I have been renting from Economy Bookings for over a Year. I have a car as we speak in Jamaica for January. I have been completely satisfied with their competitive pricing available. I do look at other Apps but so far this company is the best! I rented a car for Hawaii and after hearing on the news that it was hard to rent a car, I tried with Economy Bookings and NO Problem. I even booked a car the night before for a day rental on another Island and same great results.
I went to this EconomyBookings office as the Wallington office only had tiny or huge cars. This office, with its limited parking and prior reservations, gladly helped me exchange the Chevy Tahoe for a much more reasonably sized vehicle.

Using Economy bookings for my car rental in Portugal was very simple for me to use. When we got to counter for EuropCar, at the Lisbon airport, all we had to do was put input our card to charge for incidentals and we were on our way. There was some initial confusion with our reservation from those working the counter because we were automatically upgraded and all the coverages were automatically applied. I highly recommend using this service going forward.

Many calls and emails unanswered, when you do get through its to Latvia on a premium rate number and after holding >30 minutes. Heard lots of excuses, basically they dont want to pay out. Latest is my claim has apparently been approved but may take up to 28 days to be processed which takes me to 90 days. Arrived at airport around 11pm and found the customer representative to be very professional and courteous for this period. Explained everything in detail without pushing or selling additional options which was very delightful. Entire process took about less than 15 minutes. The return process was even quicker with also friendly service. An overall a good experience.
I made a car rental reservation through EconomyBookings.com and they immediately charged my credit card $132.00, which was fine. However, emergency surgery forced me to cancel my trip. I cancelled the rental car about (17 days before the proposed pick up date). When I cancelled, they said about 30 calendar days, I would get a full refund. However, it took about two months to get my refund, and I had to call and email them about 10 times to get it. They kept referring me to rentalcars.com, which was not where I booked my car. Anyway, when they finally did give me a refund, they only gave me back $91. When I inquired about the remaining $41, they never returned my calls or emails. Very, very poor customer service, and the entire incident made me feel like I was dealing with an unethical company. I will never use them again.
Do not make a reservation from this website. Because even if you make the cancellation on time and in accordance with the rules, they do not refund your payment, they keep it in a place they call "Wallet".

It was a pleasure to deal with this company. From the moment of booking to pick up and drop off I was provided with excellent service. I booked the car a lot in advance, about half-year before going to California, and during this period I needed to ask economybookings.com questions regarding my booking and got answers within an hour after I sent them by email, which was surprisingly fast. As for the rental itself, I did not have to wait at the Alamo desk at the Los Angeles airport, because there was no queue and the staff was very helpful. The car was almost new – 7,000 mls mileage – clean and in great condition. I would recommend this company to anyone. Iew if you are affiliated or have a conflict of interest with this website.

After 21 days, I contacted them using a form in their website, I was told that it could take 48h for them to reply. After 2 days without hearing from them I tried to reach through their Facebook and email... No reply. Today I tried to call them just to figure out their support phone number is just a (very buggy) system with pre-recorded messages without any agent on the other side.

I had a great experience with EconomyBookings. The staff were very friendly. I even got a couple of upgrades for free. I would recommend Alamo to anyone who's looking to rent a car from O'Hare Airport. A bonus about the location is that returning the rental is convenient since it's 24-hours (I think this is true).
Economy bookings has taken customer avoidance to a whole new level. You can't get customer service. You call and they just give you automated garbage. The only way I can deal with them giving me zero refund for my early cancellation is to email them and they get back to me in 7 to 10 business days. I feel disregarded and even disrespected by a totally automated customer service line and can't believe their system sometimes my free cancellation and but gave me nothing back. What a terrible experience! You guys owe me and you know it. AND guess what! When you go to submit this form they are going to try to get your facebook account so they can scrape your data!

We were making reservations for an upcoming trip and came across a decent deal on a rental car. We tried booking and got an error that they couldn't process the payment. Upon calling the bank, the card was flagged, not because of the company, but because we had made multiple reservations for car and hotel in 2 different states we're visiting. They unlocked the account and I tried to call Economy Bookings to learn they're based in Europe. I'm so thankful that our reservation didn't go through. I didn't think to look them up, as we were going through the Sky Scanner website. Looks like nobody has anything good to say about them! Wish I had thought to look them up first, but assumed they were reputable! Next time I'll definitely do my research!

Booked a Car for Noleggiare at Rome, Leonardo da Vinci for 12 days of use.
System failed to show our booking, no info whatsoever. Did not get any sort of communication or cancellation message from EconomyBookings. Tried calling support, they answered me twice and proceed not to help me in any way. The support just told to send an email when I'm standing there at the rental.
Also found out that the booked car model was not even existing at the rental.
Afterwards the customer support was poor. Very slow replies through email and unwilling to cooperate.
Stole 160€ from me and tried their best to ruin our trip. Can't recommend.
Ended up booking from a competitor and received much better results, you should do the same.

They've always done me right. No red tape about having a major credit card. Cash and debit cards are just fine by them. I was in a bind when a franchise car rental center changed their policy and decided prepaid cards weren't good enough.
I rented a van for 7 passengers for pick-up in Izmir on April 6. A man showed-up with a small 5 person car, indicating that this was all they had. I did not accept it. They promised to solve in 5 days and it has been 45 days, and silence. They are just waiting for me to get tired and give up. CROOKS!

I booked a car thru economy bookings for Thrifty car rentals in July 2020 for pick up at Houston hobby airport. Had to cancel due to emergency surgery. I cancelled three weeks ahead of time and ask for my refund. The first response was that Economy booking would charge a $100.00 cancellation fee but my remaining refund would take 90 days to receive. Yesterday Economy booking said they are no longer refunding money but will send a voucher instead that can be used for two years. They are using covid as an excuse to no longer refund customers money. Whatever you do don't get caught up with this scam company. They are headquartered in Latvia. Thrifty car rental will not help you at all.
