The web site is very balky. At first I thought it was because I have an iMac and use safari browser but this recent order was placed with Crome and I had to 'page back' after every selection because the screen would always return to the home page. A real PITA if you get my point.

Selections are easy to see and the "try on" feature is excellent. The prices are very good. My complaint would be that time is spent in selection of the frame and then the lens options are not all available, especially the photo lenses. I put the filters in for the frames, as well as my prescription, but when I selected a frame it said the prescription would not fit. If it is in the filter, then it should be correct when selected.
At least a dz pair over the last 5 years... all broken frames they replaced a couple but too much hassle trying to under the out of country sales $#*!.

Ever since I found out about Eye Buy Direct, I have saved SO MUCH MONEY on prescription glasses. I have a regular pair for distance, a pair with blue light protection because I sit at a computer all day, and I just purchased prescription sunglasses today that I can't wait to get in the mail! I tell everyone about Eye Buy!
This site is amazing and affordable, especially if you don't have insurance within the US! Got them in around a week and they have lots of variety in their frames! Just make sure to pick out the right measurements for your pair!
I've worn glasses my whole life and never broken a frame... yet I broke the frame I bought from EyeBuyDirect in 3 different places within the first 6 months of having them. Oh and the lenses weren't aligned properly to begin with. If you're reading this buy from a different online discount store!

I've bought several pairs of glasses from Eye Buy Direct they were great. I even referred my hygienist the other day I told her how much she could save.
Could use more color choices in some of the more popular frames. Overall a good experience though, plenty of frames & styles to choose. Website is user-friendly and the Try On' feature works well.

Greatly helpful when on a budget but much more difficult to fit certain prescriptions. Had a little trouble fiding frames that fit my prescription.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
