Be careful with international rentals. The price Failed to include mandatory 3rd party liability that was itself more per day than the actual car rental cost. Obviously we only discovered this at the desk once we had already been billed for the booking.
Booked a car in Barcelona at 10pm. The listing made no mention of the after-hours 60 EUR charge from 10 pm onward and provided the wrong telephone contact info.
I Immediately used their site to search if there was any difference in price between opening hours and after-hours for another day, and found none at ALL!

E. every single one of you poor individuals like me that gave the one star). My one crumb of comfort is that the 5 star ratings on here are so obviously fraudulent it's actually quite amusing. Posts from standard English names within the UK but they write in broken English?!? www.economybookings.com can't even get a fake review right!
We rented a car through economybooking and the rental car company booked through this site was unable to find our booking. I reported this to economy booking through email and have yet to hear back from them. My booking was done two days in advanced, I could not risk not having a car. I cancelled my booking and was refunded nothing. Awful.

Went to payless car rentals to pick up the car which i booked from this site and they said the Booking number is Invalid. Tried calling economy bookings customer service, they are not available till 3am est next day morning, answered after keeping me on hold for 20 min at 3.30 am(then they where so rude) and when I asked them on how to raise a complaint they just said me "Go write a review on our website"

One star is already one too many! I booked a car on 1 March and cancelled the same day. I immediately received a confirmation email promising a full refund within 5-21 days. It is now 125 days and more than 12 emails later. Economy are now claiming no-repayment due to Covid-19. My claim and their agreement was before the WHO declared a pandemic on 11 March and unrelated. Shameful. I shall not give up however. I am instigating legal proceedings and intend to publish concerns on as many sites as possible. Intend to pursue them by all means possible... I suggest all the hundreds of others who have had similar bad treatment do the same.
I took out full coverage insurance with Economy bookings. The windshield of the hire car cracked during the hire period. After discussion with Economy bookings I paid for the repair at $434 directly and after returning the hire car I submitted the claim on line around 21st October 22. Now,it is 27th November and I have received no response or acknowledgement to my claim. It is impossible to speak / receive e-mail responses from anyone who deals with claims. Use this company at your peril!

Booked a prepaid car from this company right before Christmas through Priceline. When I got to the Thrifty car rental counter I find that my card company flagged the charge as fraud and the cost is showing as "pending." I notify my card company and they remove the flag. I then call Economy Bookings and find their business closed with no one to help resolve the situation from their end (the "pending" and not processed charge for the prepaid rental). I then contact Priceline. Priceline tries to contact them as well but is also unsuccessful. Priceline then cancels the reservation so that I can rent from another company. Despite the cancelation and valid dispute, Economy Bookings charged my card for the week long rental and has refused to refund my money. Do not be a victim of paying for a good or service you did not receive as I have been. I am still fighting to have this charge removed from my account! They do not deserve your business!

They did not inform me about the type of cards that are accepted when booking a car; I have only discovered this after I received the rental voucher.
I called and had to cancel the rental since I did not have the type of card accepted (which the clerk omitted to inform me about when I booked the car); since the cancellation occurred because they misinformed me, I was supposed to be refunded full amount, but Economy Bookings not only did not, but every phone call i made in this respect was never answered.

You can get a voucher for future travel, but I don't want to ever use this company again. Refusal to honor their cancellation policy is very dishonest.

Our credit card was charged more than we were quoted, with no upgrades or explanation. Customer Service at Economy Bookings, failed to provide an explanation, or deal with the over billing. Would not use Economy Bookings again, or recommend them to anybody else.
