I ordered an eGift card for a birthday gift. On the website it says it will be delivered within 12 hours. 24 hours later I got a call verifying that I placed the order. Not only have they not sent it out but they said that if this gentleman hadn't gone into work (which he only does sometimes on the weekends)to verify the order this wouldn't have gotten sent out until MONDAY! As it was I had to go through TWO supervisors to get this Egift card sent out IMMEDIATELY. They kept assuring me it would be sent out within 12 hours of verification. THis is NOT what it says on the website. They do NOT get them out within 12 hours on the weekends. Keep this in mind when ordering. In fact, I suggest ordering from another site that actually DOES get them out in a timely fashion.

When I notice that my order was being shipped to another location, which has NEVER happened before ( Be careful with locations when ordering). For some reason it went to Wynnewood Pa. Less than 24 hours I contacted DSW ( Due to store hours) TODAY! Is July 10th I was notified by email that my order was picked up!. And my Credit Card was charged. This is FRAUD. You have a THIEF in your Wynnewood PA store.
After speaking with Harrison ( Supervisor) I was informed that my Credit Card would be credited. This is just Ridiculous, That you as consumer, Try to take IMMEDIATE action in order to avoid unnecessary issues, only to find out that it can go WRONG REAL FAST!
The shoes did not leave their facility for a whole week, and then it took ANOTHER 10 days to get to my house.
Customer service was polite, but useless.
DSW IS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP BUT THEY TREAT THEIR SALES ASSOCIATES LIKE $#*!. CUSTOMERS ARE ALLOWED TO STEP INTO THE WORKERS FACE AND YELL AT THEM BUT THE ASSOCIATE IS EXPECTED TO KEEP THEIR MOUTH SHUT. AGAIN GREAT PLACE TO SHOP BUT HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK
Order shoes from DSW.com at the end of November 2021 for pick up at store -paid with credit card.
The first week of December 2021 received text shoes were ready for pick up in store.
Went to store to pick up shoes -store could not locate the shoes. Issued a refund. Customer Service contacted me that refund would be credited to card within 3-5 days.
In mid-December no credit had been issued to my credit card. Customer Service was contacted and apologized and issued another refund to my credit card.
Beginning of January 2022 no credit issued to credit card. Once again Customer Service was contacted and once again apologized and issued the refund credit -this would be the second time Customer Service was contacted regarding this refund.
Mid January 2022 as of this date NO CREDIT has been received. Writing this review to let other DSW customers know there is definitely a problem within this Company's refund (with receipt) policy of return within 3-5 days.
It is now a month and a half and counting no refund to my credit card.
This company was great to work with. Easy set up and great communication and flexibility. Everyone loved them and would like to order more! Thank you!
Very good quality of cut and tailoring! The fabric is natural. Size to size. However, the color is darker and not as bright as in the photo. Completely satisfied! Looks really beautiful and noble!

I had a discount coupon for $30 off of a $49 purchase and I went in to get my price adjustment and of course every shoe that you purchase in their store is excluded from the coupons even though the brand I bought was not printed on the back of the coupon they sent me she pointed out that a sign on the side of their registers in their store shows that it is excluded in store what a freaking joke so tthe coupons they send to you are absolutely 100% worthless get it together DSW
I ordered hiking books 2 weeks ago and just got an email today saying they were canceled because they were out of stock. Really 2 weeks later! That is terrible service!
Over 10 days and shoes never shipped. Called five times and no had an explanation.
I said to cancel and they refuse to even though they never shipped. No shoes, no answers.

My boot look different than the website of what I ordered.And the boots is to small this is literally the 3rd pair is to small. And the boot I looked at had no heel this boot does.
Bought non slip shows and they were not non slip and they won't allow me to return them because I wore them for an hour. How am I supposed to know they aren't non slip until I can wear them.

I recently ordered 3 pairs of shoes I wanted to decide among for a wedding I am attending.
The first pair arrived when I was not home, no email to say delivered and I was fortunate a family member was home to take in the house, an email was received the next day that it was just delivered. The 2nd pair came a day later and when I opened the box it was smashed and had no cover. I took a picture of it and then examined it. It seemed to be water damage and I smelled the shoes. One was fine, the other had an awful stench I almost vomited. MOLD. Very upset, it was sent to me like this, not damaged in shipment, the bag was sealed. Waited for the 3rd pair which said would be received May 3rd but did not arrive. Called DSW on May 4th and was told I would have by the 5th. Was offered a refund for moldy shoes or can look if available for replacement. I explained I needed it by Tues May 7th and a team member said available but would not be able to send unless regular delivery. Offered me a $10 refund on order and applied. Today as I write this on Sunday May 5th I looked up the order and said it would arrive tomorrow. I am very disgusted with DSW for many reasons. How can they send a customer mold shoes, what if I was allergic. Luckily my other half did not touch them because he is allergic to mold. I should have been accommodated with the pair sent to me overnight for my troubles. I was also not told the truth about when I would receive my 3rd pair.
I have been a loyal customer to DSW but after recent experiences that may change and I certainly will tell my friends and show them the picture of the damaged shoes I received.
I bought two gift card as a Christmas gift for my mom and sister. Somehow my sisters' doesn't work. So I have her bring to me and I went to the store and try and they say also don't work so I call customer service. The person I talk to was patient and a little helpful. However, the person tried everything to help me but it doesn't work out so he have me email *******@dsw.com and show them all the things I have such as receipt, the card # and etc. The gift card that I have was not the same number on my receipt which i just notice and I don't know how it happened because it was wrap as a Christmas gift and have not use yet until a couples day ago that my sister tried to use but couldn't. I wasted $120 which is not a little. I worked hard for that kind of money. Either the cashier that was helping me tried to scam me or handed me the wrong card but I was not happy at all. When I emailed DSW customer service they didn't take their time to read my email which I explained everything that happened. All they do is told me to call customer service again and again. So their only process was just making me do the same thing over and over again. I was frustrated and was not happy at all. I will no longer shop at their stores no more. It is sad that DSW was a good shoes store that I have shop my whole life and never encounter these kind of problem before and when I did, they did not help me at all. I am no longer your customer anymore DSW.
I was shopping at the DSW in Maple Grove, MN with my son last week. I found a pair of boots I loved on the Clearance Rack that were priced at $69.95. There were stickers with this price on the sole of each boot. When I went to the cashier to checkout, the boots rang up at $155. I pointed out to the cashier that the advertised price on the boots was, in fact, $69.95, and asked her if she could correct the error. She called over a man (young with dark hair and glasses) who I assume was the Manager. His response to me was, "I'm not accusing you, but people switch the tags on merchandise all the time. The boots are $155." Tag switching? Seriously? Sounded like he was accusing to me, and to my grown son who was with me. Clearly, DSW is using a Bait and Switch tactic with their customers! I was very offended, to say the least. This young man could have easily checked the cameras. In the past, any time I have shopped at a retail establishment where the tagged price differed from the actual price, that retailer has ALWAYS honored the price on the item. Mislabeling items is the fault of the retailer, NOT THE CUSTOMER! I will no longer shop at DSW and am making sure to share tis with ALL my family, friends, co-workers and customers at my place of employment. I am disgusted beyond measure. Shame on you DSW!

Center is the only call center in the nation, with a lot more shoe lovers calling in at once than the call representatives that are available
