I only give a 2 star because of the instructions. I hate wasting my time. See below. If instructions were correct, this would be 5-star.
I read about one of the brackets being misidentified but it wasn't clear on the review. It is the middle support bracket that attaches to the pinch weld. The instructions suggest that they all go on in the same way, but the middle one is flipped, with the long end pointing to the front rather than to the rear, like the front and rear support brackets do. Very frustrating for someone like me who does not routinely do this sort of stuff. It took me an hour of fussing and holding and seeing that the holes didn't match up before I figured out to start with the center bracket and see which was correct for the holes to line up. It literally took me 15 minutes to put on the other side. The running board is otherwise great, but I'm pissed that Westin put me through such an exquisite torture and they should make this right. The center bracket and rear bracket are nearly identical, one is a bit longer, but this is not super obvious from the diagram, hence, if they were labeled, it'd be easier. Extreme Terrain should put a disclaimer on the is product so we, the customers do not suffer.

After several weeks of trying to contact Extreme Terrain through the website question submittal port, and trying to contact MorRyde through their email link (which did not work) I ordered the passenger side mount (MORryde Rotopax Side Mount; Passenger Side (18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL
Item #: J*******-JL). Both company's websites showed the same photo of the driver and passenger side mount, and I was trying to clarify the difference. What I received was a driver side mount.
I like that the customers can upload pictures of the products they install so I can see how it looks.
