuing with their company. I can't believe somebody like Kate Hudson would support these kinds of tactics.
I've been a "member" of Fabletics for a few years and never loved their structure of "purchase something within the first 5 days of the month or be charged a member fee." Now, I've just learned they recently changed this policy and purchasing within the first 5 days of the month no longer automatically exempts you from the member fee charge. Now, if you don't want to be charged this member fee for a "Member Credit," you have to click the "Skip this Month" button REGARDLESS of whether or not you purchased something already. What's more, I checked back in my emails from Fabletics and never received notice that this policy was changing. This is such an unbelievably exploitative business practice, knowing people won't realize the policy has changed and will be charged unnecessarily. That's not at all a way to run a business if you want your customers to remain loyal. It's a shame because I have liked most of the items I've received from Fabletics, but I don't know if I want to be a part of such a shady business.

Very fine quality of material. Quick delivery. I will order again.
I have been seeing advertisements for this brand for years and finally decided to give them a try and I signed up on the 31st of May. The catch with this company is, in order to get those great prices they advertise, you must sign up to be a VIP. When signing up as a VIP you are agreeing to allow Fabletics to charge your card every month for $50. You must skip within the first 5 days of the month and you better skip or you will not be getting that money back. I ordered an outfit (pants, shirt, bra), disliked it all and signed on to return the items and cancel my membership. In my mind, I guess I read cancel between the 1st and the 5th of the month as the 15th and thought I had time to cancel, nope I missed it. After cancelling my membership, I checked my bank account and saw the $50 charge. I reached out to try to get a refund since I was not interested in using the membership and didn't like the products but no such luck. They just threw all their clauses and membership guidelines in my face and pretty much told me I was SOL. So, I had a cancelled membership and 50 bucks sitting on their website, which I figured I might as well use. Well, come to find out in order to use that credit, you have to be VIP. The process went like this: I had to add something to my cart, resign up for VIP, apply the credit, checkout and then cancel the membership again. This company got me for over $50 with nothing to show for it. I am not a fan of their style and I'm hoping to sell the items to someone online to try to make up for the cost. I will not be using Fabletics again and would not recommend them to anyone I know.

My clothes fit perfectly. It is a good and durable fabric.
I am never able to find anything but basic black in my size or my daughters. XL/XXL
It's extremely disappointing to never be able to get stuff that fits in any other color.

Fabletics has been the 2nd worst experience overall and with customer service I have ever had in my life. I cancelled my VIP membership (which you have to do via phone instead of conveniently online, which would be better because all the customer service reps make mistakes and you have to start over with a new agent again each time and they still mess up.) And the customer service agent said they would cancel my membership for me. They did not. I was charged. I called again about the error and a new rep said she would refund me and cancel the membership. THEY STILL DID NOT CANCEL IT. I had to call a third and forth time. Then I returned some items because they were too large and the sports bra and leggings were not supportive or durable enough. I got a partial refund, and the service rep took that as a sign that I wanted to restart the membership again and I was a charged for a service I did not consent to FOR A THIRD TIME. I am hoping all is correct, I am still awaiting to make sure all things have been worked out, this has been going on since December. I feel I am basically an employee and should be paid at this point. The business itself is overpriced. It seemed like a good deal when they mentioned the VIP membership, but it is not worth the hassle. There are really nice leggings for 30$ elsewhere.

I, like many others, became a "VIP" in order to get the 2 leggings for $24. I liked that the ones I chose had a built in pocket in the leg. When I did receive my order the long leggings looked like they would fit a pre-teen (I ordered med) But I know leggings stretch. I tried to put them on but felt like a sausage getting stuffed in a casing! I could have worn them if I wanted to feel bound. But, no, returns are easy. A return label is in the bag. No postage necessary. The other item I ordered was shorts which is nice as it has the tight material with loose flowing material over it so I kept those.
It took several contacts with customer service to find out the status of my return. No communication on it unless I investigated it myself. They got it back on the 31st but no refund yet on the 9th. So I contacted them again by chat (no longer have email support) and said they were received, as if it were today so refund coming sometime next week... (they say 5-7 business days) I would have actually liked to have exchanged the leggings for a larger size but that was not shown as an option. When I asked about it they said there would be a shipping charge so I declined. Hopefully I will get my refund.
The items are a nice quality but run small and price tags are high. I doubt I will let them charge the $49.95 each month for me to pick outfits. I wanted one nice outfit to wear to the gym to feel inspired but I think I will stick with leggings from Amazon and a t-shirt!

