On my first avail for to months for there tutor the service was really good, fast respond, correct and accurate answer. But after I avail for the annual services worth $ 100 plus, they have a very poor services! No respond for any question if they respond it take 5hrs to 7hrs and the answer is wrong! It looks like they just stole money!. Don't trust in this course hero!

They are not tutor friendly. Even if you're working your $#*! off for them, they will just suspend your account of the blue once they notice you're earning more money. THIS PLATFORM IS EFFING SCAM, definitely do not recommend this. If I can give them 0, I'll do so!

With the few exceptions of people with payment issues in the complaints part of these reviews the rest seem to be people complaining because they couldn't cheat their way through a test. This site isn't here for you to cheat. It has an abundance of documents that you can use as a study guide for your exams, though. Maybe if you learned how to use the site for what it is you'd have a better experience. Ijs.

I had course hero once and they over charged me numerous times after I had cancelled my subscription. I decided to try and reopen an account for some additional help with a class I'm not quite understanding. They charged me twice and when I brought it to their attention- someone emailed me saying they looked it over and they're not giving me a refund. I ended up calling the help line and what happened was that they had opened my old account back up with the email that doesn't exist anymore and charged me for both emails. They said I "gave no cancellation notice" even though last time I cancelled, I had to have help cancelling it so I know it was cancelled. I just got off the phone and the person cancelled my current account and just told me to "repurchase" course hero again with the same email and said "this is why we don't allow multiple emails to be used because it causes confusion"...terrible.

Course Hero is a complete scam. If you are a tutor, stay away from them. I worked day and night continuously for 15 days and on the day of payout they suspended my account citing some random violations. I lost 1300 dollar ( approx 1 lakh rupees). Simply STAY AWAY FROM COURSEHERO

Most tutors who applied and get hired will sooner or later get a violation for no valid reason resulting to account revocation. The support team will give you multiple warnings in a day, resulting to 2 weeks probation. If you get multiple violation (even if it is invalid) they will revoke your account. Sometimes they just automatically close your account even if you have money to withdraw. They will tell that your answers were incorrect even if the student rated it helpful (meaning, you provided correct answers). I was a tutor in this platform and I can attest that It is a total scam. All reviews here are true. Don't try and waste your time applying in this platform. It is a waste of effort and knowledge. Also, the base price for each question is $1.50 (too low) for a page long question. No way, other platforms pay better. The more you ask for a support to investigate, the more they give you a violation. The more you explain yourself, reply back to them, the more they give you warnings. People working in support are all unprofessional. Not even subject expert but giving internal reviews haha. If you upload your resources in this site, you can no longer delete it. They will take your notes, sample questions, exercises, sample exams as their own. They take credits for other peoples resources. That's how they make students sign-up to their platform. It is not a pro-tutor nor a pro-student platform. They are just milking on people's money. If there is a ZERO rating, I will rate this site 0 lol

They are frauds, I'm saying this because i want to tarnish their reputation for no reason but it is the reality. They come up with stupid reasons to shut your account down, won't provide you with evidence and oh did I forget to mention after they renew your subscription? Oh yeah you heard me right! I requested for proof that I had an infringement on my account but they didn't share. They refused to refund me said it's past 30days, my question was, why did they not wait to shut the account down after it expires. Their tutors are not qualified. Different occasions I used them and failed. Even Chegg is better than them. Customer service is very poor. Very disgraceful of a company that boosts or 100 success. Everyone I know deleted them aside me, I should have listened better. I thought they just didn't want to pay but now I see why people don't value them. Run far away from them especially using their tutors, or they will make you fail. I only unlock things I need to see concepts asides that, it was a waste of my money. Do not use. Do not use

Never go there. They steal your card information and charge you.
It is the worst website, all thieves

I joined Course Hero as an online tutor. After working for around 2 months, I answered more than 330 questions. Only 4 answers out of 330 answers were marked as unhelpful though answers provided according to me were correct. Course Hero has a policy of reviewing the unhelpful rated answers. So they rated 2 of my unhelpful answers and I recieved warning of submitting 'incomplete' and 'incorrect' answers. As I was confident with my answers, I raised ticket to re-check their quality review. Then I recieved a mail that my account has been revoked and I would not be able to further withdraw any payments for my written answers. I had around $305 in my account that were not paid to me (in my country this amount is enough to survive for 3 months). I lost my hard earned money and Course Hero is not even responding to my mails. On connecting with other tutors on social media I come to know Course Hero has a practice of revoking account of even good tutors after they have worked for 2-4 months and induct new ones.

