My brother had a litter of puppies 12 hours away in Virginia. Had no idea how I was gonna get this dog. I found citizen shipper in a Google search and filled out my info and what I need to transport from Virginia to Massachusetts. I got tons of bids from dog transporters with detailed profiles and reviews. They picked my pup up Friday night and had it to me Saturday morning with pics and communication the entire way. No idea this would be so easy. Plus I got my dog shipped for what it would of cost me to drive there and back and I never left my house!

Website connected me to a furniture mover and pet transporter. Both had great reviews and deserved the praise. I doubt I would have found the referrals otherwise. My only complaint is that the referral fee charged by Citizenshipper is not advertised and was steep.

OMG I never knew this type of service existed, and thank God it does. This is a great way to find reputable transport nannies. I am very pleased with the referrals provided. It was really easy to review each of the quotes, and I was able to look at reviews for each shipper right on the website. I narrowed down to a few options based on these reviews and the cost estimates, then chatted with each of the final options until I found someone that felt like a good fit for us. The shipper we worked with was fantastic. Very responsive, excellent planning, and she handled all three dogs, the cat and the bearded dragon and got them safely to the destination ahead of schedule.

The only thing that I would say to keep in mind as a consumer looking for pet transport, would be that CS has their own fee separate from what your bid is. That and not always is the lowest bid the best. Sometimes, it's okay, just read the reviews of the shipper. I know as a legitimate Pet Transport small business owner, it makes ALL the difference in the world how these precious animals are treated during their journey.

I had never used a service like this, so I was naturally nervous. The transporters responded very quickly to my request for a long-distance drive in a short time-frame with an incredibly reasonable quote. Lily was in touch with me the entire trip with updates. The kitten they were transporting needed to have medication during the trip and they were more than happy to accommodate his needs. I was anxious about meeting the cat, but not at all about his trip.

I received 20+ quotes within a couple days. It was easy to look at their reviews, and details on how many transports they had already done, what their quote was and any other requirements. It was easy to do a process of elimination and come up with 3 or 4 to research and engage further. Ultimately made a great choice and everything was terrific! Their fee was based on the quote amount which I thought was smart. Highly recommend.

This service made our family move so much less stressful! Flying our two dogs across the country alone was not an option, and traveling with two dogs and two children was far too stressful. CitizenShipper enabled us to find a trusted person to transport our pets with peace of mind and made our move that much easier. Terrible, read contract very carefully. Tried cancelling the shipment I booked within 24 hrs of making. The shipment was not scheduled till 8 days later. The reason I cancelled was the driver didn't have the proper insurance to transport a $40,000.00 boat. I only discovered this after I was able to talk with him on the phone which required my payment of $312.00 to Citizen shipper. Before Booking I tried to find all the term and conditions but was unable to find this particular piece. I even tried calling the company before booking but they don't accept phone calls, complete joke.

We had a great experience with this service, they provided numerous quotes which allowed me to interview and pick the right person to transfer the dogs to their new home. Would highly recommend, the service is quick, easy and our driver was amazing!
