The customer service was fine

The customer service was fine. The frame eye size is too large for my facial structure, odd because I currently have other frames that are the same exact measurements. The color and quality of the frame are adequate but I am sending them back for a refund.

Website had a glitch

Website had a glitch - I had to call and refresh process.

I paid more for next-day delivery, but didn't realize it would take more than a week to create the glasses. Perhaps my expectations were out of line...I expected the glasses one day after placing the order.

Good ordering experience

Good ordering experience. But, the follow-up emails to me kept asking for the prescription and PD, which I submitted twice, without any acknowledgement. After two weeks, I sent messages of dissatisfaction, asking if the company was trying to steal the $420 I had already paid. The next day, I received an email from a Stefanie, who said the glasses would be shipped within two days.

Easy to navigate website

Easy to navigate website. They had the frames I looked for on several different websites. Decided to order lenses and coatings I never tried before. Although my total combination of frames, lenses, and coatings cost about double what I have paid for in the past the quality of my new glasses is wonderful. I will purchase future prescription glasses from eyeglasses.com again.

It doesn't seem like the 'rush charge' that I paid for accomplished anything... it still seems like it took too long to receive. LensCrafters would have had it done within 24 hours, for comparison. Otherwise I'm happy.

Good customer service, website, shipping/tracking, etc. However, without being able to try on different sizes, the ones I selected were too small. I have ordered another larger pair and when they arrive, and I can gauge how the sizing works for me, I will be returning the first pair an perhaps the second pair also. As for the frames, I wore several pairs of these exact frames from about 1988 to 2000, and they were more sturdy, heavier frames then, which I would prefer. Also, the temples on the new ones, when folded, sit well below the frames, which my previous pairs never did. This indicates a different angle, which I am not sure if I will like. Time will tell if these changes prevent me from purchasing more of these frames when they wear out. Thanks & Regards, Doug Danbert.

I wasn't quite sure I was entering the information from my prescription accurately so called customer service and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. There was also a professional email requesting additional information and an update on delivery. Since this was my first shopping experience with eyeglasses.com I was a little skeptical but I am so delighted with my great glasses. I will definitely do business again with them. They were able to save me over $200.00 and get me perfect lenses set in the exact designer frames I wanted. THANKS SO MUCH!

I was looking for navy blue frames in small size, and hoping the shade of navy would work for me. Colors on computers are not always accurate. Your website is easy to work with and to search, especially with the filters. Saves people lots of time if they know what they're looking for. I ended up having to return these because they had brown and bright yellow tortoise on the stems, which did not look well on me or with the navy, and this was not apparent from the description or the picture on the website. The stems just looked like a dark brown in the picture. They were very nice fitting frames though and I would have kept them if the stems had been navy also.

Helpful written explanations and fast telephone support.

Was not clearly asked for email address.

Trouble with printing shipping label. Needed to send the link to someone else to print it out. Would have helped if this was an option next to 'print shipping label'. Instead I tried sending the gif file, which was cut off by their printer. Then later when I saw the link in an email, I forwarded the email with the link to my partner for printing. Overall needlessly cumbersome and wasted a lot of time. An option to send shipping label link to an additional email address would have done the job more efficiently and would have communicated the options available at the time when it was most needed.

Overall great value

Overall great value. Eyeglasses.com installed my old lenses in new frames. Not the cheapest online, but significantly less than the optometrist and much quicker delivery of frames. Great customer service and quick turnaround.

These are the third or fourth pair I've ordered from you,thanks.
This time, I had no contact, or response to emails concerning my order.
Finally 10 days after a order confirmation from them, after two phone calls I was able to talk to
Someone on the phone. It's not nice to leave a customer waiting to hear if the order
Was going to be late. Product was fine.

The site is very descriptive about what your options are for lenses, which I appreciate. The only improvement I'd recommend is explaining in more detail how to find your label to ship your frames to them for lens replacement. It wasn't immediately obvious, and other companies I've worked with will actually send you the label directly to your inbox, which is really helpful.

Shipping took longer than I expected, compared to similar online services.

The one pair of glasses that I really wanted showed they were in stock but received email 3 days later that they were unavailable so the other 2 pairs were mailed. I have returned them but have not received a credit yet. I have since purchased eyeglasses at LensCrafters because it is to hard to order online.

The best thing is that you had the exact glasses I wanted at a much, much lower lower cost than they were at a local optical shop. Thank you for the speedy delivery - they are a great fit and the Rx is perfect. I'm on a fixed income and appreciate that you are giving me a superior product and very good service at a really fair and affordable price. The ordering and delivery of the glasses was a great experience. There are a ton of options for frames and the lens you may require. I ordered and had my classes in less than 10 business days. They came with a case and have had no problems with them up to date

Should price match other stores

Should price match other stores. I ordered a pair of glasses from you all because you were the only site that had the color I wanted but after I paid was told that you didn't have them in stock and they were discontinued. I was told I needed to choose a different color and I many other sites had those frames for half the price of your store. I found that to be extremely disappointing.

I like to have access to the advanced search screen. The new screen doesn't scroll properly (Google Chrome) and many of the options I was looking for are not there to help me filter my search. Luckily, I ended up finding it by accident by going to my old orders and picking a frame that was no longer available.

Service was excellent

Service was excellent. I received my frames quickly; they were as ordered. I took them to my health care provider who has installed the lenses and they fit perfectly. Eyeglasses.com even followed up to see if I had received the frames. They were also less expensive than any I had found for this particular frame. Would highly recommend them.

I was hesitant to use this site as I had a bad experience ordering glasses online from Target Optical. I also didn't want to pay what my eye doc wanted to charge for the exact same pair of glasses. I took and chance and it worked in my favor. I would definitely recommend this site to friends and family.
