These are worst guys and pathetic experience. Looks like a scam. Don't spend your money in buying policy from these guys. Call there number, no one picks up and no one responds to email. I supposed to get a refund after cancelling the policy but neither they respond to emails nor pick up the phone.

I have been trying to get an update on a claim I lodged in Jan - no one will respond to my emails, online messages or voicemails. I'm forced to take legal actor as they have my damaged phone still.
So far I am very happy with my policy. It is nice having a piece of mind since I couldn't get insurance through my carrier. This is much more affordable.

They said they sent a check for my deductible to my address on 10/28/15-nothing! Better Business Bureau could not help. Did not replace phone or refund my deductible-Steer Clear.
I originally signed up with this company because they were incredibly 'affordable' and like everyone else, hoping I'd never have to actually use it. As fate would have it, I cracked the screen on my IPhone X and sent it in to esurranty for a fix or replacement as promised. While filing the claim, they were very responsive and walked me through the process of wiping my phone clean and sending it in via pre-paid packaging. Once I shipped my phone off to them, that's when they disappeared. After almost 2wks of no communication, I emailed my assigned rep and received a phone call from an alleged manager. This scam artist told me my phone must've been lost somewhere in transit and he will see to it that I get a new iphoneX, and he even left me his direct contact number. After a couple of days, I called to inquire about the status only to find that the number he gave me was FAKE. I sent over 20 emails to my rep and never received a response. I called the customer service number on the website and it was also FAKE as it would ring endlessly. No one ever picked up despite me calling at different times on different days. As soon as I shipped my phone off, the company VANISHED. Through legal action, I was able to recoup all the money I sent them but my brand new iphoneX was a complete loss that I will never get back. I WAS A VICTIM OF THIS SCAM! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

Our toll free number is clearly listed on our site and it has been the same number for over 8 years. You may have written down the wrong number and not double checked it.
OK I have four phones covered by Esurranty and finally had to make a claim on a iPhone 6S with a cracked screen. Needless to say the claims process is quite cumbersome. After filling out the claims application online you are taken to another page to download claim forms that have to be filled out again along with a copy of your ID and a form for payment and email them with your claim number. After emailing all of this redundant stuff I waited over 48 hours for my representative to email me back. He told me that they could ship me a loaner phone for a $ 99 deposit while my phone was repaired. I emailed back stating I didn't need a loaner. Still no word yet on how to get my phone repaired. I finally took the phone to Apple repair station and had it fix for $129. Esurranty said they would reimburse me. They still deducted $75 after taxes to my credit card. Esurranty advertise that they are fast. Hardly! I will see if they send me my money or not. Needless to say I'm not to satisfied with their services.
Love the choices and prices. I have a variety of devices and it is good I can pay by the month or by the year. Don't forget to register your device or you can't use the insurance.
I needed to update my policy for new phones acquired. Angelo took care of this in short order. My 2 year policy expires in a couple of months and I look forward to renewing.

Cell phones are so expensive these days, insurance is a must to have. Having the option to replace a broken or stolen phone at a fraction of the cost is great.
Signing up wasn't too bad, but when I made a claim, it has taken forever. I turned in a claim nearly a week ago and haven't had any response back on the information I sent them.
In reviewing your policy it shows that your claim was made on an inactive policy and denied because of that. Your claim was not assigned to claims representative because there was no coverage. Monthly payment policies do not start for the first 30 days and you filed a claim within 4 days. A removal of your negative review would be warranted here since you had no coverage and chose the monthly payment option which states specifically when coverage starts and you must agree to those terms before it will let you checkout and purchase the coverage.
A wonderful alternative but, be careful and carefully consider your lifestyle if you ever need to make a claim.
Unfortunately, my phone slipped out of my hand, falling and cracking the screen. I called 4 times, left two messages, send an online claim, send a follow-up email to the claim and finally, I heard back from the manager.
I had limited options if I needed my phone. You can mail it in and takes about 3 - 5 days to repair and receive back or you can take to a BestBuy (good luck getting someone to answer the phone) or you can take it to a ubreakifix shop (waiting around 3 hours for the repair).
I live a very busy lifestyle and my phone is my personal and business line. Therefore, to be out 3 to 5 days is not an option. The only option left is to take 5 hours of my day to go fix it, pay for it, submit for reimbursement and then follow up I am sure.
As said earlier, a great option from a cost perspective, just beware of your own personal schedule and if you have the time to take to go through the repair and reimbursement process.
Set up was easy, available as a monthly payment, and everything seems great! I have not had to make a claim yet but everything is good so far and I have not had any issues.
No problems havent had to use it yet. No problems with charging thank you.
I do however have a problem with the review page requiring i submit a certain amount of letters for a review!

This organization is the worst ever in customer service. I attempted to sign up for iPhone insurance for both my wife and myself on line, but there is no way to include 2 phones on the same policy in the online site. So, I attempted to do live Chat... the live chat was not available so I had to email... I then attempted to call but again I went to message... When I complained I was told that they 'prefer' to everything via email... If that is true then, WHY THE HELL HAVE A PHONE NUMBER AND CHAT LINE!
I emailed them and told them that their service was poor and that if someone didn't call me back within 24 hrs. I would cancel my policy. Via email I was also informed how to cancel my policy... So I DID.
This company must have soooo much business that they don't need any more. So, they'll NEVER see a red cent from me. And I will tell ANYONE and EVERYONE how bad and ignorant this company's customer service is.
They did get back to me when I requested a call - but, I had to call and request a return call.
Will know about the value of this insurance if I ever need to file a claim.

You can contact the claims departments general mailbox at claimsdpt@esurranty.com and your concern will be forwarded to the claims department manager. Our claims department does not have a direct number but each claims representative has their own extension. They can choose to give that to customers, but they are not required to as it is the policy of our claims department and underwriting to converse with customers by email as it is more efficient. As I can not look at an open claim I can not give you any information about your claim. I can tell you from the past claims I have seen when there is a delay it is usually that the customer did not send in the proper documentation or there is an issue involving fraud. I am not saying that this is the case with you, but I am telling you what I have seen in the past as we have hundreds of claims per day and our claim completion/payout rate is over 93% which is 20% higher than the industry average.
Answer: No. esurranty.net was developed after a person not affiliated with the esurranty company attempted to register the domain. It was originally used only for esurance customers when esurranty had a contract with them. When esurranty cancelled that contract they kept the site operational to serve the leftover customers that didn't switch their accounts to esurranty.com.

In regards to being cost effective, we advise that a 2 year plan is usually more cost effective as the price generally go down for the coverage after the 2nd year.
