Love the Product, Hate the system

I loved the product that I bought from Fabletics and it is some of the best shorts I have I tried to get the deal of the 2 for 24 but they only sent me one pair, which I was okay with but then realized that they charged me for a background subscription to their VIP platform that I didn't know there was a 54 dollar charge for their VIP platform and that was not money I wanted to spend. I had to call their customer support line and convince the rep that I needed the refund as it wasn't enough to be confused. In the end, I love the product after using it for 3 months but hate that I only got one and that it was a subscription-based system.

Good products a little over priced

[I ordered a few sports bras and some leggings. If it weren't for the one time 'new member' discount i would have spent almost $400. The steep discount convinced me to follow through with the order anyway and i figured i would see if the quality was really worth the price tag.

Im telling you, i got some of the exact same things at walmart all withing the $20 range and i can not tell them apart. Also, going to my local walmart i had them the same day instead of waiting 2 weeks to recieve them in the mail.

Lastly, to get continued 'discounts' they want a *monthly* membership... the products were good quality but it just didn't seem worth the money. I canceled my membership and i am enjoying my workout gear with no issues, both fabletics *and* the walmart brand.]

Update:
They sent me the attached reply, but, honestly, i feel like it just affirms what i wrote in the review. A membership is $56/month, a 2 piece outfit is $80. So one outfit for $80 from fabletics and be at the mercy of 'shipping issues' or 2 outfits at Walmart for the same price and same quality, done right away... all im saying is it's a little over-priced. They got me once and good for them, but the continued membership (even with remembering to use the 'skip month' function *every month* until i want an $80 outfit just didn't seem worth it to me. Maybe it's worth it to you, but they sent me an email asking me for my opinion, so here it is.

I seriously love Fabletics, and recommend it to people all the time! There are only a couple things that i'd like to see improve: 1) bras and 2) the website/app.
1) As a woman who is a bit "gifted" in the chest the sports bras are always so hit or miss. Low and medium impact sports bras are usually great, but its like their attempt at making a sports bra "high impact" just includes making the straps tighter. That is not helpful, now my chest is bouncing around just as much as before but at the same time the straps are so tight that I can't breathe during my workouts. Would love to see more high impact sports bras that are made with curvier (not just plus sized, but curvy too) women in mind.
2) The website/app. I love the set up, but it constantly seems to be lagging as if it is dial-up and needs a few minutes to process every request no matter what phone/computer I am using. Also, we used to be able to see the clothes on different sized models and in recent months that has seemed to go away. Any chance we can get that back? It's SOOO helpful to see clothes on people who are not size XS.

Otherwise, I absolutely love the brand and clothes, 90% of my athletic wardrobe is from Fabletics and i'm generally really happy with it. I would love to see more 3" inseam shorts and dresses/skirts with built in shorts/bras, i'm obsessed with my new tennis skirt!

I skipped november and they still charged me. I called for a refund and to close the account and he told me i had to spend my $ on my account in order to close it. So i bought a jacket on sale,( which i have not received a month later) and left me with a $16 balance. So i never closed my account knowing i had to spend the remainder of my money. Welp, next month, i skipped and it billed me again. I call and the rep immediately refunded my 49.95, but i also wanted to close my account. F you guys. He told me if i close it, i would not be able to exchange or return my jacket if i did not like it. OMG. There is a hook for every little thing. It is a pain in the $#*!. At this point, i really dont care if i like the jacket or not. I wanted the 16 to be refunded but i cannot because the status of MY money is in member credit status. Lol. I asked to speak to a supervisor over the principle of the matter and they are issuing a check. Now im asking for my account to be closed and sent into the void.

Worst purchase ever!
September 4, 2017

I bought my first outfit with every intention on being a VIP and ordering every month. My first outfit showed up WRONG! I got two shirts and a bra when I ordered leggings a shirt and bra. I talked to customer service who wanted me to exchange the wrong item but they wouldn't send my paid for item until he exchange was finished. No no no. I asked to cancel my membership after talking to this incompetent customer service rep. After seeing that my membership was not cancelled I got back on with customer service an hour later and the customer service agent again was incompetent. She kept making blank statements and while I was waiting for something to reply to she would comment are you still there is you are not in hanging up. What the?!? She said something completely rude and said whoops that was not meant for you. I asked for the manager. She not only did NOT connect me to a manager but did not resolve Fabletics problem and still left me hanging with an incorrect order. Absolute worst customer service and company Ove ever dealt with!

Kate Hudson advertised her new company Fabletics.com on several morning shows. She had a deal 3 month ago where you could get a T shirt and stretch pant for 25.00. So I ordered it because I had to go to U of M Hospital. You could only pick certain things. When it arrived. The white T was see thru. The pants keep falling down. I did not take the tag off. My husband had someone come into his bank and had a charge for 49.95 from Fabletics which was FRAUD -and reported as so. A week later I got a charge for 49.95. My husband called them at 10:00pm mad. He wanted it refunded NOW. I filled out the survey card how I felt about the clothes. We were on the phone a hour and sent the clothes back.
I waited 5 days nothing. I looked up their website. It says 49.95 all over the add for a outfit. But on the last page hidden with other things you have already read. They will keep taking 49.95 out of your account for prior use. Even if you purchase a 15.00 item.
I called my bank's FRAUD department. They also found another charge from the month prior. So they took 100.00. They hide their name in the middle on the statement. Most companies are on the right.

