This store is a scam. I bought a coffee maker for over 800.00 over a month ago. Didnt say when they took my money that it was on back order. Then I got an email saying it would be 2-9 days and then for boxing day I see they still have it listed on their site as in stock! I have been emailing for three days for a refund and no one is answering. DO NOT BUY!
I placed an order on September 13th 2022 and I am still waiting for it to arrive. They took the money out from my account already and they are now not even returning my requests for a refund. They are very shady - do not buy from them!
I placed a substantial online order on April 1 2020. I received a shipping notice that the goods would be deluded on April 16. When this did not happen I tried to track the shipment, but there was no tracking available. I reached out to Cook Store several times to no avail and they don't answer their phone. Ifinallt managed to email the shipper. They confirmed my goods had been damaged in transit. I asked Cook Store for a refund. They never committed and said they would get back to me. Two mo this later and I have no goods and no refund. I finally handed this over to Visa. I have yet to receive any money back, but hoping Visa will come through for me. I would advise that you never deal with these awful people.
The prices at The Cookstore are very competitive (I always check). Communications are good if there is going to be any delay in the order. And I particularly like your website: it is really attractive and easy to navigate. Best of all it's fast and doesn't cease up even if I've looked at upteen items. I never resent finding one of your emails in my inbox!
I bought actually trying to buy Fissler Cookware set and Pressure Cooker from this site and paid $860.00 Saw their rating was 3.33 but still didn't care and said to myself Canadian company went for it. November 26,2020 items were in stock minutes after I bought was out of stock few weeks later they said items will be delivered around Xmas or beginning of January. In January they changed dates and I called no answer emailed them got an answer if I wanted refund or substitute with another items. I emailed again for refund got an answer it's backordered, shipping now bla bla bla. I called credit card company to dispute and got my money back in 2 weeks. Items I wanted is in stock now. Maybe they take people's money and use it in Stock Market who knows.
Service second to none. I followed up on my order and before I knew it, it was on my front porch. Customer support is outstanding and they're not afraid to talk with you, one on one. That's almost unheard of these days. Thanks, CookStore.
Great deal, much better sale than Walmart or amazon offering. Love my new mixer by bodum. Compared online through a few sites and found cookstore.ca had much better sales than the usual big online stores.
The Customer Service Team is absolutely Excellent - in this day and time when service stops after money is taken I cannot say this is the case with the cook store.
When issues were discovered with their carrier they implemented the appropriate corrective action to remedy the situation.
Hats off specifically to Anna and her colleague who presented additional remedies and options.

Ordered an in-stock item almost a month ago. Did not receive any item and their customer service is terrible. The phone number on the website is no longer in service and they will not respond to my emails
Order arrived a bit late but made it just in time for the holiday gift. Unfortunately the package was not handled properly in shipping and was not packaging was not well done. The surprise for the gift receiver was the fact the ceramic was broken. I emailed next day with pictures and details but they keep making excuses the pictures cannot be seen. Last email was 2 weeks ago and no response. Not sure what is going. Am I being scammed?
I placed an order for Fondue equipment in September and told it would be 2-3 weeks. I can not speak to anyone except for Sales - and they know nothing about accounts. My business is currently on hold until I get this equipment. I would not order from this company.
I received my Emile Henry Chicken Roaster and I love it! It arrived well packaged as the Cook Store always takes care of shipping fragile items. I ordered an item and was promised a follow up email with a shipping date and tracking number. I waited a week and no email. I contacted customer service and did not receive a satisfactory answer. I requested a refund to my credit card and they did not reply. Something very, very wrong with the Cookstore! Making matters worse is you cannot contact them by telephone.
Ordering was straightforward, they had the item I wanted in stock and liked that they disclosed it was in stock and would be shipped out ASAP. Other sites were going to take my order and probably delay the shipping. I also got an update of the shipment and eta.
Once the order was placed, I quickly received an email confirmation of purchase. Then an email saying it was shipped and an estimated date of arrival. It arrived at my doorstep the day it was estimated. The packaging was very thorough, and protective of my fragile clay bread baker. It arrived perfectly! AND it was on sale! Here's to many beautiful loaves of bread! Thank you!
We first ordered back in March knowing our item was b/o. Due to the Covid and delays, we were later offered another system for the same price. They were in touch constantly and we never once felt like we were in the dark not knowing when we would receive the system. We purchased the Cuisinart Brew and Grind 10 cup coffeemaker and within a week it was delivered once the exchange re back order was made. I highly recommend not only the coffeemaker as it is an awesome purchase but also the company. So happy to be able to buy Canadian we well!
If you want don't want to get ripped off, never see your order or get your money back i suggest you never order anything from this store.
I can't even get a straight answer with customer service they keep sending me the same message back like it'd automated.
I spent over a 1000. 00 and never got my order and I've been spending months trying to get a refund and they won't refund me or even look into the situation.

Terrible. Awful service and they don't stock items they say are in stock. Take your money elsewhere. Notice all of their fake reviews all posted on January 28th. Here's an idea you geniuses, try spreading out your fake reviews so at least they are slightly believable. Unreal. STAY AWAY

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
