I placed an on line order for a Simpson helmet which was delivered within two days, but the helmet was one size to big. I followed there easy to understand return process, and ordered the correct size helmet, and again within two days had the helmet. The return process, and the refund went smoothly and timely with no hiccups. My experience with CycleGear went flawless, and extremely happy with the no issues process. I had ordered a set of tires and was tracking them via-cycle gear and FedEx, I got an email stating that they had arrived in store so I go to pick them up when I walk in it "seemed " like they were super busy and there were about 8 people standing in line which would have been fine but after still waiting 15 minutes one of the cashiers, finally decided to acknowledge that we were all standing there waiting for him to stop talking to a buddy of his, he stated that he would have called us over had he known we were alaet well you have know if you were not chatting away to a friend, I finally made it to the counter and spoke to the woman that was working and told her I was there to pick up a set of tires, she went out back for about 15 seconds and said that they were not there I proceeded to show her the emails I got that they had been delivered the day prior. She then proceeded to tell me that that was not the right email I was pretty upset so as I went back out to my car I called customer service and spoke to them about the issue. He called the store and let them know that on his end he did see that they were delivered and signed by a manager the day prior after about another 15 minutes or so he came back on and let me know that they had found the tires and they were there. When I went back into the store the same lady was now laughing and joking with some of her friends she looked up and saw that I had returned to the store but did not acknowledge me whatsoever luckily the person who customer service had contacted was at the counter with my tires it was just a horrible experience terrible terrible customer service inside the store.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
