I bought a $30 game a few months ago and I installed it. Not only does it break my mouse cursor, but its also impossible to select any of the options in the settings menu to change it. Since its a few months ago, I can no longer get any of the $30 back. On top of that, I can't even take screenshots to prove the mouse glitch so you will just have to take my word for it.
In conclusion, if you want to buy games, just use steam. I've never experienced any problem like that with steam and it is very reliable.

I spent over 5 hours online with Epic as my sons Vbucks cards went into my account rather than his. I was given a dozen excuses why they could not transfer them. (Amazing, they can sell them, redeem them and they have no way to transfer them to another profile on the same account.) First rep told me to call Xbox and maybe they could help, I called Xbox and they referred me back to Epic. The second time I called the woman that helped me cut off the conversation after I told her this was ridiculous (all this time spent for a simple transaction they could have handled in 3 minutes). I would stay away from this company at all costs. A complete waste of time and it shows in their reviews 1.59 stars out of five, what a joke. A ZERO in customer service and an F- in solving issues...

My friend I got the game ark free on epic game. We wanted to play on our favorite maps so we bought an ark dlc "package". After many tries and research, we find out that you can play with friend only if you are on a real serv. That means your game is still going if you're not playing and if you want to be in a private serv, you have to pay for it. So we decided to return the dlc and go play on Steam. But because we played more than 2 hours on the game we can't return it. The problem is that we were like 10 min on the dlc we bought and the rest of the time, we were on the ark menu for trying figure out how to play in our game together. This "lag" of the game on epic store is there since more than a year. They never fixed it even with a lot of requests and comment of players.

Tried multiple times to get Epic Games store to let me buy Dead Island 2, would not accept any of 3 credit cards (2 credit cards, 1 debit). Tried to download the launcher and buy through that, same issue. Guess I'll just buy it on console, and remember to listen when the internet tells you that something is god awful, they're not always wrong.

Taking advantage of kids

My son tried to setup an account for his sister. In the process somehow all of his progress an v-bucks got moved to her account. Well she did not want to play and after (this is not a joke) 16 emails back and forth with customer service they are not willing to just move things back to his account or refund him his money. The CEO should be ashamed of this lack of support for the community. These are kids and to them these silly skins and such mean a lot. Very unprofessional and lacking any empathy.

Like their games, but their website is the stupidest $#*! I have ever used. Have already sent multiple emails asking for advice and never get any help, so their service is $#*! too. Linking of devices is literally impossible so don't believe their cross-play bull$#*!. That's it, don't expect much from this brand.

Can't sign in

I tried to sign in to my Playstation after deleting my other account that had the same email and yet it still sent me to the sign up screen and now every time I try connecting it takes me to the same screen to sign up for Playstation this stuff is honestly horrible. Like all I'm trying to do is hook up my account to epic so I can do certain things but it is incredibly broken the picture proves my point because it didn't fully load yet. This is the worst website in history for game creators fix your stupid website.

Just as the title says. $#*! launcher. Connecting my steam account was a nightmare, i had to make a whole new email just to sign in. The download speed sucks but somehow throttles my entire computer? Like how is that even possible?

I spent thousands of dollars for my kid in this game. They have made the account inactive, with all the money gone. They basically are stealing money. When you can't get into a game that spent a fortune on isn't that stealing? If I could give them 0 stars I would. Total $#*! company!

Does anyone know how to get ahold of epic games by phone? My son's account was hacked he has been playing since the game came out and has so much money into the game. Epic games is telling him they cannot do nothing about it. Now I know there's others who have put a lot of money into this game so if I were u I would stop giving them ur money. If our accounts can't even be secured from hackers we no longer can trust epic games. This is stealing money and I really need help. If u have something negative to say don't bother u will be removed! Thanks for your time.

My account got inactivated only because i asked them to change my billing region.

This support Team is so useless because i sent them so many Emails and gave them all information they needed but the only thing they say is:
We carefully reviewed the account information you provided when you submitted this ticket, and found that the information does not match our records.

As much as I would like to help, I am afraid that we're unable to proceed as we were not able to verify you as the original account owner.
I appreciate your understanding.

Why just why, i gave them the right infos.

I think they dont care at all.

Banned and blocked my daughters account after spending SOOOO much money! They will not communicate with the reason why. We are very upset with the lack of support and no one aiming to rectify this situation. Please think carefully about purchasing anything from epic!

What a pain. Incredibly confusing and not user friendly at all. They need to figure out a different way to do this. I've never used something so confusing in my life re: setting up accounts/passwords, redeeming money/codes/gift cards. They make billions of dollars you'd think they could try a bit harder. Also super unacceptable that when you click on the "get started" link to redeem vbucks it doesn't even work, no matter what browser you're in.

Awful service

There are no words that can describe my frustration. I have the invoices for all the games I bought with this platform in my email and it is not possible to recover anything in my account.
The support does not work. I have had games since 2021 and my account has not worked since then. 2 years ago.

I purchased a game I only played for 3 hours(a little over half of which was paused while I researched performance issues) and politely asked for a refund. I was given a bull answer about how I exceeded their "2 hour playtime" limit to qualify for a refund. This was poor ruling on their part and I can't see wanting to use them again in the future.

I purchased a game, I read the spec requirements, did my due diligence to make sure I wasn't setting myself up for disappointment. I purchased the game, started playing it, and things went fine for the first couple hours, then I started getting crashes. No big deal, that happens from time to time, even with games that don't require a lot of CPU. But the further I got in the game, the more often the crashes occurred, eventually making this game unplayable. Since I'd "played' more than 2 hours of this broken game, they wouldn't refund my purchase. I game them the huge error list, asked them to make an exemption (something that Steam actually will do in some cases), and they just kept cutting and pasting their policy, and telling me how sorry they were. It really is amazing what they've gotten away with. Needless to say, I'll be sticking with good companies who appreciate clients, Steam has been great to me. Hopefully Epic will learn how to treat customers at some point.

I pre-ordered outer worlds for Nintendo switch. Epic games never notified me that the game had finally been released. When I realized it was available and went to download it, my download showed it was for the PC version. I emailed epic games customer service who responded that because it has been 14 days since the game was released they were not obligated to do anything for me. The game has never been downloaded, so I requested they simply apply my money to the Nintendo switch platform that I was expecting. Nope! They already had the money, so why do the right thing and help out their customers. Good for Google and Apple for booting epic games off their stores. Not hard to see why epic games had a one star average when I went to write this review. Also, the phony five star reviews are so obviously written by employees they should be embarrassed. Hey Epic, you will need to hire a LOT more people to write fake reviews to fix your crappy ratings.

Rocket league use to be my favorite game till epic games took over, you have to pay for everything now, matchmaking is worse, and the servers are absolutely awful. Sell the game to a 4 year old, they could do a better job then you.
Oh and thanks for giving the people who bought the game NOTHING. It was a good game for $20 now just cars and decals can equal that pretty quickly. Turning into the next EA. Hope yall go bankrupt

Buying online can lead to issues... it happens. So, you would expect the company to have decent customer service to help resolve them. Not EPICGames.
I got so frustrated dealing with EPICGames. When you finally get someone from customer service, they: 1. Say you didn't buy the game 2. Then they blame you for the issues you're having.
Other gaming download sites maybe more expensive, but at least they try to help.
I'll just wait one year for 'The Outer Worlds' to be available on other sites, that's if I don't find a better game sooner.
