I bought a samsung tv from souq.com under 1 year warranty last november
After only one month the remote control stopped working,
The agent then says the accessories are not part of the warranty why? Nobody told me so
He answered: it's an internal policy, which the customer is not supposed to know, sort of after-sale surprise!
Don't EVER bother using this site, it's SCAM and cheat!

SOUQ is cheating. I paid for my item including delivery. After 3 consecutive days of receiving that my item is out for delivery - nothing happened. The worst part of it is that i received an email saying that the ticket is closed. Where is my item? You received my money and yet you dont care to deliver... i maybe one unimportant client of yours but what are you doing is not fair. If you can't deliver- just inform your client but dont update your ticket saying it was delivered already- DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM SOUQ.

I got ferrari bay carrier about 2 weeks back. Well they say it's 249 and then delivery is some 12 aed and then if you chose pay on delivery 10 extra. You pay total of 270.

Yesterday I saw the same f###@@ product and the previous price for the product was 142 and now the price is 111 AED.

Save alomst more than 100AED.

The dealers are f@@#@ shameless greedy cheats.

Don't but anything in souq.com...!

They post false promotions, which they are never able to fulfill, on 24th Nov 2016 I order a phone which was promised to be delivered in 2 days, had to continuously follow up with them only to get answer that product is with courier, and when i tried to cancle the order they said you cannot cancle the order when product comes dont accept it, unfortunately product never arrived, after many calls and emails they canceled my order on 18th December 2016, i am writing this post on 29th December 2016 and yet there are no signs of refund. Keep away from souq.com if you care about your money.

Souq.com Sucks

Slow delivery, no checks on seller on shipment. Most of the items are promised to shipped on the same day, while in reality the items was not shipped after 72 hours. Customer service have not idea why the seller did not yet shipped. To cancel the order will take more than 7 days to get your money back. Stay away from Souq. Com

Beware, do not shop from souq. Cum. Useless customer service, useless couriers. Return policy is fake. There is a chance that you can return and refund your money but it take s 1-2 months or more. For that period you'll experience the mind torture. I have a very bad experience with souq. Cum i can't believe that is its existed in UAE. All i know UAE is a brilliant country. For 5 years working and living in the UAE only from souq. Cum i experience this torture. Never again to shop online. No problem if i pay more in a retail shop it is more convenient and secure. 100% guaranteed.

After buying so many expensive items and calling so many times for warranty and for items to be fixed i have decided to share my experience with souq.com with you guys.
Items bought:

1) Gopro 5 black 1599 aed / 436usd: item should be waterproof up 10m/33ft, it leaked water as soon as i put in water into the lens making it useless. (seller refuses to answer and souq.com customer services are still telling me that they are going to put it as a priority, after 1 week they still havent called)

2) LG 55UH850V 4273 aed / 1163. 5 usd: when using remote control on apps like netflix / youtube the remote disconnects then reconnects then starts lagging making it impossible to use the app properly.( item to be returned)

3) D-link 890L Router 1000 aed /272.3 usd: the router after configuration and setup started disconnecting, wifi light kept flashing back, after many resets/reboots/hard resets firmware updates and many calls item was replaced since it was totally defective... (solved)

4) gopro 3 Black 1500 aed / 408 usd: camera works perfectly, remote doesnt hold a charge till finally remote does not charge at all. Since i use the app i did not return the item.

CANNOT TRUST ANYMORE

HAVE DELIVERED ITEMS WITH DIFFERENT SPECIFICATIONS AND TRIED TO CHEAT. THE SELLER IS AWESOME ATTITUDE AND PARIS. SHOP.

THE RETURNS POLICY IS VERY BAD, THEY DON'T IT TAKES MORE THAN ONE MONTH. STILL DON'T KNOW WHEN THE REFUND WILL BE DONE...

BETTER STAY AWAY.

Worst company ever!

I had a lot of issues with souq.com and since they are kind of a monopoly in this region I had to place order a few times. Not even once they delivered my order on time. When you have an issue such as changing the address (because they are late and I would be in office after promised delivery period which is delayed) it took them to make that change about 10 days. They send the same delivery to wrong address 3 times, and called me to pick it up. For another one, I paid extra for the same day delivery and I am still waiting for it and I am sure it won't be delivered today either. I am calling their call center and they are not picking up. The worst company I have ever seen. I will also make an official complain and even if I have to pay 3 times more, I will not buy anything from souq.com.