There has been a decline in the quality of materials used. There seems to be a lack of creativity as well. I feel like it was the same designs over and over and it wasn't exciting anymore.

I cannot even give this franchise a star after learning how they treat their customers. I was initially very excited to join the Fablectic craze and have new workout gear. However that is not the case now, instead I feel appalled and disrespected. About a month ago I signed up for the VIP membership and placed my first order of roughly 74 US dollars. Some time past without me receiving this order, so this morning I placed a call to the company's customer service. I expressed concern to the sales representative, and she told me to hold while she attempted to locate my order. I was then notified that my package was returned to Fablectics due to an error for the shipping address. Instead of notifying me, their customer, of this, Fabletics kept the order and continued to charge my Visa card knowing that orders placed would never reach their destination. If I had not called looking for answers I would have never found out about an error with the shipping address, nor learned that Fablectics willingly kept this information from me. I feel cheated by Fabletics. I am absolutely appalled by their negligence and this egregious act. I will no longer support the Fablectic franchise. I cannot judge the company on the quality of clothing, as I have never received merchandise from them. However, after this experience I suggest to future possible customers to look elsewhere.
Fabletics has a great selection of leggings and sports bra. They fit true to size, and they stay fresh and colorful even after many washings. I love Fabletics.
Hi Barbara,
Thank you for such a wonderful review! We always strive to set a standard with the quality and fit of our products and we are glad to know that you like them!

I ordered an outfit which I thought was half price which turned out not to be... that didn't bother me that much. However, I looked at my bank account a few weeks later and there was money debited and credited a few times then 2 debits because I apparently signed up for VIP which debits from your account every month (49.95us). I called to cancel and they tried so much to have me not cancel. They eventually say they will credit the exact conversion back into my account... which I had to break down to them over and over again. Then of course they don't credit the correct amounts... Because of the conversions they say Canadian to American. They say there isn't anything they can do about it. I usually don't get upset about a little difference but this is just B. S! They shouldn't even get a dollar from anyone for free... especially with the poor customer service and VIP scam. FYI I immediately cancelled and requested a new card when I saw all the debits from my account. THUMBS DOWN! They don't even get 1 star rating from me
This website is only a scam IF you let it scam you.
When signing up for the VIP membership underneath the perks of the membership, there is a how it works section.
Bullet 1 tells you when your outfits are available and that they will be $49.95 each month.
Bullet 2 states that you can buy the outfit you want or skip that month. Which you have to do by the 5th.
Bullet 3 states that you will accrue a store credit of $49.95 if you do not skip by the 5th or forget to.
These are are very clearly stated on the website before you purchase your first outfit. If you choose to sign up and get your $25 first outfit - awesome. Just remember to skip the next month, or cancel so that you don't get charged. If you check your email daily (as most people do) you shouldn't have an issue remembering to skip. It is only your fault if you forget to skip (canceling is a different story - as I have not worked with their customer service) since it's stated and you should know what you sign up for before you do it. There is no reason why you should sign up for a company without reading all of the terms, and unfortunately I don't understand those who have said that they don't understand why they are being charged the $49.95. It's stated for you, it's up to you to read it.
I have had no issues with Fabletics, I think it's great to get new pieces of athletic clothing each month or skip if I don't want it. If you are interested in signing up for the VIP membership, just make sure that you read through all of the rules before you toss your credit card their way.
Customer service is always great. I had to return a pair of sweatpants and ordered a smaller size. Prompt and easy! Plus clothes are always great quality, and these pants are SO soft. Love!

