Do not shop here. They do not answer the phone, they do not respond to email (well, they respond, but do not actually answering the question asked), they do not ship but claim they will... disaster. Ordered 3 items over a month ago, all of which appeared to be available, none of which have shipped, and when I ask them to either ship or refund they will do neither. BOO!
I don t have the product for long but it was a really great experience so far. Fast delivery, and the robot is very well made. Also very proud to buy such a good product from Canada, and the price is so competitive.
I ordered a KitchenAid professional blender as a house warming gift from their website saying in stock and ready to ship then no news from them like a month and when I contacted them they said the item is being delayed to the next month! If so you should have let me know or correct the information on your website not to trick your customers into buying in the Frist place! Which is still saying in stock on the website site! That's so cheap and lame. I am very disappointed and won't never buy from them and I will encourage my people to do so.
My Kitchen Grips and Rosle Colander came today, I love them. They arrived on time, and well packaged. Both items are very nice quality. I have been very happy with my purchases from the Cook Store. I purchased my Kitchen Grips in a small. I have small hands and they fit perfect. I cook a lot and they add more control over hot items. I can fit my hand into my Instant Pot to remove hot items. The Cookstore had them on for a great price over Mothers Day. Watch for a sale they are awesome.
Fake reviews on here galore, and strangely almost equal amounts of 1 and 5 stars - the only difference is that all of the 5 start reviews are posted on the same day (by the same slimey person operating the cookstore site lol). If you're dumb enough to buy from these scammers, you deserve to be separated from your money.
Now I am being given the run around about my refund. Waited close to a month to get the package and now have to wait 21 days to have charge credited.
Always the same person answering. Already filed a complaint with PayPal. Next the BBB. There is something very wrong here.
What a joke - escalated via Paypal. The Cookstore don't seem to care. Asked for a refund, they stated sorry item shipped. Now I will have to pay return fees as there is no contact delivery.

Fraud! I ordered a gift nov 27, it's Jan 11th and I have not received anything without ability to call, with their messaging service full? You've got to be kidding me!
It's crap. No way to contact them either so I'm going to contact my bank and do a fraud claim!
We ordered a warmer screen in 23 of July, paid full amount, and they told us we will receive it in 3 to 5 business days, we received it in September 10, they lied and we got loss because of delay.
Don't work with them and don't waste your times and money...
I bought the kitchen knives as a gift and am happy they arrived in time for the birthday. Yes, they took awhile to arrive, but I understand with COVID. The knife box looks in perfect condition. Can't ask for more than that. So, with the price of the gift itself and free delivery I would say, "great". Thank you!
Follow-up: My nephew opened his gift - everything was in order. Perfect condition. For me, terrific value... I saw the same knife set elsewhere for over $65 more than what I paid. No picture... but I really bought the Cuisinart and my nephew really is slicing and dicing!
Order process was clear and there was good communication about everything from start to finish. There was a supplier delay for one of the items I ordered and that was communicated quickly, with options etc. All very well done, and the items were all great.
I bought many many items from cookstore.ca and I am pleased with their fast delivery, as well their fair prices and some times their amazing specials. Their online customer service is amazing. For those who are hesitant, give it a try and you will see how good they are in service as well prices...
Disappointing experience - ordered pizza ovens for special occasion - and were meant to be in stock and delivered within a week. Its now over a month, no delivery, missed the special occasion and most of the good weather in the summer. And cancelling order to get a refund is a nightmare. Misleading website and promises.
Love my gorgeous new Staub double handled 13.25 qrt fry pan. Although I didn't receive before Christmas, I really appreciated how customer service kept me posted. Impressive! Great price and I would order again from this company. Thank you.
I bought a Lodge cast iron Dutch oven as a gift for my son, to encourage his interest in baking sourdough bread. Service was excellent, with frequent updates from the time my order was placed until it was delivered. I am happy to support a Canadian on-line business, and this was a great way for me (living in northern Ontario) to get a heavy, bulky item to a family member in Victoria, BC.
This is a first for me, everything usualy works out, but this company proves otherwise. Super slow shipping times for items that are supposedly in stock (well over a month) awful customer service. Plus I just receved an empty box from them, whatever mess up you could imagine will happen. Never agin with this micky mouse operation
Same experience as others. I still haven't received shipment notification for my Technivorm moccamaster after 2 weeks. Good prices, however the fact that I have to pay my mastercard bill before the item even ships makes for some very questionable business practice in this day and age of internet shopping.
I would highly recommend to get price matches from other online retailers as this company is not worth the time.
Very terrible experience. I spent $700 on the site buying pots in December. They were happy to take my money but I heard nothing for a month. When I requested a refund because I'm sketched out, it took them a full week to respond to my multiple inquires for a refund, and the email they sent was super passive aggressive with no apologies. I'm sure they are having issues with supply chain in covid but still be normal - don't charge customers until shipment, inform customers clearly of ETAs so they can make their decision, respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion. Is that too much to ask?
BTW I bought from Kitchensmart the same pots they arrived so quickly. I am still waiting for my refund from cook store. With I knew this earlier I would not have spent money on the site. I'm enver ever buying from Cookstore again. It's just a waste of time and money.
This company is just a major headache. I purchase a couple of things online with these guys using PayPal. After a week they still hadn't shipped them out. By the way the shipping cost more than both items put together. The customer service is non existent, literally! It does have a place to click "Contact Us", but when you do click on it, nothing happens. There is no other way to contact customer service if they have such a thing. There confirmation email that I received is "donotreply" email address. Also in order to "track" your order, the website makes you download some random third party program to your phone that I got a "spam" warning for.
Very shady company. I've had to file a claim with PayPal to get my money back. Not worth the time or effort. Use caution if you still insist on purchasing anything from them. My guess it's some Asian website that is not maintained.
I ordered (and paid for) something on Dec 2, and a week later still no email to notify me it had been shipped. So, I phoned customer service. After a long wait, I was politely told they were a bit backed up because of Black Friday and Cyber Monday and that my order would be shipped in the next 1-2 business days. It wasn't. An email sent to them a week ago asking about the status of my order has garnered no response, either. NOT a good customer experience. Will never order from them again, not worth the aggravation. I'd rather have the item I ordered, but at this point I'm just hoping I can get my money back. UPDATE - Dec 19th, tried Live Chat to see what was going on as there was never a response to my email. Was told they were waiting on a shipment from supplier and would send my item when it arrived. This means that they are selling things they don't even have in stock - this seems very shady to me, unethical.

The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
