I was very excited to buy the complete install not for my Tahoe with step by step instructions. Unfortunately, the instructions were vague and confusing. After spending a weekend researching videos I finally found one that answered most of my questions, and after some trial and error I got the radio working. But crutchfield is VERY misleading with their supposed "free" step by step installation instructions. Don't take the cheese. Do your research!

My experience with Crutchfield was amazing! The install kit that came with my car stereo made installation a breeze. I did have a couple questions on two connections, and the customer service team at Crutchfield was better than I could have asked for. Their familiarity with the products made it feel like they were sitting right next to me looking at the stereo and wires.
The selection is second to none from reasonably price to high end. They emailed me a installation guide for my specific vehicle, very helpful. The most impressive thing the did was send, at no charge the exact mounting/wiring kit for my truck this made installation a breeze! To top is off they have technical service available if you need it. If your going to go that far for your customers it will be the ONLY place for my future needs.

Order process is easy and streamlined. The kits they have setup are specific to your vehicle and make ordering everything you need super simple. That being said, don't be surprised if you may need to tweak something. The bracket I bought needed to have a dremel taken to it to to get the head unit in there. These are aftermarket parts and sometimes... it's just like that.
I had some questions during install and gave them a call. No wait time, asked my questions and made my install with no problems.
For reference I was swapping a failing factory double din system to a single din Alpine ute-73bt with a separate module to maintain steering wheel controls on a 2007 Honda Element. Like I said before, the bracket needed a little shaved out but if you are handy enough to install your own head unit, you'll be fine.
I couldn't tell you how many purchases I've made with Crutchfield for home and car audio, but every time I do, the experience is top-notch and that's one of the main reasons that I keep coming back. The prices are always very competitive and the support is excellent!
