I ordered a dress based on the size chart. The dress came quickly and seemed ok. However, it didn't look exactly the same as the picture online and I looked hideous in it. I would never wear it to my daughters wedding. I know they have a strict return policy but I reached out anyway and sent pictures. They said they would give me $10 back ($160 purchase price). And they would deduct 15% restocking fee plus shipping cost for sending and return. So, unless you have exact off the rack sizes (and are a skinny size 8) and are prepared to accept the dress no matter how it looks on you, don't buy from this company. Not worth it.

I have been in the wedding and fashion industry for over 20 years and was looking forward to getting this dress to wear to my daughter's wedding. I did the measurements based on their site and my experience. Came in horrific. Do NOT use them as it will cost you quite a bit to get and return.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Terrible return policy. It's an online store but all sales are final? No refunds or exchanges? My mom ordered a mother-of-the-bride dress in her exact size and the way it's tailored makes the dress fit so wrong. She wanted to return it and pick out a new dress, still using Dylan and David's, but we found out that the return policy is a tiny little tab at the bottom of the page. Unfortunately, we assumed that this was a reputable company that cared about customers. Unbelievable.

This place is a scam. I ordered a dress according to their measurements which was 2 sizes bigger than my normal size. Got the dress and it's like 4 sizes to small. It's really really heavy and the crystalls are falling off. They want you to send them pictures and then your measurements to hopefully prove you ordered the wrong size. Well I am not playing their game. I will dispute credit card charge and get my money back and keep the dress. I can sew so can probably alter it to be wearable by somebody.

The dress I ordered was not even close to the correct size. After sending pictures and measurements they refused to refund me the purchase price. They suggested I sell it at a resale shop. Please don't waste your money!

I ordered an off shoulder dress. They sent me one that hugs my neck and a very different style. I immediately followed their return process and sent a request. They replied asking for pictures. I sent pictures. I then followed up and resent the pictures 5 times over two weeks as they would t reply. I finally got a reply telling me I never sent pictures but they will give me 10% off. I'm still fighting them but it's clear they plan on ripping my off. Their service is awful and they are flat out lying. The dress they sent me isn't very close to the picture of what I ordered and it's ridiculous they won't let me return it. If there is the slightest chance you might need to return your dress do NOT risk it ordering with them.

I order this dress and it was left on my door step and taken, contacted Dylanqueen to be told to contact royal mail which I did and they issued a refund with Dylanqueen yet every time I email to get a refund they tell me they are looking into it! This had been 2 months now! Absolutely awful customer service!

Do not order from this company. I ordered 2 dresses in different colors because you couldn't tell on line. I did not make any alterations. The dresses arrived, didn't fit, the colors were horrible, and the lace on the top looked like tablecloth lace. They are not refunding my money. They made me take a picture and now they are telling me to go to a tailor to have them altered and they will give me 10% back. I used JJ's and they refunded my money and allowed me to ship back. If you don't want to throw away your money, do not use this site.

I purchased a dress, using my measurements. The dress does not reflect the size guide presented on the website. Buyer beware. They will also not accept returns. As the customer service representative stated in her email, "It's a pity."

I bought a dress for a gala.
1st it's not true to size!
2nd it's not what it seems!
3rd. Trying to get in contact with customer service is a nightmare!
4th. It's a lie the make it impossible for a refund.
My return response from Lucy at dylanqueen is as follows.

It's such a pity that the dress doesn't fit you well. Since your dress was made in a standard size and strictly inspected before shipping out.
Could you please show us your exact measurements of bust, waist and hips with tape on or tell us your actual measurements?
We need to check if the wrong size was chosen. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your reply.

Final result. Don't throw away your money, especially if you are not 100% about the dress.
This was a nightmare.

I ordered what I thought was a beautiful dress for my daughter's wedding. They sent me the wrong color, insisting they were right (I'm not color blind). The dress was NOT per my measurements, so they suggested I go to a local tailor and get altered. I would have considered this, but it was the WRONG COLOR. I went back and worth with the service rep who would not budge. Told them they could keep their measley 10%. So ridiculous. Ladies: the price point may lure you in, but you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to purchasing!

My friend bought her wedding dress at this website and she was more than pleased with it. It did look gorgeous and of good quality, at least for its price. I mean the stitching was a little rough to me, while it saved 300+ dollars than in other stores!

Do not buy! Poorly made dress and refuses to allow the buyer to send back the dress. Currently have a dispute open with my bank in order to get a full refund as DylanQueen are not co-operative and always sends the same email whatever you write to them. I spent over £200 and the dress I got was cheap looking, badly sewn together, the wrong colour, the wrong size and it had an embellishment sewn on even though I asked for it to not be there. There is something wrong going on with this company so please be careful and read reviews before committing to buy from a company that does not produce what they say they do. I would not recommend and would NEVER use again!

I ordered a Mother of the Bride dress, beautiful in the picture. It came almost as pictured, but the sleeves were unattached lace pieces instead of cap sleeves. I complained many times to customer service, was finally told to accept $18 or shipped the dress back which would have been more expensive than $18. I had the dress altered for $40, the informed me that whoever had sewn the dress took little cut pieces of lace and sewn them on. Clearly they made a mistake and tried to correct. I informed customer service again and they do not care, told me I was already paid $18. So if you have to deal with a problem, they are no good!

In answer to why Dylan Queen do not answer e-mails it's because they know they are a sham site. The office of Fair Trading in the UK should investigate them. They take money from genuine people to line the pockets of Chinese business men. A total and utter scam site. The good reviews are mostly from China or surrounding area, They copy and use pictures of genuine designer dresses and pas them off as their own. Please please do not use them, you will regret it.

So many things wrong with this website, to list a few:
* Constantly ignored by customer service
* Had to pay an extra (hidden) fee of £40 for customs duty though it doesn't state anywhere on their website that this might be the case
* Yelled at by customer service for wanting a refund
* Denied a refund even though the dress was NOTHING like it was shown on the website
AWFUL AWFUL experience! Any positive reviews they have are planted... DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
