Using the website, making an informed purchase, very timely delivery, all get two thumbs up. I paid to have the harness assembled which was the best decision and best use of money ever! That alone saved hours of tedium. Unfortunately the screws supplied with the product were too short and required an unplanned trip to the hardware store with the radio unit in hand and resulted in the loss of an hour of daylight. Installing a car radio these days is not for the impatient or the faint of heart, but overall it worked out albeit some frustrations along the way.

Salesperson new what I needed for my 2012 Chevy Truck. Later I talked to a tech person who was also very helpful. Order arrived promptly. I did need one more adapter cable which I then ordered, and wish they had mentioned it. It was to hook up the vehicle's USB plug to radio USB input. Installation went smoothly once I had all the cables. I had GPS and Sirius antennas to install too. Viewing U tube videos before hand certainly helped a lot, and I highly recommend them. Wiring the harnesses together using instructions went well, too.

This is a perfect solution if you want to add Bluetooth capability but don't want to go the less than perfect FM modulation route. Works perfectly and was not all that difficult to install. I mounted in on the top of a storage shelf below the a/c controls with 2 sided tape. I now not only have Bluetooth but a USB port to charge my phone. The blue indicator light was too bright for me at night so I fashioned a cover for it using a small red cap and a dab of silicon. Couldn't be happier!

I already made up my mind on what product I wanted. I'm retired and my budget is somewhat fixed. Having said all of that, the Crutchfield site allows you to select a product and get updated emails on it.

To my amazement, I received an email about 10 days later, letting me know that my product selection was on sale at exactly half price!

By the end of our phone call, we discovered that there was no way to build what we wanted to, without cutting out built in features that I rely on in my car. The breadth of knowledge that was shared with me, the willingness to tackle the question, and the mutual disappointment that we had when we found out just how weird and proprietary my current system is; It proved to me that Crutchfield has a passion for doing the work right.

I thought about buying from Amazon because they were about $15 cheaper. But Amazon doesn't have someone to call if you have any questions. Learning how to use this Kenwood Receiver is made so much easier when you call and talk to someone who knows the product and can answer your questions while you're sitting in the car as he walks you through it. Instant resolution was worth the extra $15. I'm glad that I went with Crutchfield. They really support you. Great people and service. I made a very good choice going with Crutchfield.
