BUNCH OF CROOKS
Booking dates changed in mid-stream of booking. I typed in June 11-28 and by the time the booking was completed the booking dates reverted back to the June 4-9 default. I cancelled the booking immediately when error discovered in reviewing booking email. Company REFUSES to refund $526.22 CAD because cancellation was withing 48 hours of pick-up. However, it was THEIR SYSTEM THAT MESSED UP THE DATES leaving me no recourse but to cancel the booking.
Site com tarifas bastantes boas em termos de qualidade/preço. Deveriam ter maior poder negocial junto das locadoras para que facilitassem a vida aos clientes. No nosso caso o primeiro condutor era do Porto e o segundo era de Vila Real. Na Guerin de Vila Real não aceitaram a activação condicionada do contrato com a apresentação dos documentos do segundo condutor. Teve que se deslocar propositadamente ao aeroporto do Porto para entregar os respectivos documentos. Nada prático e extremamente incomodo.
J'ai loué une auto du 31 juillet au 21 aout 2022 chez Klass Wagen à Bucharest par l'entremise de EconomyBookings. J'ai payé 400 $ pour la reservation et d'autres assurances pour l'auto question d'avoir la tête tranquille. Arrivée à la déstination on nous informe que les frais payés, l'argent pour la reservation ainsi que pour l'assurance = 0, arnac. On a du tout repayé.
Maintenant je ne sais plus a qui la faute, Klass Wagen jette la faute sur Economy Booking, mais je pause une question:
KlassWagen si vous respectez vos clients pourquoi faites vous affaire avec ses arnacoeurs?
Pour les gens qui ont toujours le goût de faire affaire avec EconomyBookings tenter d'appeler et parler avec quelqu'un. Impossible, seulement une boite vocale qui parle dans je ne sais pas quelle langue. Aucun service. Sauvez vous et ne jamais tenter l'experience.

Paid for a reservation with full coverage but when you're about to pick up the car, the rental agent ask for 500$ for protection +3000$ for deposit.
The cover has been paid with ecnomybooking.com but the YORK CAR RENTAL agent don't want to print the contract to show what he explain. You have to pay if you want to see a contract. Never seen this before in Canada! I can't believe that it's could happen nowadays!
Economybooking can't help you! They offer to do an other reservation with an other new payment.
You can join the financial service only by mail!
Please read the contions on their website! No refunds in this case! All the rental fees are kept!

In my first time using Economy Bookings I got a full sized car at Hertz for a great price. Hertz is usually overpriced but it is well located in Terminal 1 in Toronto. I'll definitely try Economy Bookings again when I need a rental car.
I wish I had never used this website. I prepaid for a car and insurance prior to my arrival. When I arrived to pick up the car in Brazil the car wasn't available leaving my wife and one year old twins without transportation in a foreign country. Economy bookings kept my money and did not deliver any services whatsoever. They refused to provide a refund. I now understand why they only have a rating of 1.1 out of 5 with the better business bureau. Please head my warning and do not trust this website. They will only take your money and not deliver.

Utterly appalling. They charged me considerably more than the actual fee from the car hire company, and were completely useless and uninterested when I tried to get the difference refunded. Each time I went back to them they came up with a different excuse, none of which had any validity, and then just stopped responding altogether. Basically they're a bunch of crooks and I strongly recommend you don't go anywhere near them.

I was charged for a rental which I booked. I must have made a mistake and selected the wrong city. I could not cancel or make a reservation change as it was the weekend. I sent an email to support to cancel and change the city and no correspondence to date. This was May 16th 2022. They charged me the full amount. I have sent multiple emails to dispute this and still not a peep back. Also, I am learning I have another charge Aug 4th for the same amount. I did not book anything. I have since cancelled my card and have the financial institution investigating so I can recoup my funds. This is over $1000 CAD I have had tied up with Economy Bookings.
They are not reputable. They will become insolvent in a matter of time once the scamming catches up with them, This is absolutely deplorable. I cant even believe it!

Booking was unclear. Price indicated as CAD but I was charged in euros.
I booked under free cancellation, but when I went to my online account to cancel, there was a cancellation fee. Followup emails to clarify cancellation policy were not helpful.
When I forwarded a copy of my original confirmation clearly stating free cancellation, they did not apologize nor offer to correct my online account. To date I have not had to cancel, but I'm not certain that they would honour the original agreement.
I value straightforward business practices, so I will steer clear from this company in the future due to underwhelming customer service, dodgy practices and lack of transparency.

I was in Vegas for a week and selected Fox rent a car because the overall price was much better than competitors. Much better. I had no issues with any part of the car and I had no issues with the check-in, check out process. The only thing I did not like was that the company representatives said that their shuttle ran from their location to the Rent-A-Car center every 10 to 15 minutes, when in fact they were every 25 to 30 minutes. Also when I picked up the car, the representative told me that they had a shuttle bus "to the airport" when in fact it was a shuttle bus back to the Rent-A-Car center. Had I known it was a shuttle bus back to the Rent-A-Car center and then we had to take another shuttle bus to the airport, I would've left about 30 minutes earlier. We were very tight on time to catch our flight because of that.
Company tiol now after more than 30 days from refund issed not received my money back although bank checked any transaction but they didn't received, I guess if you booked without cancellation is fine but to cancel booking and get the refund here is the problem
Please don't book online with this company. You won't be able to get the rental car at the pick up place. They will be more high hiding fees/charges when you arrive to pick up the car. No refunds. They also sale full time insurance for the time of rental. This insurance is not enough coverage, even adding your credit card coverage. The rental company will charge a high insurance policy that at the end you lose what you had paid using this economy booking company. If you need a car rental deal with the direct rental car company. Do not use this company you will lose your money.

Very helpful staff but had to wait for them over an hour as they went home when we arrived. They never saw our message explaining that we will be late. Staff at the desk really helpful and pleased with the car.

I had to cancel my booking due to a change in travel dates. I went online to cancel my reservation and saw that there would be a charge for the cancellation, even though when I booked it was a free cancellation. I called the company and was reassured that I would not be charged a cancellation fee. So i went ahead with my booking and now when double checking the email I received (after waiting for 2 weeks for the money to be sent back to be already) I saw that I was charged a 50GBP cancellation fee even though I was told multiple times that this would not happen. There is no email and I have been trying to reach someone in the call center for hours now. Would not recommend booking with this company at all.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
