NEVEER AGAIN

I ORDERED AN S3 SMART WATCH, WHEN OPENED THE PARCEL A FEW MINUTES LATER AND CHECKED IT WAS DEFECTED A BIG BLOTCH ON THE SCREEN. I CALLED IMMEDIATELY AND THE CALL CENTRE PLACED A REQUEST TO TRY AND RETURN EARLY NEXT MORNING. THE MORNING PASSED AND MANY CALLS TO THE CALL CENTRE LATER A Q EXPRESS AGENT CALLS CONFIRMING PICK UP THE NEXT DAY. I CALL THE CALL CENTRE AGAIN AND THE AGENT HAS THE CHEEK TO TELL ME TO CHECK THE POLICY OF SOUQ ON THE WEBSITE.
I PAID FOR SAME DAY PURCHASE, BUT EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS A GOOF UP IN THE ORDER, THEYRE NOT INTRESTED IN PRIOTORISING THE PICK UP. IM ALSO INFORMED THAT IN CASE THE SUPPLIER FEELS LIKE THE PRODUCT WAS DAMANGED ON MY END, I WOULDNT BE REFUNDED AND THAT THE DEFECTED PRODUCT WOULD BE RETURNED TO ME.
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN THE TIME IVE RETURNED THE ITEM TO THE QEXPRESS RIGHT TILL IT REACHES THE SUPPLIER. MY MONEY IS STUCK NOW AND WHAT A MISTAKE IT WAS TO PURCHASE FROM HERE. MORAL OF ALL OF THIS: TRYING TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS WILL ALWAYS LAND YOU IN A MESS.

I ordered a mobile phone on souq.com order number ************** amounting to 943 AED which should be around 940 QAR ( 1 AED=. 99 QAR)
But they are charging me 979 QAR? I emailed asking why is it so high when it should be lower since Qatar Riyal has a bigger value in exchange than UAE Dirhams. An agent said NO, AED has bigger value than QAR.
I sent at least 4 emails asking the same but no one got back to me and felt like no one cares about my query.

Today 9th of May, I called their customer service at 09:07 am (international call from Qatar) and this guy named Odei or Ode, was rude and sarcastic answering my queries. I asked for a supervisor and right away told me that no one is available. I asked him to get me a supervisor within the next hour but was answered back that he is going to do his best to have someone talk to me. REALLY? And what irritates me more is when he asked me to call again! I am doing an international call and he didn't even have the initiative to say that someone will get back to me instead of asking me to call again!

This website doesn't deserve any stars and doesn't deserve to exist as working website. I did the mistake to order 3 orders and with all of the 3 I had problem. First the expected delivery date is just an date that doesn't mean anything for them, they are wasting your time to stay at the address and wait for them but they will come after 2-3 days and will never even inform you. When I called the delivery company to ask for information they give me explanation that they are very busy and the expected delivery date is just an estimate but not certain. They give me such an attitude on the phone, like how dare to call and bother them for such and issues. After sending complaint email to service center no respond at all. Second the website is charging you delivery fee for each order but the delivery company is waiting for all of them to be recived in their warehouse and then they deliver to the address, using one time delivery only. Third issue is that one of the order was cancelled by their site with no explanation or anything. They promised to refund the full amount of money but unfortunately... not really. Still waiting for the missing amount to be refunded. In general horrible customer service and horrible shopping experience. I will not come back as customer and will never recommend! This website is nothing close to the leading online shopping websites and should be closed down for business. AVOID!

I have made the biggest mistake: ordered Mini notebook Dell Inspiration 3162 -Intel Celeron N3050, 1, 6Ghz, 2 gb, 32 gb, 11.6inch, Win 10, white which arrived WITHOUT WARRANTY, MANUAL BOOK FOR THE PRODUCT, ORIGINAL PACKAGE AND CHARGER. I have called customer service right after I discovered they brought me a complete FORGERY and after 15 minutes of conversation with absolutely dumb uneducated people trying to explain the situation they promised to refund money after picking up the item. They picked up the item AS IT WAS DELIVERED ORIGINALLY, but after 4 days they sent an email that their PHONY SELLER refused to make a refund and has sent the item back to us! The battle will continue and we will not leave this as it is! SOUQ. COM beyond any bad description. They are LIARS and they sell FAKE ITEMS. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

They are all bunch of lairs and thieves. When you buy any thing check twice before buy because they have sellers who are misleading people into thinking they sell new items but they will sell you used and broken items

I paid for same day delivery. The 3rd party they use for shipping calls me to ask for address very late at night and promises a delivery the day after. Then calls again the day after to ask again for address. Finally delivered 2 days after the delivery and no refund from Souk on the extra delivery cost. Very bad customer service. Nothing compared with Amazon customer service.

