The car was exactly as we booked, new, clean. Just in case, I walked around the camera to remove and mark all the scratches and dents, there were quite a few of them.

On July 3,2023, I reserved an Opel Corsa car for 2 days on the ebooking site. The price displayed was €59.14. Ebooking made me prepay €40.54 when booking and I had to pay €18.60 when picking up the car.
When I arrived at Firefly they told me that my reservation at 59.14 from Ebooking they did not take it into account because they did not have an agreement with ebooking.
Result Firfly charged me €150.70 in addition to the $40.54 I had paid for the reservation.
The biggest scam of the year 2023 plus this site is based in Latvia. So, a bunch of scammers who have the door open to make money by making false reservations
Don't book your car from EconomyBookings! They say "Total to pay on arrival" is not the total truth. I had to pay an extra $40.00 for taxes and fees when I went to collect the rental car. Also, EconomyBookings asked me to make a prepayment when I booked. I paid $16.87 which I thought was part payment for my rental. NOT! At the car rental, I found this payment was a charge by EconomyBookings for booking though them. Dishonest tactic!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IT IS A SCAM! We booked a car a month prior to the trip through the site. We showed up at the airport in Riga where we were told by Enterprise that no car is available. Speaking to Economybookings customer service, they simply said that "something must have gone wrong, fill out a form and you will get refunded". Please note that we had received a confirmation email and money had been drawn from our card already. Following the incident, we filed a form that took 5 days to get a reply to. The company did refund the money but offered nothing else as compensation (the car we managed to book on site in Riga was 2.5x as expensive). Worst I have been treated as a customer.

I had to cancel my rental car because when I got to the airport the line wrapped around the building. I was told it was three hour and 45 minute wait. Being by myself with my luggage I was unable to use the restroom so I had to get out of line. I did not want to start at the end of the line again. I am 60 years old and believe this was unacceptable waiting time. I will continue to fight for a refund. It also would be helpful if you could talk to a person but there is no customer service for refunds. This is some type of robbery for my $540. I also believe any good reviews coming from this site are not legit.

When I paid for a VW Polo automatic at Edinburgh airport 09 to 13 June and got a Fiat 500 instead I tried to communicate with them. I have been trying ever since, but they do not have any proper customer service. They just have some people telling me from time to time that they need more time to sort this out. They have ben doing this since my first message to them about this on 12 June. Do not ever use this company. I don't know how they can be allowed to operate this way.
They (EconomicBooking + Thrifty) took your full payment but no rental car was provided due to flight delay. The flight was from Toronto to Newark. And the rental car payment was for 6 days. When I come to Thrifty counter in my next flight for the car, they told me the reservation was cancelled but can have a new rental without refund the money from my current booking. This is unjust business practice by any terms.

They are scammers. They took my booking, I cancelled in 1 hour because what they confirmed in the booking was not what they advertised. Its been 26 days and I still haven't got my refund back. (They charged me the whole amount!). Now I have to dispute with my Credit Card and fight this charge. Waste of time and money.

I have made a booking online from EconomyBookings.com but cancelled next day and wanted my full refund but still haven't received anything after 3 months of waiting and in there policy it states that I will get a full refund from 3 to 5 days? I have emailed them and called them so many times but they just won't refund me my money. I had a pretty flawless experience with Economybookings. The car was ready on-time, the tank full, got the 4-door I needed with an automatic transmission (a must for this American driving in Australia!). The only minor drawback was the GPS I rented. It was outdated and added an additional $11.50 per day to the rental. Otherwise, not a worry to be had.
I had a rental with Thrifty through EconomyBookings. Received an upgrade to a Nissan Kicks, which was a very clean and comfortable vehicle.
Only downside was the washer bottle was completely empty!
Price was half what the major rental companies were charging for the same dates, including Thrifty!

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