On reading more about online tutoring, I come to know knot only the tutors but also students are scammed either by incorrect answers from tutors (that are inducted without any background checking) or by not receiving services they were expecting. I feel cheated having worked hard on the platform and not getting paid from them.

Whoever is reading my review, I have 2 points to make with my experience.
1. For tutors: Do not rely solely on tutoring platforms like Course Hero for your complete income as I was cheated for not getting paid.
2. For students: Do not build your concepts based on non interactive tutoring where you do not know about credibility of the tutor.

I had to get some help with a coursework as my time is quite limited with work, family, home commitments. So tried getting some material to compensate for the time and paid these guys to help me. All they did was to give me a bundle of corrupted PDFs and running away with my hard earned money. I'm writing this to warn everyone of my experience. Please don't waste your time and hard-earned cash. Shop elsewhere and save your energy and distress.

I can not get a refund even though the resource quality is poor. I downloaded a sample exam and was checking my answers after completing it only to see that 1) multiple answers are inccorect and 2) some questions don't have answers. There was no official answer key included, instead it was random "verified" tutors who answered individual questions, and for some of the questions the answer wasn't even relevant (ex: a simple multiple choice question had a bunch of code as the "answer).

Because I downloaded the resource I am not allowed a refund by their TOS which is unfair when the resource quality is poor. DO NOT use them as there is no way to be sure that the resources and their answers will line up.

You cannot withdraw your earnings at all. No point using this site regardless whether you are a student (you can practically see nothing in the preview documents) and you can't tutor here for more than a month before being kicked out of the system. This site steals free documents, wastes your time and effort and steals all your personal details (including payment details). DO NOT COME HERE

Course hero is taking me $22 AUD a month out of my account and I have emailed them several times to help me cancel my membership but they claim I paid through iTunes which I don't even have a iTunes account! They seem also ignorant in not helping my find my subscription coz it's not a premier subscription. Cannot find subscription in settings, App Store or on the app and the app is not allowing me to delete my account either. The services itself even when you have paid for a subscription seem very limited as they basically want you to get premier to charge you even more! Since course hero won't help me I'm going to have to cancel my credit card. Would not reccomend course hero unless you want to be robbed of your money. I'm most annoyed I also tried weeks beforehand to cancel and they couldn't find my account yet I still got charged

I uploaded 10 files but they did not give me 5 unlock.they scam through this procedure.they ask then send more 10 files

They will not address you requests properly and will say nonsense reasons so that your request can be dismissed. They are also quick to find violations but will not respond when you are requesting for tutor support. This platform has the most biased and worst support team ever.

The site is not helpful and the company constantly, randomly charges my bank account even AFTER I canceled. They are stealing $24.95 a month.

They are damn scammers. They squeeze tutors blood. Close tutor account intentionally to grab his money. Foe on them. Bloody idiots, son of a $#*!, they are born from a whore.

1. I've uploaded several accounting questions to this site, and 90% of the time, the answers are wrong, either partially or completely. I've even caught people using an identical question but with different numbers to complete the question I submitted, which makes the answer 100% wrong.

2. My banking institution cancelled my credit card on my behalf due to a breach they were tipped off about, which I know was CourseHero, as they are the only questionable website that could have possibly caused this issue.

Coursehero will make you sign up using google, while promising free download of your file and will later take your credentials, while still promising a free download, still offering free content until you are completely trapped into paying. They say things they don't mean. Don't trust.

I have been working on coursehero for only 20 days and they deactivated my account before my first payment. They are just scammers who just want to take over tutors hard earned money. They are just deactivating account without giving proper reasoning they just share you a mail we detected unsual activity so we are deactivating your account.I highly suggest dont ever work for this company and for students they are charging too much still they give nothing to tutors so its better to move to geniune sites like chegg.
