The David's Bridal in Mesquite is the worst, do not go here. My consultant that was supposed to make me feel beautiful did the exact opposite. She just stood there, she acted like it was above her to have me try on more than one dress, and the dress I wanted that was online was discontinued. Which it did not say online! She was lazy and made this the worst part of planning my wedding. She also did not help my bridesmaids at all try on dresses; I scheduled an hour for me and an hour for them. She did not even help them try on; I had to help them in and out of the dresses. When my daughters dress came in they could not even find it, yet they called me and told me it was in and to pick it up by Friday. No "please" just pick it up by Friday. This is by far the worst customer service, my suggestion close this location, they obviously do not care about the women that come there, nor their jobs.
The staff at my local David's Bridal was friendly enough but the selection was so limited that I only tried on one dress. Everything they had was either too small (I wear a 14 in regular ladies dresses so it's not like I'm a beached whale) or big pouffy ball gowns which do not work for short brides. I was given a very tiny room to try on the one dress I actually liked, unfortunately, that dress was discontinued and no longer available in my size. I left empty handed so I decided to try the website. I didn't have much luck there either. Again I found a great dress only to find out that the dress was not available in my area and could not be shipped to my local store.
I will never come here again. I made an attempt to find my wedding dress here and was not allowed to browse the dresses because I didn't have an "appointment". Ha! Very rude staff, snotty, and not helpful. Oh well, what a wasted trip. I was willing to spend upwards of $1000 on a dress, so their loss not mine.
I took my granddaughter to David's Bridal 5779 S. Hiway 40 in Terre Haute, In. To look for a homecoming dress. Danielle, Sarah and Janet made this one of the best shopping experience I have ever had. They were enthusiastic about helping her find the perfect dress. She is not a small size which could have made this a negative experience but because of these ladies she left the store feeling beautiful and excited about her dress and accessories {which they helped with also}. Dont go here if you expect any help. The consultants are snotty and only let you try on what they want you to try. Plus, the sizes they have available to try on are for skinny models, not for real people.
I love my dress. I loved my store associate that helped me (the second time, the first one was horrible so I went to another store). The only real complaint that I have is that their alterations are extremely over priced. After paying for my alterations it doubled the price of my dress and the only thing it needed was a hem and bustle for a very simple dress. The tailor that worked on my bridesmaid dresses said she would have charged me 1/2 what they did.

I was led to believe that the dress I ordered was discontinued by Davids Bridal Stores, both in Canton and Akron. There seems to be a pattern here with every review website I've visited. I was the mother of the bride and spent 289.00 on a dress that after arrival was too big. When I asked to exchange it both stores told me it was discontinued. I then had 145.00 in alterations done (at the Fairlawn store) and the dress was still too big. The next day I looked on line and there was my dress for 129.00, in the size I wanted. I bought it figuring I would have to pay at least that much more for additional alterations on the first dress. I then took it in and they charged me to hem it! I complained to the manager Jennifer who was supposed to get back to me in three days... It was three weeksand I finally called her. When I called her back she said they wanted me to come back in to see how the first dress fit. Another inconvenience. They saw how it fit the first time I was there. I ended up spending close to 600.00 on the dresses and it was because they told me it was discontinued and then did a lousy job altering it! David's Bridal stores are scamming consumers and I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone!
Davids bridal is a really neat place to buy wedding dresses and more. They have a big selection but prces are kinda high on some. Customer service is okay but not the best
I found my Vera Wang wedding dress searching this site. They have a generous selection of gowns. If you are just looking for ideas, it is a great place to browse. I like looking at all the pictures of models wearing the dresses. It gives me a better idea of what the dress will look like. I am very happy with the dress I purchased, and I am just excited to wear it for my wedding.
I heard somewhere that they are the forever21 of bridal gowns. I agree :) You don't really get the best shopping experience, and the employees/assistance is okay on customer service (based on going to 3 different locations), but the dress is okay quality, and at lower prices. Also, they will bombard you with emails when you sign up with them, eeek. Otherwise, not bad. Give it a try!
