I paid the initial fee to get my phone unlocked and after they stated it was eligible, they wanted another $50 to unlock it. I have requested a refund and they will not help me. This is a scam DO NOT USE THIS SITE?

This is a scam! They make it *look* like you'll only pay $29, but after you've paid that, they say you have to pay another $49 for them to finish the job! If you dig deep into their terms of service, you'll eventually find that they refer to the $29 a "Pre-Order Fee".

Who knows? They might charge a 3rd or 4th fee, and they might never actually unlock your phone... I never know, because I decided to cut my losses and not take the risk of paying out even more money to a company that uses deceptive tactics.

I suppose it's a good scam for them, because they actually do mention the second fee... in faint, small print off to the side... so they can always *claim* they didn't hide anything, even though they obviously were trying to deceive.

They also *claim* that this is all explained on their "price list", but the link to their supposed price list (https://directunlocks.com/pricelist) just takes you back to their home page.

Perdí mi dinero y mi tiempo

Hice el pago del servicio de desbloqueo de red y este inicialmente tardó dos días, la página me indica que no se pudo realizar con éxito y que tenía que pagar otro dinero adicional para que una persona remotamente hiciera el proceso. Realicé el pago del dinero adicional y la persona que me atendió vía WhatsApp tardó otros tres días en tratar desbloquear la red de mi dispositivo y luego simplemente me indicó que no se pudo realizar con éxito porque era problema de mi celular. Entonces se puede concluir que la página no cumplió con lo que promete y que perdí dinero y tiempo

Finally got SIM unlocked phone!

Primero te pide un pago de 28 dólares para saber si es posible el desbloqueo, luego de que verifican esta información te piden un pago de 50 dólares por un bloqueo standard y luego a los pocos días te piden un pago premium de 300 dólares lo cual me dio mucha desconfianza sin embargo me animé a pagarlos porque necesitaba el teléfono, a los pocos días me llegó el mensaje de que tenía el teléfono desbloqueado y funcionó bien. I ordered the service as I was changing vendors for mobile.
The phone is an odd one (Motorola).
Originally, thought 4 days, 4 hours for the code.
It showed up in half the time, worked perfectly and the phone is happy with the new vendor.

Do not waste your money on directunlock.com. Once you give them the first 28 you'll receive an email minutes after saying your phone is blacklisted. They are all bs. Do not give them any info or pay them.

Buyer Beware

THIS IS A SCAM. I thought that this was a real unlocking service but it's not.
They'll make you pay $20-$30 for an initial check or if your phone is "safe" to work with.
I found out that you can easily do this online FOR FREE.

Then after the check-up, they make you pay another $130 for the actual unlocking.
It's not true. They'll make you wait for days on end and then send you a fake email to teach you how to unlock it yourself. Please report this website.
