You buy the basic plan on CraveTV and when you start watching a tv show you cannot finish it as the last couple of seasons are not available unless you pay more "ad-on's" and then when you call and complain, it is clear in the terms and conditions that they do not reimburse your money. So, they don't clearly tell you that you will not be able to finish some series and then they do not give you your money back when you realize that you paid for something you didn't want. This is a trap for the customer. DONT FALL FOR IT!
Tried to watch Billions. I am new to Crave. The seasons and episodes are jumbled up, some missing all together, predictive text is not available, pause the program and after a bit you get kicked out!
Android TV app is buggy and will not let you resume shoes. Go days sometimes without being able to load the Crave app. Customer service was no help with this issue. Do not buy Crave!
I got charged even though I cancelled my subscription and there was no way to remove cards. The whole user interface is poorly designed and could use work.
The software is so buggy that it is unusable on most platforms. Technical support appear to be non-existent and have ignored all my requests for help to date.
I signed up for a trial offer for 30 days. I canceled on the 29th day as the platform's interface is really bad. I got an email with a confirmation of my cancellation, then I got charged for the whole month. It is impossible to contact them online but when I talked to customer service they refused to refund the charges.
It seems they use deceit and confusion as business practices even thou I have canceled the service and got a confirmation they still charged me and they refuse to refund me for a service I DID NOT USE.
Bell gave a free subscription when I signed up with them.
I've been having streaming issues from day one. After contacting tech support on numerous occasions they haven't been able to sort my problem.

Playback errors ruin everything. Can't find a solution online. Just wait 24 hours. You wait all day to watch and a stupid bug ruins it. I am watching it on a Samsung tv.
Can't believe I paid money for this crap. Controls on screen do not work. Playback constantly freezes. No support and no service. Avoid this like the plague!
The selection is pretty sad, but what most turned me off is that there is no browsing for the starz add-on: it just shows 10 movies on the front page or you have to search, if you know the title of the movie you want to watch. Not user friendly. The worst, though, is their customer service. I cancelled on the last day of my subscription, and they said it was too late- because it was a prepay service they had already charged me and there was no refunds—- $270 annually!—- they wouldn't give me my money back for the subscription even though it hadn't started yet. That is epically shady. Stuck watching for another year but I'm going to now make sure I never get bell for phone or internet or anything - I don't want to be directed to that call centre ever again.
When I subbed to Crave in Dec '18(I left Netflix because of the Bobs Burgers thing), I had looked through their catalogue and said "okay not bad, they're always adding stuff I'm sure". Six months later and I have exhausted my interest and their catalogue! Click on "collections" and you'll see 'hundreds' of titles in the numbers displayed but if you actually count them, they fall wayyy short. Critically Acclaimed for example boasts 97 ITEMS but upon full count of the items one only gets to 33 just a hair over 1/3 of what is advertised
The content is good, but it's frustrating to use. When you are watching an English program in Canada, it will automatically switch the French when the next episode starts. #frustrating
They charged me for service i could not use. When I asked for refund, and after multiple back and forth they refused. Avoid at all costs
Crave app on Samsung TV. Unusable crap. Crave app on PS4 console - takes over 20 min to load if ever. Crap. Crave app on iPhone. For the love of god, what kind of idiot designed this app?
Crave could give me a year of free tv. I WOULD NOT USE IT. Total garbage. Save yourself a massive headache and stay away from Crave tv.

Keeps buffering literally watched half a show, I've been watching netflix all day and never buffered once and I wanted to watch a show that wasn't on Netflix and thought I'd give it a try and it's terrible.
Comically bad app. Closed captions often don't work, video quality often bad, sometimes you need to log out and back in to start streaming, progress on episodes doesn't save properly.
Day 3 of technical problems after signing up:
I signed up and the episode I wanted came up with an error code *******.
I called them and they kept me on the phone for hours running a battery of tests, only to have a new error code generated *******. They said they would have to refer my "ticket" to "Level 2" with the promise of a call back within 24 hours. That call never came.
I called again, but this time they e-mailed their highly technical requests which I was barely able to perform without the aid of a computer genius. I was told they would be calling back no later than 9:00 P.M. last evening. That call never came.
Today, they are not answering the phones. You are put on terminal hold. They do not tell you where you are in queue. They do not tell you anticipated wait time. They do not offer customers an opportunity to leave a message nor to receive a call back.
I wish I could have millions of Canadians deposit $10.00 or more in my bank account even just for a week. I could live well off the interest their money generated.
Trying to subscribe to crave tv for a week now, the site is not worth 1 dollar hello 20 dollars a month. Plus no support calling back, Bell time to shut it down
What a waste of time
This is by far the worst streaming service I've ever used. The playback is CONSTANTLY buffering. So you will be watching something, someone starts a sentence and then the screen freezes and you have to wait for the playback to sort itself out before you hear the rest of the sentence. Multiply this by an hour long tv show or a 2-hour movie and you'd go insane. Furthermore, I even have my settings set for the "Data Saver" option (thinking this might help) but no, it still buffers every 30 seconds and you're sitting watching a frozen screen before you finally give up and turn it off. And this is all before I mention the ads. I get that they have tiers now to try to force you to purchase a non-ad subscription but it has done the opposite to me because I have cancelled my membership altogether. I don't have the time or patience for a stream that constantly glitches and I refuse to pay double to use a less-than-mediocre service. The only thing I can say is that the customer service does reply promptly to you if you contact them. However, they did nothing to help my issue. They simply keep asking you questions about your devices and internet connection over and over (as if to try to make it a problem with your own device or connection when it is clearly nothing to do with you, seeing as I have no problems with any other streaming service I have used) I certainly do not recommend Crave to anyone as of the way it stands today.
Answer: I would not recommend getting CraveTV. Their customer support and technical support as well as quality is not upto the mark to compete with other service providers.
Answer: Because they only offer the absolute bare minimum for a streaming service, I suspect the ONLY reason it has lots of subscribers because crave seems to offer more rare shows, but for a bigger price mind you.
Answer: Not unless you want to rip all your hair out. Crave has serious streaming problems and mostly you cannot watch it. And if you can the sound is all tinny and canny.
Answer: Absolutely agreed. 100%. Also, they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never give your payment information to ANY Bell Media company, because they will screw you. Contact the BBB to make a complaint.
Answer: You can't! In the settings online, there is an option, but it doesn't carry over to whatever streaming device you're using it with. Incompetent morons, owned and operated by Canada's leading internet service provider. And Bell Media wonder why people don't like them. My sister has a theory... that Bell keeps their website design backward and out of sync with current progress, so they have an excuse to charge you extra money for their incompetence.
