I paid 1363.95 AED on the website dubizzle.com for an ad, and immediately after the payment was processed, my account was blocked and marked as scam. I contacted the website's support team, and they justified this by stating that I am not a resident of the UAE. Then, I requested a refund, but it was denied. No one clearly notifies that the platform is only for residents and does not prevent registration. Everything is aimed at getting money and then refusing to place an ad, money is not refunded.

I posted an Ad. Dubizzle approved it and took money. After 2 weeks, they claimed that the ad is not as per their rules. I posted ad to offer a service/product to community and I did not look gor product or service. If the Ad was against the rules why you did not deny it first hand? Why did you take money from me first hand? To me it looks Fraud.

Me as car buyer had so much trouble and hard time to schedule an appointment with their customer service. Service to the client is absolutely nowhere on their mandate. The attitude is "My way or the highway". I will never use their service. Save yourself time and money and look somewhere else and not use their service.

Not worth the headache they cause.

1. I purchase 2nd hand Honda Pilot(2020 model)from Dubizzle.
2. The Car had accident and it's warranty was withdrawn from Honda. Mr. Khalid(from Dubizzle) hide this information with me and told that there were minor scratch which was fixed.
3. When I took the car to Honda Service Center, I came to know about this issue.
4. When I reached Mr.Khalid, he completely denied it and said we will not take back car neighther return the money.
5. As a lessons learned, don't trust dubizzle words.
6. Take car for check outside and check it's status from Honda Service Center.

Save up your money and effort
Dubizzle isn't the only platform in UAE

Abouslety redicouliois service bu Dubizzle. I signed up for Dubizzle pro to sell a car and went conplety quite for a week no contact made and then only after complaining they started contacted and every call notifying a different procedure until at the end they said well sorry we can not post the car because its on a loan and you need to pay off first and further saying that ad fees that were collected in advance are not refundable!

Nothing was said upfront, you accepted the form that was filled and accepted to collect the fees and at the end you are saying it's not compliant was this said or mentioned upfront, NO.

Seems like some sort another hustle that Dubizzle is trying to pull on customers.

Never again Dubizzle, heading to different available legit platform.

So I needed a pre purchase inspection on a car and went on the DUBIZLE site as its a service they offer. Only after giving my details and paying, do I get a call to ask where the car is. As the Dealer is in Ajman, they tell me sorry no, we cant go bring the car. So this useless company now expects me to have it loaded on a flatbed at my cost and take it to them.
How about you ask the emirate on your registration site and say sorry no, cant help. But its better to have my money in your bank before you pay it back in 14 days.

Do not use this service.

Since OLX bought this company they have just been going down the drain. With only charging huge fees they do pathetic service and almost no leads. I have been using them from past 3 years, every year their quality is deteriorating and I believe the stats they show are not accurate because I never get calls as per the views or detailed views or also the phone leads. It just feels to me like random numbers. Just today I paid them again and I realised what mess they are doing. They feature the ads you don't pay and do not feature the add you pay. Even after feature the ads are shown below the ads posted 22 days before.

On asking for refund for previous months where such instances have gone completely unnoticed they said there is no proof for before, only now you have realised that there is a problem. OMG never again spending a nickel here.

Earlier this week I listed a couple of furniture items and the second the (paid) ads went live I was literally bombarded with whatsapp messages from scammers (trying to trick me into clicking some Fedex link which basically steals your money) and truck drivers offering their relocation services.
It has just been a huge waste of time, energy & money. Avoid if you can!

These sites misleading me to the fraudster (syndicate Pakistani's in Sharjah who pretend they can repair gearbox or can buy spare parts at a reasonable price. So when I bring the car to their garage they will take advance of the full amount after several days u can not contact the one who posts in this site and their post has been deleted. Once u visited to collect ur car u will become crazy cause they didn't repair at all. Two months i put my car in 3 garage same fraud they just waste my time and money. They only know is to take advantage of innocent people. As a reliable site, u should protect both parties not just a buyer or a seller to finding the easiest way but unfortunately, we found fraud on this site. Please be careful to give these people a chance to ruin others life and take advantage of others. Hoping that you take action upon our reports and block their several accounts to add their scam. I am suffering not just for money but my time was wasted because of them.

I'm an customer of Dubizzle past more than 6 years. But recently I got many bad experience from. No customer support, not user friendly.
I stopped doing ads on this platform. Worst experience.

Watch out how these guys take money from you and give you the worst non-ethical service in return, If I were them I would remove the contact-US section on their website for a simple reason they don't want to listen to what you ask them and it is their way only. When you try to discontinue an add so that automatic renewal does not happen they delete it instantly instead of waiting for the maturity of the ad (in 3 weeks as my example), So they charge you money and remove the app as soon as you inform them to halt it after 3 weeks. Fraud...

1) 90% of all the enquiries of mine in regards to properties advertised on Dubizzle I was interested, are not available.
2) Photos of properties are FAKE.
3) Most of my enquires were not answered i.e. When you make an enquiry about a certain property, it is more likely that no one will ever contact you.
4) Once you get hold of them, they will reply to you once, and then will be ignoring you.
5) You ask them whether the pictures on the website are a tru representation of the property at its very state...they say "yes". And when you arrive to view the property...you cannot recognise it...no worries, it is just because they "redecorated etc" to the point that the layout differs substantially... If you have plenty of time in your hands, and there is nothing else to do in the world...Dubizzle would give you something to do and think about.

Someone is going to write "we apologies for your unpleasant experience etc..." But in reality, no one cares about whether you apologies or not, the only thing I care about is the services you are offering.

This is the worst website, worst computer and software system. Whenever i post my personal ads, they get automatically deleted with automated responded stupid reasons. They want us to be on their website again and again, that's why the delete the ads and for no reasons. And when we complain to customer service, they just blocked the account. Stay away and find an alternate. Images attached with review. And I wouldn't even rate/give them 1 star in the review.

I have used the Dubizzle platform for multiple things now, initially it was my go to place for second hand cars, but now recently I started selling almost brand new items online on the Dubizzle website. From both sides of being a buyer and seller on the Dubizzle platform, it has been extremely easy to use the platform and find buyers that check my requirements or items being sold in perfect condition. The Customer service is also very helpful in case I don't get any responses or I face any issues of any kind.

Placing my AED 99 featured ads every 3 days is a total waste because after 1 day my ad goes down below 15-20 ads or more and is lost. Requests to allow at least hourly refreshes for paid adverts are ignored. So I find there is no point sticking with them anymore.

Also there are many con people or criminal minds looking at Dubizzle, landing up trying to buy products by cheating people. So if advertisers are not given sufficient benefit and protection for the money they spend this is not a good place.

I am leaving this place very disgruntled after spending about AED 1000 in just advertisements the past month. With no support to improve anything for the advertiser. It looks like a money-making machine for the website owners.
