I arranged for a car rental through EconomyBookings.com in August specifying that our arrival at Heathrow airport would be just before midnight hence car collection would be at that time. All this was specified on the booking confirmation I received. No point in saying that we arrived at Thrifty Car Rentals near Heathrow Airport to find out that they were shut. I called EconomyBookings as well as emailed them the next day and was promised an investigation and a reply within 7-21 business days. That was in early September. They have not replied and have not received a refund either. I am totally dissapointed by their inefficiency and inability to behave professionally.
This was one of the cheapest quotes yet included unlimited mileage and a low collision damage excess so already a winning combination.
On the day I arrived 2 hours earlier than booked but Dollar/Thrifty accommodated my request to change the pickup time (as long as I brought it back the same time on the return date).
I wasn't told that there are toll roads in Canada and these toll will incur an administrative overhead of $15 but if you pay online for them (within 1 week) and show Dollar/Thrifty the receipt you will not incur this admin charge
Also strange is that they charge you for a full tank of fuel (and you return it empty)... well I was charged $70 but actually it only costs 45 to fill from empty which was a bit of a cheek but overall it was still best value
Joe Nasharr is so awesome, at this location! He was super professional and gave me a free upgrade to a truck (which ended up being a life saver cause I was driving alone over wolf creek pass in a storm) the ram was super clean and extremely nice for my long road trip!
The booking process was straight forward and easy.
Europcar at Margaret River and Perth International airport-service staffs was very friendly and helpful.
Car was clean and in very good condition.

Very terrible experience! I rent a car through the economy bookings in April. They charged me $106 deposit (I can't understand why they charge me this money), and explained to be received 3-28 workings days. Now, three months passed, I haven't received any deposit back. I tried to call them, but the number is canceled. I sent the emails twice to them, they replied they are seeking the information. Are you kidding me? For three months seeking?
Rent a car on the service is a pleasure. Impressed by a large selection of cars economy, business and Executive class. Terms of cooperation, a minimum of documents and quite low prices. To rent a car you do not even need knowledge of English, as the company employs specialists with knowledge of Russian.
Don't ever do a mistake that I did.

Economy booking take a deposit as soon as you book which is €130 you don't even get it back I try to talk to them about the issue that I had they were so rude and hang up the phone on me they refuse to refund the deposit.

I would advise against using a Car Hire broker in general and this company are the worst of the lot.
Firstly they made no indication that the transaction would be taken from my card in Euros. The quote was in GBP, everything on the site was I GBP and suddenly the transaction was in Euros landing me with a £7 fee from my card provider. If they'd been more transparent I could have used my foreign travel card and avoided this.
Second we paid €40 for out of hours pick up. The car was not there. 1am, 6 tired people and no car. We rang the car hire company (OK rent a car) who did not pick up so we called Economy Bookings emergency number. They refused to pay for a taxi to take us to our hotel or offer any reasonable advice so we were left €80 out of pocket for the whole experience.
All this company care about is taking your money - they don't care if it goes wrong afterwards. Do not use. Avoid at all costs.
This is the most scammiest booking site that has ever existed. At checkout the price was one amount which aligned with what was on my email confirmation but when I checked my account, they deducted significantly more. I am disgusted and appalled with this company. I called and I was promised a reimbursement but as of 2 weeks later I have not recieved a reimbursement so now it's time to call my credit card company and dispute the charges. Also when I called customer service the second time, the male representative literally SCREAMED at me. Just a horrible experience all around.

It was the end of day Friday before the start of spring break. I had ordered a mini van to take my wife and 4 kids on vacation when disaster hit for EconomyBookings. All the mini vans had a safety recall. This branch went above and beyond for my family.
For me personally, this is the best car rental company. I use the services of this service often, I have no complaints. The choice of cars is not small, so you can choose the right, even in color. Everything is provided and issued quickly. As a customer, I am satisfied!
I paid for a rental car ahead of time, yet on the day of my rental, I had some unforeseen events occur and could not rent. I looked on their website to file a refund. It wasn't there. Normally sites like Expedia, Priceline, and Bookings offer almost instant refunds if you do not use the service. Not economybookings.com! Not only did I get two different stories when I called them, I was treated rudely and dismissively by the second person I talked to... If this isn't a fraudulent service it's really close to it. DO NOT do any business with economybookings.CON!

Economy Bookings took my deposit and did not bother to reply to my emails even though they did not have the car that i requested from Europcar.
Europcar now says there is a charge of Euro 95 when i did not accept another car.
Well I think this is one of the most comfortable car rental services for me at the moment. It has big choice of cars and relatively low prices. So you can choose the best solution. If you want to save your time and get the quality your choice is clear.
There was no customer service. Tried calling. Closed. Used on line contact. Said to call. Asked hours customer service is open. No answer. Tried calling again. No answer. Kept seeing lower prices for same rental. There was even one in my email. Others seen in ads on Facebook and in other company ads. Most were about $90 to $100 cheaper. Did receive upgrade from car rental company. But stood in line over an hour to get waited on. I am handicapped person and had no place to sit while waiting. That wasn't Economy Bookings doing that was at Thrifty rental office.

It's been a long time since I rented a car and they were great. Will rent again from them. Rented online and easy to pick up car next morning. Car was clean and full of gas. Only used it for a one day trip
This company is very difficult to deal with. They don't look after Australians. Their call centre is outside Australia- therefore time zones are different and are unknown- it is hit and miss.
They don't offer free cancelations as do other companies if this is a reasonable period before the booking. I tried to change a booking and was charged about US$80. There is also and international fee on your card. Avoid using them is my advice.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
