I ran a music production business, I made a wordpress website myself, I told them that I needed two pages to be slightly changed to look better and the mobile website navigation bar to be re-adjusted. I was quoted $250 so I paid on the spot and waited for them to make changes.

I created an admin account on my website for them so they could make the changes that I prepaid for. I waited about a week for the changes to be "drafted". They were calling me at least 4 times a week even though I asked them to text me as I worked 10 hours shifts at my day job where I cannot answer the phone, they kept calling.

After two weeks of waiting, they finally decided to leave me a message saying that my new website has been drafted and they need me to pay for the content. Then I pointed out that I only needed an already existing website to be tweeked, so they apologized. I told them that I needed two pages to be slightly changed to look better and the mobile website navigation bar to be re-adjusted.

They spent two weeks trying to upsell me, and in the end they told me that I need to give them all passwords to my Hostinger account as the FTP and Database accounts that I swt up for them weren't enough.

In the end I said no, and just left without requesting my money back. In return they sold my phone number to a spaming company.

Don't loose your money! I've been working with this company for a year and they have not provided me with a working website. I can't access the admin page to manage my site. I can get my email addresses to work and have complained (nicely) about this numerous times. I've paid them for things they never did. I would NOT use this company. They make all kinds of promises but never come through. I was even promised an app because they were trying to be nice in the beginning to get my money but when I've asked about it over and over again I've got no answer. I've sent one more email on the design thread we communicate on asking them to fix my admin log in so I have control over the site I have paid them for. If they own up and complete what they promise I will revise this review but until then I will continue to work with my CC companies fraud department to get back my money and move on to an honest design company. Hi Everybody Beware, please don't work with this company. Please read the reviews in Better Business Bureau Canada - there is a Red Alert (https://www.bbb.org/us/nj/newark/profile/mobile-apps/design-eminent-*******0954/complaints).
My hard earned money is sucked by these people. They are fraudulent people and it's a very big scam and racket. They will talk very sweet and promise astonishing website and other features. They will take your credit card details and charge your card right away. Next thing someone name - Ferris (developer) will call to pay more for trade mark your logo design or otherwise someone will sue you or steal your logo design. The promise is never delivered and money is never refunded as promised 100% money back guarantee, if not satisfied. After 35 days of repeated requests they provided a crappy website with defective plugins. They never provided with any confirmation email of trademark logo & told me it will take few months. I am also deceived by them and today lodging complain with State New Jersey Consumer Affairs & other sources and will get them nailed. Also I am in process of registering complain with credit card visa company how they authorize scamsters to use the visa transactions.

My husband needed a logo idea that he came up with himself brought to life and done digitally. We were reluctant to try finding digital designers on the internet, but I am so glad we did. It was so easy to upload our ideas to Josh. He looked at my husbands idea and promised us he could make the new logo look just like my husband's work and stay true to his vision. Let me tell you, we were SOOO pleased with the results! Josh sent not only the one that was just like my husbands idea, but also added a couple where he (Josh) himself had added some extra ideas of his own. We LOVED Josh's vision of a new design that added something to the our logo that we didn't even think of. We went with it and are so happy! My husband is very picky, and he loved what Josh came up with. Josh was so easy to get in contact with, was so faithful in sending me messages and emails keeping me informed of what we needed for each step of the process and such a sweet person to do business with. In no time, we had all of our digital files downloaded with our brand new logos and we are ready to use them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The salesperson * did not listen to what was stated when my wife and I talked to him. The information that was transferred to the project manager was supposed to include the ability for people to be able to order product off of my website, leave comments, etc. I pretty much just got a website without the functionality of what a real website consists off which is not the fault of the project manager * but the salesperson. If I was told the complete price upfront as I did not know that we had to pay for the content for the website, pay for e-commerce and pay for a testimonial page then the rating would be different. I'll make a suggestion, hire me and I'll get your company straight in regards to salespeople listening, re-iterating and quoting properly. Still have a few issues with the website but hopefully * will get it done without costing me extra as that is the part that is stressing me out as I would like to have a live website that can take orders and allow customers to leave a comment as I was at a very large expo with very serious leads and I needed this done before the expo which I started this back in December and the expo was not until March which gave plenty of time for the website to be done but it is still not where it needs to be. Next time I'll deal with Wix.

This is literally the worst company to hire, they are natural born liars. They will charge you one rate, start on the project and then try to up charge you another $500. The lied to us about the platform they use just to get your business and your money.

The cvommunication sucks, they use a app/platform to communicate with customers because they dont want an email trace of their bad services. Our organization hired Design Eminent and was NOT happy at all.

We hired them to design a custom logo and custom website. None of the logos they sent were custom, they were logos i have seen online before from other online design stores, the website wasn't done to our standard.

If you hire this company i promise you will be 100% PISSED OFF

REFUND
We demanded a refund, Steven and Amy said it was no way I could get a refund, although their website says 100% Money Back Guarantee. I complained over and over again and"Ally" from the online chat agreed to give me only 45% back. I have declined that offer and will be suing this company. I've used them in the past and had a decent experience. This time around was horrible. I purchased a logo package online with a 2 hour TAT. I submitted the details along with payment and still no response after a couple of days. I then receive a message from someone asking was I still wanting them to complete the project because they haven't heard from me, so I resubmitted the form again directly. After a couple of days with no response, I reach out for explanation on the delay. I get a call from Joshua explaining I should have called them once I submitted payment and that it wasn't his fault, because I wasn't working him. Then he goes on to say I should have also called for them to honor the 2 hour TAT which they have advertised online with the package. Joshua decided to want to have a debate over the phone with me as if I was in the wrong for being upset they dropped the ball. So, I decide to continue to allow them to provide the designs advising how tight the deadline is and I need the designs asap according to the TAT advertised. I didn't get any design concepts for the next couple of days. Then every revision moving forward took an additional day or two to complete, given I had to constantly message Joshua demanding my designs. Every single conversation was an excuse and he never apologized, nor did he provide any resolution for their poor customer service given how urgent this deadline was and how it jeopardized me losing my client. After about a week, I demanded a refund if he couldn't provide my client's designs within a couple of hours as he promised. Another 24 to 48 hours goes by again. I asked to speak to management on the poor service and Joshua completely ignored my request. I will NEVER hire them again for another client's project. He even had an attitude when I explained my frustration.
