I can buy a car stereo anywhere. The install kit and connector that Crutchfield included with my purchase made installation a breeze, not to mention a perfect professional appearance. The big box stores don't provide step by step instructions or free tech support either. There's a reason Crutchfield has been around for so many years.

I have been using Crutchfield since around 1985. The catalog was okay, but the website is fantastic. The ability to punch in your vehicle and find what you are looking for saves so much time. I had only used the site for cars and motorcycles until a year or so back when i bought a 65" TV. Again, perfect products, great selection, outstanding customer service. Why would you shop anywhere else!

Nice, straight forward and almost problem free installation. The one small problem that I had was quickly solved by Shane from Crutchfield tech support. The website is fantastic, showing you all the necessary accessories and tools needed for your particular install. I really liked the "ready harness". This low cost option makes the installation practically plug and play. I only had to tap one wire for my steering wheel controls, Crutchfield emailed me a link to show which wire it was and included a wire tap with the installation kit. Crutchfield has definitely done their homework and provide an excellent service. It's been about 15 years since I've installed a car stereo and I almost farmed the job out to a big box store. Glad I didn't. In a nutshell, buy the complete installation kit and the ready harness. They'll email you all the instructions. If you get stuck just give them a call.

You get free instructions that are available for any make and model which are detailed enough for anyone to follow and be successful. Most times the wiring harness is also free along with other accessories like trim or storage trays needed to complete a professional looking install. They also recommended appropriate tools you might need, such as trim pullers, to make the job easier. I research everything I buy and don't look anywhere else for car audio.
