A very fair price for a virtually new car. Good sized suv for the week. Picked us up from door at Darwin Airport Hotel. Very good efficient staff who were very helpful & friendly Credit to their company. Wouldn't hesitate to use this company next time I visit Australia. Cheers girls
This is the worst service ever. I made the reservation for an SUV in Dubai and I paid extra to buy the protection plan. However due to some medical emergency I had to return from the airport and I missed the flight. I was really frustrated with the situation on the way home. I came home from the airport and made a call to cancel the car reservation and they said its already past the time so they cannot cancel in spite of the protection plan. I paid 1000 dollars all gone with no refund.
I have never seen bigger scammers than this. STAY AWAY

1. We booked a car for 2 days the 20th of Oct. Total €166. We got an email confirmation for €266. We call to complain and been told we did not click off the check mark to decline the extra insurance and additional scam-extras like road side assistance ext… We did! They just somehow reappeared when I booked an additional driver.
The credit back of this extra €100, will be credited only in 3-4 week.
2. Email confirming we been charged only €21.40 now and the rest of money will be paid at car rental. They charged us FULL amount Right away.
3. We came to pick up the car on 20th, we found out suddenly it only booked for the 21st. No cars for us.
We called and been told our only option now is to cancel with a €21.40 fee. I said ok.
4. We got an email right away: Your refund has been calculated as follows:
• Cancellation fee: 116.40 EUR
• Refundable amount: 0.00 EUR
Called back and they have no explanation.
Asked to speak to a manager and been told it's done only via emaiL. They will reply in 3-5 days…

The customer service with this company is awful when you call in with an issue. The people on the phone all say something different and cut you off or hang up in you. The fees are very high compared to other companies. I do not recommend using economy bookings to book a car there are many other better services to use

A very terrible thing happened to my family on October 8 when we arrived at the rental car company (MEX or +MAS)) in Cancun airport area at 5pm. I paid already and showed the rental car voucher. After waiting for 2.5 hours in the rental car company (MEX or +MAS), they rejected us because they said that EconomyBookings don't pay them. The manager of the rental car company is Jonathan Velazquez. He is the one rejected the rental car service.
My family and I ended up having no car and had to arranged our own transportation from Cancun and go to our hotel in Playa del Carmen. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm.
I called EconomyBookings the next day. They said they need 5 to 28 days to do investigation. They received money fast, but did not provide the service.

We did not get the car we expected. We paid for full insurance and it turn out worth nothing. At the desk we were not told that the only insurance possible is for very minor damages like the windshield.
Someone broke our side mirror. We left the photo of the hitting car at the renting desk, had full insurance and still had to pay for the damage.
Will never use EuropeCar again.

BEWARE! A SCAM: I booked a rental car 4 months in advance and with a prepaid deposit. When I arrived at the airport, there was no car for me (written confirmation by Enterprise). I spent another 3 hours trying to get a solution. I finally paid double with another rental company. One month, some bad reviews and hundreds of mails later Just got my 30€ prepayment back. I spent more than 260€ on extracosts over my booking! I am still complaining...

I had to cancel my booking with them. This was done early enough to receive a full refund.
They, however, conveniently delayed carrying out my instructions and then refused to issue my refund as I was too late.

When booking through their website, please note that the full coverage insurance is through this company, not the rental company.
So any damages incurred, you will STILL have to pay to the rental company and then reach out Economy Bookings for claim reimbursement.
But there's no number to call and they take very long to respond to you. You may never get reimbursed.
Rent the car and ask for coverage at the rental desk, never ever online!

I'm not impressed with this company. They do not have "live" customer service once you book your reservation. I need to cancel a reservation because there is a hurricane in the area (Ft. Myers). So far, they've canceled the reservation and charged me over a $140 cancellation fee! I've emailed their post reservation support (*******@bookinggroup.com), still waiting for a response. Fingers crossed they waive this cancellation fee.

This is a third party agency that arranges rentals though other companies without knowing anything about their policies. They do not give refunds when you arrive to pick up your rental and learn that there are additional fees over $100. I had to dispute their charge with my credit card company.

They seem to be running a scam (at least in the Canary Islands, where I made a booking) where they let you make a booking with a Debit card, but will refuse to give you a car on the day you attempt to get it if you don't provide a Credit card (even if your card support pre-authorisation), UNLESS you buy there overpriced insurance (which in my case, I did not need since I already paid for one with EconomyBookings.com). Tripled the price of my booking, for a very beat-up car. For this price, I could have had a nice car at their competitors.

My sister and dad went to a trip in New York my sister did not have her Have a credit card in her name they refuse to rent to my my sister and father. Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
