Alfredo, the shuttle driver, was awesome. Knew his repeat customers by name and made the 10 min drive to the rental lot pleasureable. We got upgraded which is always nice but even our price on the original vehicle was great value!
AVOID EcomonyBookings. Cancelled a booking in February well in advance and still waiting for a refund. Initially the wait was 5-21 business days and now it's 45-90 days. Not even sure I can count on getting this money back. Impossible to get thru to customer service, every tree option for the U. S number basically ends the call.
Company tiol now after more than 30 days from refund issed not received my money back although bank checked any transaction but they didn't received, I guess if you booked without cancellation is fine but to cancel booking and get the refund here is the problem
This business offers you low prices however takes you to locations far from airport after waiting too lung for transportation, then once you are there they give you old high low value cars and force you buy their overprices insurance if you do not have one they want. They do not accept rental car coverage offered by Credit cards!

When booking using any other site than the actual rental site, always use PayPal, and if that is not an option, don't do it. My license was suspended, and I did not know, so I could not get my rental; yet when I called in, no one could help me with my refund. They gave me an email address, and 3 days later, still no response about my refund. They stole my money.

Great staff, always hard working and respectful. I was having my car serviced and was given a rental car from this EconomyBookings. Although the wait time was longer than expected, I still give this place 5 stars for their customer service.
I changed my booking and was charged the full amount in advance despite not authorising this and being told it was pay on arrival. I had to change the booking again and instead of transferring the money already paid they said I would get a refund and pay on arrival. I'm still waiting for my refund over a month since being told I would get one and subsequent emails have been ignored! Awful customer service will raise an investigation with my bank against them to get my refund!
I booked a car through them and upon reaching the renter location, I was denied a car since I had an Indian driving licence. This was not mentioned when they took my money. I have written mails to their *******@bookinggroup.com but received only an auto generated email. What kind of customer service is this? We at least expect a reply of what's happening. Car provided by Hertrz was great plus an upgrade free of charge. Price good, took the lowest price returned and not disappointed. Still retain all photos of returned vehicle should there be any queries arise.
We made a booking through them but when we got to our destination there was no insurance on the car despite us applying for full coverage. The car rental company then added their own high cost insurance coverage.
The car we received was old and tiny - nothing like an equivalent to a Ford Focus that was ordered - got a Chevrolet Spark that had seen many better days.
Upon returning home and trying to sort it out, the emails were very delayed, with very poor English and no explanation of what happened. Ended up paying nearly $1000NZD for 4 days driving a Chevrolet Spark!

Here's the thing. I booked online with Economy Bookings. I had to reschedule pickup. I called Dollar and got information about changing pickup dates and how it affects my final bill. Then I was told to call Economy to make the final schedule. Economy told me to call Dollar back and let them know they gave me a cost figure that's too high. Economy gave me a better price. The car was fine and rules for the rental are easily read online. I only had trouble with Economy and Dollar being on the same page. Maybe there should be cross training because trying to accomplish renting really takes talking to 2 different businesses.
I booked with my partner's credit card for the booking and then could not use this card at the desk. Could not use a visa debit card in my name. Was not allowed to take the booking and rental car. Could not change the name of booking to partner. Very unfair rules, how do you accept payment from a card but not allow the same card to be used for pick up? No flexibility and consumer gets stuck with no option. Never again and feel very unjustly treated with no option.

The refund should not be with your company credit. You keep the customer hostage if their plans change for any reason. You loose for the future. You should not afraid of thier return if you belive your service id good.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