I normally never write reviews. But my experience with fabletic was such a disaster that i felt like I had to warn other women.
After ordering my first outfit, I apparently missed out on the monthly charges to follow and got charged $68.75 CAN the next month. So I called the company to get a refund and to cancel my VIP account (that I had just learned about). The lady I talked too refund me (it ended up being less than what was charged to my card) but was really persistent about me keeping my account. So its only after arguing for a bit that she finally agreed to cancel it. I waited for her to do it and, before hanging up, I asked her to confirm me that my account had really been cancelled. And she did.
Today, I saw that my card got charged AGAIN! I called them back and I got told that the previous customer service representative I talked too wrote in "comments" that I had decided to continue my account!? What a waist of my time, my money, and my trust! I have never been that desapointed by a company! Please don't make the same mistake and don't support this brand!
Just a very slimy way to get customers to continue paying. They advertise the VIP Membership and the whole time you are signing up there is nothing obvious about a monthly fee or having to sign on to the website each month to skip the payment. (I NEVER CAME ACROSS THIS WHEN I WAS SIGNING UP, AM I THE ONLY ONE?) I signed up thinking I was making a one time purchase and I continued to get charged each month. It wasn't until I went back and really read through the fine print to see why I was getting charged. Just complete B. S. Be honest and upfront with your customers if you want them to be happy. PEOPE ARE BUSY, LIKE WHO WANTS TO HAVE TO REMEMBER TO PRESS SKIP EACH MONTH TO NOT GET CHARGED. SUCH A SCAM. On top of this, the products are not that great, I bought 3 leggings and 2 of them are kind of see through. I hope I can save some people from making this dumb mistake!

Answer: I did read the fine print, as stated, which you find out when you are about to place your order. Those few who LOVE Fab would have you believe, that we are dolts and can't figure out this "club" has you by the short hairs once you order 1 outfit... the hook is set. So if you wanna hassle with the $49.95 charge that you may or not remember to decline each month, see the charges on your card, only to find you have "store credit" instead of the charges removed... then by all means, place your order. As far as the 16% "like" rate at the top, THAT in itself should let you know, steer clear. It took me MANY attempts just to stop their emails from coming to me... finally!
Answer: Hi Heidi I really would cancel as soon as possible because if you don't you will be charged whether you buy anything or not. Do it now because if not before 5th, you will be charged. You have to do this every month it's really not worth the hassle, I would buy from the high street at least you know where you stand. Also, I am assuming Myka works for the company! There are very few positive comments about this company I would steer well clear.
Answer: I rang my bank and told them to stop any future payments leaving my account. When I finally got through to fabletics, I had the worst most arrogant a***hole in customer services so I wouldn't bother wasting your breath
Answer: When I cancelled, I made sure that I used up every dime of credit because I was pretty sure that this shady company would take the credit I was owed. Someone should start a class action suit against them. They just do whatever they want...
Answer: The best thing to do is to use your credit and buy something in the amount you were charged and then call to cancel your membership. You can try to get them to reverse the charges but chances are you won't get it back. Don't cancel until you use the money you already paid though!
Answer: All the good reviews on this site most likely come from employees, you could ask them.
Answer: Unfortunately this company is corrupt. You'll have to call relentlessly until they answer. I cancelled over the phone successfully. Leave a post with your negative experience getting a hold of someone to cancel.
Answer: I bombarded them on twitter and Facebook. They got back to me quick!
Answer: No you are not. Cancel it asap and then you won't get charged the monthly subscription charge. Best to call them and cancel it over the phone, and then send an email stating that you called and that they promised to cancel the account just as back up.
Answer: I think you should be okay! Canceling it is easy but I really doubt they'll send you a bill! I used it for a while and had no problems until this one but they were so beyond rude :( unless they have your billing information they can't just charge you!
