Crackle

I love the fact that crackle is providing free movies but at risk of getting a virus like i almost got i don't recommend it until they provide anti virus/malware. Recently i was watching a flick and a virus called luhe. Pdf file was attempting to contaminate my pc by attacking my harddrive and was shielded by my firewall in which i was fortunate to stop it in time! My question is, what is crackle doing to insure safety for the viewers? What precautions are being taken to stop it to ensure customer/viewer satisfaction? Please keep us informed as to this predicament.

I wouldn't loathe 4 minutes of commercials every 15 minutes (WTF) if the volume on said commercials wasn't twice as loud as the show or movie itself, not to mention once they start, you can't exit. So 9 ads later, I can finally exit back to the menu. Not to mention, the ad timing needs to flow with the show.
SONY: The more people that view your content the more you can charge for commercials, the more you charge for commercials the less commercials are needed to make money. So please for the love of God, take that step, spend money to make money Sony. Commercials need to be cut in half, to reflect cable tv commercial lengths, anything longer and they are going to lose viewers= less money for ad space. Just a strong suggestion.
Look at all these people who say flat out, it isn't worth it. Listen to your customers. 12+minutes of ads in a 27 minute show, is rediculous.

Watched a movie, where every 10 minutes it show 5 commercials. Every time it was practically the same advertisement. I will never watch anything on this POS streamer again.

Too many commercials and they keep freezing. It gives the frustration of trying to watch a video with dial up internet in the 90s. Truly a stressful, unsatisfactory experience.

Some decent film choices, but, I mean, c'mon, guys. I understand that this site is free, but in exchange, you'll have to prepare yourself for what is probably the most inconvenient, in-browser movie watching experience available on the Internet. In addition to the not-so-infrequent commercials, if you happen to walk away from your viewing device for 10 seconds at some point during during the last 20 minutes or so of the movie that you're watching, you might return to find that Crackle has decided that you're not going to finish what you're watching, but rather, you're going to start watching a show or movie that is not in your Watch Later list, but for some reason or another, the folks at Crackle think that you'll enjoy it better than finishing that film to which you've dedicated the last hour or so of your life. It's very much a thoughtless, garbage setup - then again, what can you expect from a young, fledgling company like Sony. Maybe once they've gotten some years under their belt, they'll get their crap together.

I really enjoyed Crackle DVD TV Series Cleaners with the exception Cleaners Season 1 DVD Has 6 Episodes and the DVD has only 1 Episode. So Crackle sucks to high heaven Incorrect setup of episodes on a DVD and too many commercials on their streaming. Stay away form this channel, app try Pluto or some other app

Crackle isn't worth the 2 syllables it takes to pronounce the word. I'd give it no stars if I could.
Too many commercials and lousy streaming.
