Why does it take so many days before items are shipped?
I almost cancelled and ordered from ebay.
Had Cycle Gear order a new tire and tube for my Super Moto. Took about 5 days to get the new tire. Then another 4 days to get the tires installed on the rim.

I drove to my nearest cycle gear store which was one hour away to buy a specific item and cyclegear.com store inventory was wrong, but the store representative made it right by expedited shipping it to me home.

I like Alec and his Crew. Very knowledgeable of the products they sale. I am a very picky customer with my motorcycle protection gear. Alec and his Crew at the Allison Park Cycle gear were patient with me and the problem I was having with the purchase of my new helmet. I drive 1 1/2 hours to get to the Allison Park Cycle gear cause the service is good there.
The people knew exactly what I needed and got it for me quickly.

The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
