Ordered tires online for in-store pickup. They arrived faster than promised. The employee at the store was very friendly and efficient. Overall very positive experience. Will purchase my next set of tires from here as well
Took a little bit to weed through what I was looking for. Luckily part numbers were similar enough to get exactly the windshield I needed. Shipping on the other hand was interesting. On-trac has always been an issue where I live. Was happy to receive a text from my neighbor say she had my parcel. Apparently the driver got lost and couldn't speak English to get directions.
My wife ordered an alpinestars jacket and loves it. Make sure you consider that a-stars is an Italian company and therefore seems to size things small. I ordered a jacket from them and had to return it to size up. I'm not fat by any means or jacked. But my forearms were too constricted in a medium sized jacket and so I sized up to a large. Other than that, the quality is exceptional and the customer service is easy
They arrived quicker than expected. I don't know what else to say, because we have not mounted them yet. It may be some time before we have them mounted as the rims need to be refinished and clear coated. Hope that is 50 words..
Overall a great experience. The store itself carries a variety of items and has a great inventory. I was looking for a new helmet. The employee helping me answered all my questions and took the time with me while I tried on a variety of different helmets. I did find a helmet I liked, but the store did not have the color I wanted, so I ordered it online. It was shipped to my house at no extra cost and it only took three days for it to arrive. I would recommend this store!
I ordered online as I can search thru assortment of products at a glance and comparing them with others that have been reviewed, by other buyers as sizing is different with brands. Overall it been a great experience I recommend.
Great to shop when local stores don't have items in stock.
Everything came as expected and on time. Communication was great from the delivery side. Winnie store had more inventory in hand so I could walk away with it that day. Found the same product cheaper online with free delivery. I pains for delivery and had to wait a little bit longer. Overall I can't complain about it.
As the other reviews said: Order one size larger than you normally wear. The heels will be loose." I have a fix for the heel issue.
I bought self sticking corner seals for doors at home depot. They work great. You may have to layer them. My heel fits perfectly now
Went into the store hoping to try on boots, but they didn't have the style I wanted. They ordered it for me & it got here quick. Unfortunately the boots rubbed on my ankle so I had to return them. So far it's been fairly seamless
My shopping experience was unbelievably disappointing. I've never met a more uncaring and mindlessly lazy group of salespeople. They are totally unappreciative. They were no help whatsoever, and I spent over $1,200 dollars because I needed the gear. Their help was minuscule and uncaring. It was an awful experience. What more can I say?
Cover is decent, say has a lifetime warranty so we will see. Thin and easy to install. Seems more general fits for many machines. With supplied strap cover doesn't stay very secure on my HD7. Will serve its purpose.
The delivery was 3 days late and tracking did not work. When the boots were received I noticed a cut on the side of one and scuff marks, soles were also slightly worn. So this must have been a damaged and used return, not good as they were advertised a new! Only conciliation is they were 50% off and I do like the boots.
Pretty efficient, tires look good, only downside is the date code showed they are 18 months old
Awaiting for my front michelin road 6 to be installed on my whee for a triumph speed triple 1200 rs. We will see how it goes as the tech mentioned about possible breaking my TPS & it would 3 to 4 day for installation. I raining this week, so it ok. But man that is slow..
I ordered 2 tires, rim strips and Tubes. The Shipment was split into 3 separate shipments. Tires came first, 1 tube and both rims strips came a day or so later. The other tube was a week later. I wound up using one of my old tubes so I could finish the project.
Site is easy to use, prices are competive, slection is good, what else is there.
I'm very happy with what I received, an "open box" item which was a pair of boots. The discount made these an incredible value the the size was perfect for me. Delivery was fast and overall, I'd do it again.
The staff were very helpful with the Quid tires I was looking for. I had gone to 3 other companys and none of them would help us out. Your company knew exactly what we needed and ordered them right away.
Tires are great. Had to replace the rear tire after a road incident destroyed the first one. Would buy again when these finally wear out. Haven't had them long enough to judge wearing, but surely handle well and give a great sense of confidence even on wet roads. As for delivery, I was notified multiple times that the tire would arrive on Sunday. Finally showed up on Tuesday. Fortunately I was outside when the delivery truck pulled up and handed me a box that was addressed to someone else. Upon checking back at the truck, he found the tire. Not CycleGear's fault.
The shop had a variety of things for me to try on as a new rider. When they didn't have the jacket that I wanted in stock in my size, they shipped it directly to my house (I live nearly two hours away). Initial delivery time said it would arrive at the end of the next week, but I received it within two business days. I would definitely recommend this shop, especially for those who are new and wanting to try on different gear.
When into a local Cyclegear, salesman was helpful and supportive seemed to understand my concerns with purchase of a new hat. Explained the RPM program helped me get the best deal and discounts possible. Placed my order on a Thursday. So the brick and mortar experience was 5 Star. It is the logistics of the order that let me down. RPM sells itself as 2day delivery. The salesman told me they don't deliver on weekend but I still half-expected it to be delivered by the Monday. The tracking system online was buggy and I couldn't tell half the time where my item was on the path to the local store. Finally arrived Wednesday, almost 7 days after ordering the helmet. CG online customer service has given me a $15 credit toward future purchases, when I complained which is fair but I would have much preferred a better logistics delivery experience.
Then I waited for days to get the tire installed and nothing happened. Had to take it to another shop to get the tire installed. I was scheduled to go on a week ride the next day. They probably could use some more experienced help
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
