My store is in Dothan, Alabama. I can not think of much more to say... I LOVE this place. The restaurant is fantastic, the service is super. The store... I could live in their store.
The food is really great, most of it taste homemade. If you ever have a problem it is taken care of quickly - - I had an issue with the way something was cooked (was too done) the manager had another steak brought to me with no hassle or no extra fee.
I know this isn't a very descriptive review, but what else can I say, I love their store and food.
The food is very good, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. That's what you get when you visit a Cracker Barrel. What made our experience memorable was our interaction with our server Louis. He couldn't have been any nicer. Sincere, attentive, and above all personable, Louis was the epitome of customer service.
The food was barely edible - side salad and side of broccoli/rice casserole. Server, among other things, kept cleaning up around us - sweeping floor within 2 inches of me as I tried to eat, removing condiments and replacing same as we tried to eat and converse. The salad was a row of cheese, a row of lettuce, etc. The B/R casserole had underdone broccoli (had to cut with knife) and I found no rice, only massive amounts of breadcrumbs. So bad.
We were seated and a short time later a waitress took our order. We waited for our drink and silverware to come first. But nothing. After being ignored for 35 minutes my wife went and found the manager. She said that she would get it taken care of right away. 5 minutes later another waitress came over and ask us what we would like to order. We told that we had already ordered. She said that they couldn't find it. We felt that the Manet handled this very poorly. As they should have been the one that came to our table to tell us. We told the waitress no thank you that we would just leave instead. We won't be back.
We waited 1hour for our food it was burnt and the chicken is not cooked all the way. The waiter was nice. The grilled cheese was not delightful.the waiter didn't ask to put strawberries on the ice cream and we could have been allergic
I ordered veg soup it had no veg it got cold while I waited for a spoon then was told sorry they're all dirty then I ordered a bake potato with butter was charged for a loaded bake potato on the spoon subject I went up to server station to get a spoon was told they'd bring it to my table 10 min later I had to ask again and was told they were all dirty! Why bring me soup with no veg or spoon!
I called, they were really not engaged and rushed me off the phone. When I went there to pick my order up they never placed it on the phone, wasted gas and time going there. When she told me the order wasn't placed I told her "I will never come back to this place", she was fine with it, I guess my money isn't good there. Would not recommend wasting your time going there too eat.
What sense does it make to order online or call in if they they will not start to cook it until you get there. The first time I ordered online I thought this just a miscommunication, but this happens every time, I no longer do take out with Cracker Barrel.
Ordered takeout from Cracker Barrel in Crossville Tn. All the biscuits were burnt to a crisp. Food was cold and tasteless. It was taken out to the trash. Food to expensive to be served something you can't even eat.
My husband ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was thick like paste and cold. The biscuits were hard with no flavor. The biscuits should be thick, soft and the gravy should have much more flavor and should not come in a separate little bowl but hot and laid over the biscuits. The sausage tasted awful too. When a person orders pancakes, one little bottle of syrup is not enough. Soft butter should come with the biscuits. A very disappointing meal. We won't go back.
Today was my birthday and I was wanting grits and chicken. Ordered from Cracker Barrel two plates, one for my daughter and myself. Spent $62. The food was horrible, EVERYTHING WAS COLD. Plate should have had a winter coat on to keep it warm. The grits was tasteless, the French toast was soggy, the chicken and sausage was shivering. This was the worst birthday breakfast in history. Food was thrown in the trash.
The Rosenberg, TX location is horribly slow. They close at 9pm, and 95% of the wait staff will not wait on you if you come in after 8:00 pm. This is the second time this has occurred to my husband and I. It is obvious there is no manager working and supervising. Where is the manager?
Not only is the food amazing but the people I work with is beyond words. Hard working,Team players and loyal. Yes there are times one of us are having a rough day and times the guest might be having a bad day but it's not Cracker barrel or IHOP or Dennys it's part of life and we over come. Everyone works together to do better. CRITICISM doesn't make your day better,it doesn't make or experience any better but ideas, time and good people will help each other achieve. Cracker Barrel is part of my family now and like anyone else you want the best for your family and the guest we help care for and try to please everyone like there part of our family and too some that is a lot more the someone forgetting there box or to bring butter
Went for the date one of the best place for the dinner my girlfriend like the service and actually she impress at this place so for my it was loved place. And the quality of the crackerbarrel is like cooking at home
It took almost 2 hours for us to get seated. That wasn't the problem is what we got for dinner one small piece of Turkey a spoonful of mashed potatoes green beans$35 meal should have been $5 you should get what you pay for that was at Cookeville Tennessee
My sister and i visited Cracker Barrel for dinner. We sat down waited for 10 minutes for the waitress. When she finally came she went to the couple who came in 5 minutes after us and took their order first. The table behind us came in 15 minutes after us they received their food and the table that came in 5 minutes after us as well received their food before us. It was very uncomfortable feeling knowing that both table came after us received their food before us. Will not return.
I know I haven't been here for a while, but Don saw the new menu. I can't believe I always come here for the eggs in a basket a good omelette know how much on the menu new eggs in a basket it's just not a great menu. Don't think it'll be coming back soon.
They have delivery on their app but when you go to order they say no. I cant believe all the lies these business get away with. Stay away from there. Even a 100.00 order they did not care about nor that they were ruining someones christmas. Or even care that senior had nothing to eat. Even though that senior had several hundred dollars cash they did not care. Do not do business with a restaurant like that..
We had a very rude waitress. Dont be fooled by the stars on the apron. She had 4 and it was the worst service you could get. When you pay $80.00 you would think it would be better service. We had to ask for everything. When we asked for Jelly for 5 people she gave us 2. When we asked for straws they were thrown on table. Could never find her for drink refill but when someone got her she picked up drink and didnt say anything. She said "take the straw out". I didnt know you had to take the straw out. I never seen the manager walking around so I didnt get to tell him what the service was like.
My sister and I have been to Cracker Barrel and on two separate occasions. Back to back. Both times we ordered the Oldtimers breakfast. Both times the biscuits were not done on the inside. And both times the gravy had broken and was like soup. We love going there on San Antonio N.E. Albuquerque,N.M. Cracker Barrel location, because their coffee is great! We love the staff. They are so happy and friendly.
Answer: Because you trying to be "chic" or shift your consumer base to a younger clientele. Cracker Barrel now appeals to an older customer base. To be successful in decades to come, CB needs younger customers who may not be OK with gravy and biscuits. That's why you will see vegetable sausage, kale salads, etc. at Cracker Barrel. The strategy might work if you had 50 years to make the transition. But your present here-and-now customer (older folks) probably won't hang in with it after you remove their favorites (country ham, fried chicken, apple pie, "and all the butter, Jam and biscuits you care to eat."
Answer: Golden corral, Grandpa's, IHOP. They're at least the customers are paid partial attention& needs meet without a production.
Answer: Have eaten there many times before and in the past have really enjoyed the food.
