Do not waste your time

My daughters account was hacked. I gave them all the information they wanted, screen shots of information and also the names of the persons involved and Epic still came back stating the informations was wrong or incomplete. They refuse to help if you get hacked even though they say they take this issue very seriously.

Epic Games customer service is appalling terrible and unresponsive. My son got several Fortnight vcards for Christmas. We followed the process to redeem and they never showed up in his account. I opened a ticket on 12/24 and literally didn't receive a response until a month later. They then sent another email a day later that they were closing the ticket because I didn't respond in a timely manner.

Epic games not only stole my account with tons of games, and spent so much money in it, but when I tried to recover it they either abruptly end my chat or said sorry we couldn't help in this situation not even explaining what exactly is wrong with my account. I have sent multiple emails every day and they reply to you after 10-15 emails saying the same thing "sorry blah blah". There is nowhere I can seek justice for what menial thing epic games is doing, shame on you epic games. I will warn everyone not to purchase anything from epic games.

Went on live chat to report a problem and they honestly can't tell if they're trying to help or be sarcastic, wouldn't answer the questions asked properly, the person who chatted had a 'not my problem' attitude, I ended up figuring out the issue out by myself when they could've helped.

F*ck epic games. I had an account from 2017 with over $500 spent on it that got hacked for the SECOND time and when I tried to get it back they said "we can't prove the account was yours and we can't tell you why because of security purposes." The same security purposes that let it get hacked TWICE? Absolute joke of a customer service and company

Horrible company

These people are terrible with customers and blatantly don't care for any concerns except making money. They won't answer your emails and won't answer questions and will instead divert you to online information in which doesn't help what so ever. Super glitchy games like Fortnite and others. Simply all they care about is money.

Bought game, it sucked, tried to return and was told that I couldn't because I had left it paused for too long. Literally, because I got bored and walked away from it, which kept the timer going.

I ended up canceling service and deleting account. Won't deal with them.
Went to credit card to get refund on $#*!ty game.
Steam gives refunds reasonably.

Stupid Tuesday live event

I don't know why you made the season 5 live event on a Tuesday when you know that hundreds of millions of your fortnite users have school that day since their kids.it's nonsense and it boils my blood so you should fix that if you want good reviews epic games because I've seen some bad reviews and its not looking good for you.

My ex and I both purchased V bucks for our son for Christmas, and he has been unable to redeem 100 dollars worth of V bucks and there is no number to call for support for this issue. We have written e mails to their customer service with no response. Beware! Do not buy V bucks, as we are now out 100 dollars, and have no way of getting the money back. Horrible customer service

Rocket league trading!

Why would you remove one of the best features of rocket league (trading)? Just to bring more vehicles over to other epic games... meaning fortnite? You ruined fortnite to the point I've not returned playing it. In my opinion you killed it with super powers... so I ventured off to rocket league to see you own that now also. And now you're removing things that have been in game since beginning days. A much better game than fortnite and now being slayed yet again. Why can't you just be happy ruining 1 game. I will never play another epic game again. You've disgusted me time and time again. Sadly it's time to say goodbye and delete my epic accounts and will give my best effort to take all my streamers and friends with me. Best of luck with the plummet you're about to embark on with rocket league alone. If there's one thing for sure... if there's a way to ruin something epic finds a way. And at least be curious to let us give you a lower rating than 1 because that's just being generous.

Epic is a joke

My child's account was hacked. We have epic everything they asked for and they refused to reset it back to original email. Then they stopped responding even though they have no reason not to reset it. Worst service I've ever received. Will never play epic again. F this company

They basically stole my account, I gave them all the information, but they just tell me due to security reasons we can't unlock your account. Wasn't banned nor did I delete this account so they just stole it. I'm signed in BTW just does a loop of this screen

This is the worst customer support I have ever dealt with in my life, my account got hacked, and I gave them everything my receipts, my Ip address, and even the linked accounts, at the end: they said ok no problem we will help you but in order to do that, we will send an EMAIL conformation to the first email address you created the account with! In order to verify you. I get the confirmation in my email and I approved and guess what! They came back to me after 10 hours and said I am not the owner although I approved that I am the owner. Also, another thing if you kept reaching for customer support with the same account, they will ban your account. My tip for you is to go to steam or any other company.

Considering I have been through multiple issues on Fortnite and tried contacting support to never get any assistance, it leaves me amazed. Upon leaving a match of Fortnite and returning the Menu, somehow my account purchased a Big Mouth skin that I didn't even know was in the item shop and I had just enough V-bucks available to purchase leaves me stunned. Within 15minutes of the issue, I was speaking with their customer service, who after another 15 minutes finally informed me they could not assist. They even tried saying how they understand it can be hard to return to the Menu and basically tried blaming it on me. Just thought it was an easy fix on their end but apparently, nothing ever can be fixed by them.

I purchased Assassins Creed Valhalla through them and was not sent a verification code in order to play the game. If you're gonna sell Ubisoft games on your sight please for the love of god send the people the code so they can play the game they waited forever to play and had the audacity to spend $60 through your horrible store.

Worst

One for the worst because there is no security for my account.
I login using my google account I had claimed around 65-75 games.
I didn't use my account for a month and it says wrong credentials and I contacted epic games support with a proof of discord linked with epic games and I didn't get any message back.

Stay away from Epic Games
June 10, 2022

My son had a Fortnite account for the last few years. He didn't play for a few months and when he went to log in he was reset to level one and all his inventory was gone. I reached out to customer support and they are the worst group of people ever. They informed me that there was nothing they would do and treated me as though I stole my own account. I supplied the email account several screenshots and receipts still they told me it was not my account. I am now out 400.00. They are crooks!

To be fair, I'm writing this in frustration. I had ZERO reason to download this launcher. That was until they were offering an expansion to Destiny 2 that i didn't want to pay for, so i gave it a whirl. It was playing just fine for the first two days. However, after server maintenance yesterday, it won't even launch and there's nothing for me to do but reinstall the game AGAIN...

Bad Service

Bought v bucks, redeemed using the instructions listed, got message bucks was redeemed successfully but once I went back to game the bucks did not load. I contacted customer support with a few back and forth email to rectify the matter, where in the end was told bucks was redeemed and there is nothing else that could be done.