IF YOU BUY FROM THEM. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A MONTHLY FEE...,., THEIR AUTOMATED PHONE SAYS YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

I have been in Finance several years and this is a first. I am contacting BETTER BUSINESS ASSOCIATES for people that don't catch this.

I do not think too much of KATE HUDSON for endorsing this behavior.

Effortless buying and returning

Ordering was easy peazy! Had to return a couple of items. Fabletics made it effortless. Printed off the return label they sent, put it in a envelope and in a couple weeks credited my account.

I was so disappointed that all the half zipped sweatshirts are completely sold out. My sweatshirt is too large, I wasn't able to exchange my sweatshirt. I was told to hold it a little longer

Quality not there anymore

The overall quality and the material wasn't the same. I have several pair that I bought a few years ago. Did ask you where the new ones didn't fit well quality of material is poor.

Frustrating
December 2, 2022

I ordered a bra on September 21 it is now December 2 and I finally have a refund which I just got on November 29th
First package took two weeks to arrive which seems extreme since it was coming from the US and I live in Canada.
First bra (bra 1) was too big so I did an exchange, took 1 week for return package to arrive at return facility (in Canada). I then finally ended up calling fabletics to have them release the exchanged bra (bra 2) since it didn't automatically ship when the return was confirmed delivered. Bra 2 took 2 weeks to arrive.
Bra 2 was still too big. I tried to process a refund but bc bra 2 was an exchange I was given the option of $0 back.
I called fabletics (November 4) and a smaller size (bra 3) was supposed to be shipped. Bra 2 took one week to arrive at return facility.
Bra 3 still had not shipped after one week. I called the 24/7 phone number and got an automated response that bra 3 had shipped even though it still said on hold on the website.
Another week passed (now November 29) and I got an email that said my order was cancelled bc there was no stock. I called fabletics and they were able to actually refund my money.
It's so frustrating that this process too 6 weeks to get sorted out. I understand that I live Canada and Canada's market share is so very small but if you aren't going to be good at shipping there, just don't bother.

I purchased two leggings in different colors. Exact same products. They were too long, so I exchanged them for a shorter size. It was easy, I'll give them that. I received the exchange and the one pair was longer than the other, although it was marked as size "short". It fit like a regular, basically the same exact length I originally received.

I contacted customer service and was told it was a warehouse error. And I couldn't return it because it was from an exchange. And I couldn't exchange it because there were no other sizes in stock in other colors! I asked if they could compensate me for the tailor costs which would literally be what, 10-15 dollars? And they said they could give me a 10 dollar credit to my VIP account, which I have already canceled. I asked multiple times if there's anything else they can do for me and they said no.

They're a multi-million dollar company and can't compensate a customer for the tailoring costs due to THEIR warehouse error. Ridiculous. Never shopping here again.

Where do I begin...
I must say that I absolutely love fabletics apparel. The clothes fit me super well and I have always been extremely satisfied with my purchases. I have been a VIP member for almost a year now. When I moved homes, for some reason, my new address with apartment number was not recognized as a valid address when trying to place an order online, despite the fact that all other companies (amazon, etc) recognized me just fine. The site does not let you place your order unless your address is "verified" so I was unable to order anything unless I called to place it, an extreme inconvenience. I have now called about this matter 4 times! The first time being promised that it would be fixed, and the rest of the times my issue was "escalated". I was told I would receive an email, a call, some sort of communication that my issue was being worked on. It's been over a month and not a single person has gotten ahold of me. I am appalled at the promises (verbatim "I promise you this will be fixed") I have been made that the issue will be "resolved" and nothing has happened. If anything, I should at least be contacted by someone to explain the issue and why it cannot be resolved. All in all, this failure on behalf of their costumer service has since caused me to inactivate my membership. I will never be purchasing from Fabletics again. And the sad thing is, it's not because of their product, it's because of their people and absolute failure in costumer service.

Fabletics is a money scam!

To start off, I do pretty much all of my clothes shopping online and have rarely had any issues. I first came upon fabletics in February 2016. I purchased a pair of workout leggings and two tops. The original reason I was tempted to buy from there was that they advertised "join fabletics and get your first outfit 50% off." I signed up for the membership thinking it was just like any other online store I had purchased from. I received my clothing pretty fast and was pleased with the quality. However, I just checked my credit statements to realize that fabletics had been charging me 67$ canadian EVERY MONTH. When I called to complain and get my money back they explained to me that when becoming a "member" if a purchase wasn't made that month that they would charge your account. I HAD NO IDEA that's what I was getting myself into when I signed up. It was very unclear that this was what becoming a member meant and I am extremely upset that this has happened. That's a total of 402$ they have taken from my credit card while I have only ever once purchased from them. TOTAL SCAM. I would not recommend to anyone buying from them.
