I love your prices and selection of styles but these glasses just do not hold up. I'm on my third pair in a year. First pair lost an arm, screw still intact. The second pair had a random crack in the bottom of the rim and the lenses popped out. For the price I'll continue to order because my insurance covers it, but if I was paying out of pocket I would not purchase from here.

Sooooo much cheaper to buy prescription glasses and sunglasses on EyeBuyDirect than at an eye glasses store. I saved over $300 this year as opposed to buying glasses and sunglasses 2 years ago.
They were great to work with, at the beginning.
I need to return glasses. I did not like the style and the prescription was not correct.
They said, in an email, i could have a one time replacement. They never informed me that it was a replacement OR return.
So i replaced. After sending them a picture of my prescription my new glasses prescription was still not right.
I simply wanted to return. They told me i had lost my chance in returning as i had already replaced.
If i knew it was one or the other i would of returned.
Now i am out 90$
Unless if you think you'll LOVE the style i would never buy from them again.

I ordered a pair of glasses (black with silver metal) it showed up and it was blavk with gold metal. I called and explained that the photo on their site showed silver metal. They blamed it on my computer screen. I picked out a different pair with the representative on the line and they assured me that it had silver metal. I need these glasses for my daughters wedding in 4 days. They showed up today and they had glod metal.
They had the gall to ask me if I was sure it was gold. They then told me that they cant guarantee what color the metal will be on a pair of glasses. The representative today (when I asked what they were going to do to compensate me for their mistake and that I was relying on them to get the glasses that I wanted/needed for my daughters wedding) told me he couldn't authorize compensation. I asked to speak to his supervisor then. He then said he could offer me 30% off on my next purchase and (despite just telling me he can't guarantee any color) that he would make sure Igot the color I wanted. Horrible service. To have them LIE to me or anyone is an outrage!

I just chose a frame; typed in my prescription; and I placed my order. It was that easy, and the price was good.
I only buy my glasses on this site and there are so many stylish options that I buy some new ones anytime they have a good sell! Every pair ive bought have been quality and comfortable!

I had a couple questions which were answered by live chat, promptly. Then had a question about a previous order in which I made a mistake on the prescription. The customer service person made it "right" for me, even though I was the one who made the mistake on the prescription. Love this company!
Great feature to try it on, i didn't notice that they offer a 14-day return policy.
I went with warby parker 5's try ons but when comparing the prices. EyeBuyDirect was by far affordable and had basically the same frames.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
