Shopping for a helmet, found the style and color I wanted but not in my size,they ordered it for me shipped to my home in about 10 days. Prices are in line with the market out there and lots of deals and sales items.
It was time to buy my daughter her first helmet. When we arrived they were busy but made sure to acknowledge us and that they would be right with us. The sales gal took the time to assure my daughter age 7 found the correct fitting and helmet she liked design/color wise.

This is a second liner for my helmet so I have the option to rotate them. Wear one, wash one. Anyway I went to buy this a very looooonnnggg time ago and it just came back in stock. Seriously, what if the one that came with the helmet got damaged? Ride without a helmet? I don't think so. So the only option would have been to purchase a second helmet and if this is the way Sedeci supports their products I won't buy another.
Living close to the Orlando store, I prefer to shop with businesses that have a presence in the state. Unfortunately, almost everything I have bought has been unavailable at the Orlando store and I have had to resort to buying online. I wish there were more things in the store so I could actually try things on but I realize you can't stock everything.

I ordered a Schuberth C5 helmet from the store in Schaumberg. Jon was very helpful and pleasant. I received the helmet a few days later, but it wasn't in the shape I was expecting. After watching unboxing videos I knew the helmet I received wasn't in the original packaging. The box was in terrible shape, there was no internal packing, manual or warranty card. A screw fell out of the helmet bag and the liner was not attached in one location. I attempted to get satisfaction over the telephone from CycleGear, and the person who responded seemed very concerned, but I didn't hear back for two days. So I returned it to the Schaumberg store. I was leaving on a trip soon and wanted the helmet for the trip. Jon took care of it with apologies. I did receive the helmet, with all the packing and paperwork, two days before I was to leave, but decided not to try to get used to a new helmet on the road.
I'm about 5'2 150 and I ordered a man's medium. It fits pretty well. The only thing I had an issue with is because I'm short when writing I felt like the back protector was jabbing into the back of my neck so I had to loosen some straps and it got a little bit better maybe I'll have to wear it more to break it in but overall I like it a lot. It is very lightweight, good for the summer

My wife told me the return policy can be sketchy for gear if they suspect you've worn it on a ride. I therefore ordered it shipped to the store to avoid any suspicion thereof. When I tried on the medium, I felt like it was too big at the store, but wanted to try it on with another layer at home. It was too big, so I ordered the small and shipped it to the store again. I brought the medium back two days later, and they took it right away without question. The small showed up and I'm very happy with it.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