FAKE NYX LIPSTICK

Long back I had bought a liquid lipstick, from NYX, named monte carlo, from souq.com.
But it was fake!
I went to a near-by beauty supply store a few days later and realized that the real NYX lipstick, monte carlo, is completely different from the one I purchased from Souq. Really disappointed with this!

I am shocked, on how matters are being dealt with from souq.com, Robotic replies add completely false information to get you out of the line as soon as possible!

Please do not buy from here! Any visit to any selling surface is much better than spending a one hour on the phone to resolve delivery issues and other issue about products

Wow, I'm just shocked by the appalling customer service I encountered for my souq.com order. A company called Q-express delivers the packages, and is who you ultimately deal with in delivery (probably the most important part of an online shopping service).
The woman who called me to confirm my address was busy chatting with a friend, hence not listening very well to the answers to her questions. The friend continued to try to speak with her. I said her behavior is rather unprofessional, and asked for her name. She then refused to give me her name, tried to hang up without even telling me when to expect my delivery, then told me she will ONLY stay on the line to finish her job if I speak to her as she would like. She finally told me I can file a complaint with customer service, and as I asked her for the phone number to do so, she hung up. She was unapologetic, unprofessional, and only conditionally fulfilled her job. Just wow. Alisa's job is literally to represent the company to customers, as CUSTOMER service, and I'm not impressed. It reflects badly on her company and also the company's partner, souq.com. Even with all the upgrades souq.com is making themselves, an unprofessional courier service partner makes these efforts rather pointless.

Souq.com is such a scam. They send you messages that your ordered item will be delivered on a set date, then there is no delivery. I had already called 3 times and the customer service people keep saying the seller has not responded. All this time my credit card was charged for the item. The even had the cheek to say that I can cancel my order and the amount will be reversed in 7 business days. Best to avoid this scam site.

Have recently bought a 5mm Magnetic Balls costing 67 AED Which has already discoloured I wrote a review to Souq however they don't take criticism positively and did not publish the review terming it as a complaint and yes it was A complaint. Since I did not receive the product that was displayed on the picture and in the side road at the time is received was made to smaller less then a thumb nail do yourself a favour and do not purchase from these CROOKS not for the price and horrible customer service

Horrible customer service

I wanted to buy a fidget cube, the delivery was supposed to be yesterday but still has not came, I called them telling the problem and told me that the seller still has the item and that they will contact the seller, fair enough, but to my luck the seller did not respond, so the man said that they will try to see the problem and try contacting the seller yada yada. SO they sent me a mail of the ticket and said that "Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. We are currently working on your query and one of our customer care representatives will contact you shortly. Thank You, Customer Care Team" after hours I have never heard anything from them.

Ordered, paid, got it superfast. This is where the positives end. Screen was shattered. Phoned customer support who only connected my call in about 15 mins. They wanted to send a courier pick it up and then I would get refund. My idea was that the same courier should bring the same item and just swap like for like. Apparently such survice wasn't available. Probably because it makes a lot of sense. I told them their services suck.
I think I'll be sticking to Amazon and eBay for a while.

Great Customer Service

I ordered many items from souq.com (phone case, bed sheets, kitchen utensils) and only once had to return what I purchased. It was air tight kitchen containers. Although everything was ok I wasn't satisfied with the "air-tight" feature. I contacted Customer Service who was very helpful and understanding. They told me someone will pick up my item and I will get a full refund. I was actually amazed at how fast this happened. I believe they are getting much better and really trying to keep their customers happy. I will buy again.

They refused to allow us to upload 3000+ items. Why? Because we sell used products. After several attempts, not a single agent agreed or even bothered to understand what we sell. They just repeat what their silly policy says like zombies. Despite having a $#*! load of other sellers selling other used items.

We sell highly sought after retro gaming collectibles. They are not easy to find in the region. They are expensive/rare used and 10 times more expensive/rare brand new. Telling them that we serve over 500 customers through our channels on a monthly basis to one of their account managers was pointless. Worst salesman I've ever met.

We have distribution contracts with the countries biggest retail/real estate developer that love what we offer and love having us in their consignment stores. It was an absolute disgrace having to deal with Souq.com customer service agents.

No wonder Amazon didn't acquire them. What a joke.