I also believe their inefficiency is affecting the country's reputation as well since this is a smart city and while everything is so convenient, the biggest e-commerce company is not capable of doing a decent job. There is that rumor about souq.com to be bought by amazon.com. I hope amazon.com would not make such a big mistake and ruin their image and reputation. If they do, I hope they fire every single employee and create a new organization.

Never thought that with all the negative reviews ive been reading that i myself will experience the same fate.in advance i noted on the delivery time that it should be delivered only before noon because that is the only time im available, and on the same day of delivery to ensure that souq.com is well aware of after waiting for 17 minutes on the other line they told me to contact the courier directly.and heres the drama started called the qexpress to ensure about the delivery timing call center agent twice hang up on me when i started saying that i would like to follow up my order, then i called again and the lady told me that they had sent the info to the courier driver(waited approx 2 hours) then i called again the qexpress and worst customer service ever is the lady was like reading a script "which she kept repeating for the last 3 minutes of our conversation(she kept saying im sorry mam but we cannot track the driver and ur request was submitted)wow it was request long back time before the delivery date!

Still not refund money
November 16, 2016

One month before i have bought Samsung Galaxy Tab from souq and it has vertical line on display. I returned it and seller has returned money to Souq. But they still not refund that money to me. I am calling everyday and they are telling that there is a technical error to refund. I am tired now. Even they are not reply e mail, regarding this matter. Pls anyone can tell me if they don"t refund my money(it is 745 Dh) what action can i take. Where do i complain...

Ordered Sony mobile on 28 Oct, with a confirmation it will be delivered by 1 Nov. Souq agreed to cancel as it was not delivered on 2 Nov. No after 15 days of cancellation no refund, they are telling they can't refund it they will send the item again?

They have the worst customer service ever! Useless! I am collecting the tickets numbers and always have the same answer "we are escalading it". Because of a wrong information they gave me I have been refused the warranty and now I have been chasing them to receive my device back for more than a month!

Useless customer service

This is the second time to deal with them and their customer service is simply useless and unhelpful. When you call regarding any problem they do not seem to be able to offer any kind of logistic solution. Will not bother myself dealing with them again.

Their warranty is fake, you will buy the item and if you are lucky you will not need the warranty but if you will need it then it is better to through the item becuase you will get nothing.

Avoid Souq

I have placed an order with souq.com of an item that was showing available stock (I ordered one only). The order was confirmed by Souq.com by email and SMS with a specific delivery date. Two days later I checked my account to see where the shipment is and discovered that the order is listed in my account as cancelled!. I called them and they said we are sorry but the item is out of stock! I told them but when I placed the order it said its available, they said sorry. The annoying and unethical part was that they kept my money in their bank account as available credit for me for future shopping on Souq.com! Can you believe?! I asked for an immediate reverse of the amount to my credit card account and explained to them that this behavior is illegal without prior consent of the client. Theyve never sent me an email notifying me that the order was cancelled (I was only getting emails about recommended items for me!). They held my money without my consent or even knowledge (very crooked scheme they have there). Their ecommerce information system is a total mess. Their merchants are unreliable in terms of accuracy and quality. Overall, it was an uncomfortable experience dealing with souq.com and I recommend searching for your items on eBay or Amazon, and save yourself a lot of headache dealing with such an incompetent online marketplace.

Souq Unethical problems

I'm seller on Souq. This is the worst and unprofessional website. They waste your time rejecting your items to be listed over the website. When you meet their requirements, they reject for no reason. I believe they have some business conflicts with their listed product and they want to protect. (Ethical problems)

I am Souq.com customer since 2 years, everything was ok since i was buying small items, until i decided to buy a samsung s7 edge with Warrantyfrom dod_UAE which is Souq.com seller.
After 1 month of using the phone it got damaged, i called them claiming the warranty and they responded that we will immediately activate the warranty, and waited about 10 days for the courier to show up and pickup the item and it was sent to them.
And here where the drama started between Souq.com and their service center, where service center will say it is not repairable consult with Souq.com and again souq.com will tell me we need to consult back with Service center, it is turning around this circle since 1 month and yet their no solution.
I never wrote a bad feedback about sellers, i never wasted my time to complain, but this time, i am really in a very bad situation, nothing will garantee your right, no officiel replied from them, always hearing lies and lies and lies, and simply "Sorry Sir" we know your frustration we will get back to you at the ealiest, they never got back to me if i did not call and insist to escalate the mater, and simply they reply by: Sorry sir.
So guys be careful this warranty does mean anything for these people
