I must admit I was reluctant at first to trust my pet with a total stranger, but Matt did an excellent job. He picked up my golden doodle in New Jersey and brought him to me in Florida healthy and happy with updates along the way. I highly recommend the driver and will be using this service again!
I hired "Pawsome" pet transport, The guy cancelled on day of pick up and I am still waiting on the rest of my refund.He gave me 350 back so far of 600 and says I have to wait a couple of weeks but his profile sates 5 to 7 business days.I had to scramble and get another company and they are wonderful.I will use them directly.In other words you pay 170 fee with citizenshipper and whatever goes wrong with you and the driver, then it's not citizenshipper fault.You put your trust into a stranger.I will never use them again.

Beware of this company! I hired two different female transporters, which was the worst experience. Emi pet transport and Roll A Way Pets transport are scammers. Wanted money up front before picking up or delivering my cat to me. Neither transporter communicated efficiently. Date changes, lies, totally inconvenienced myself and family. This company has no customer service, except for email. I wouldn't trust anyone working for this company to transport my pet. A month lady I am now having to transport on my own! Complete scam and waste of time!

This company is a scam! They have a $170 booking fee, on top of the drivers fee. Plus, after paying the drivers fee the driver cancels. Keeps the money. The company doesn't care if you leave a bad review for the driver. They will delete the bad reviews. That's why the drivers have good reviews only. They don't have a phone number to call. Only email. That's a red flag already. Don't fall for this company. Trust me, save yourself the time and money.

It happened a while back, I kept trying to get the drivers/company to make it right B4 writing this review. Hired to transport a Mack (dog) from Ohio to Wisconsin. Ashley and her sister Marrian contracted the transport. Said they have been doing this for 8+ years. Venmo the $50 deposit to Ashley and Mack was on his way. Asked if they provide communication or GPS locations along the way, she said FaceTime and videos. Ashley lives in Oak Harbor Ohio, very close to the pick up point. 1 hour into the trip I get this message: "Hello, we have a bit of an emergency, and I have a question. Our drive shaft on our van broke as we were driving down the road and I don't have all of the money to fix the part. We are 4 hours away". "So I'm requesting you the send the rest of the money". I said I wasn't comfortable doing that and asked about this being a company vehicle or if her sister Marriann could help. Ashley said if she didn't get the money the transport will stop. I had already paid for Mack so I sent another $50 so they could get it fixed. I asked for location but that's when they went silent! Tried several times the rest of the day, not knowing about Mack or the transport. Next morning at 6am continued trying to get a response from Ashley or Marriann but nothing. At 7am I was asking for a refund because she apparently stopped the transport (without acknowledgement) and still had Mack. Panic set in. I contacted the previous owner of Mack and they dropped him back at her house. I jumped in the car and drove the 6 hours to Ohio to get Mack. Neither Ashley or Marriann ever responded to my constant communication about this situation. Citizen Shipper refused to get involved because they said I contracted with the shipper not them. Apparently they don't screen there drivers! I know this was a long review but wanted to get the message out about Ashley, Marriann, and the company itself Citizen Shipper.

This company lost my dog and kept him in his own crap for over 5 days. Driver lost my dog. Will never get him back. Company is not and will not take responsibility or help. Driver left saying 'not liable, not my issue' after losing my rescue.
I need to update my review on Chloe. She brought my 8 wk old Maltese puppy, Bentley, from Houston to Myrtle Beach, SC.
Not only did Chloe take extra precautions regarding his health because he was so young. She also worked on me in the price. I was previously scammed by an unscrupulous (supposedly) breeder who not only took all of my money and didn't deliver the puppy and they also stole my identity. She worked with me on my budget. Not only was she in Houston for another transport, she made sure she picked him up the same day that I booked her. She treated him like he was also her own furkid. She drove straight through dealing with some pretty bad weather. She stayed in touch with me during the whole transport, arrived when promised. Chloe put me and my friend that bought him for me at ease. My friend said, she's an Angel. I didn't worry one bit and neither did my friend. After being scammed out of close to $2000. I would normally be leery of anyone who promised me the Moon but stole from me. I did not have one single doubt about her. There are not enough good things I can say about Chloe!

A very good platform to transport your pet. One thing to aware is their fee plan is quite non-transparent. I just booked a transport of my pet for $300 for the driver and then I found the fee for CitizenShipper was $105.
I think the amount (30% fee) is pretty high but the worse part is that you would not know the $105 fee was NOT a down payment for the driver (very murky explanation unless you scrutinize the fine prints). They really need to be more transparent for their fee schedule. Almost a scam was what I felt.
As a comparison a similar platform UShip has a service charge of only $25 for a ~$300 job. And they present the service fee very clearly, unlike this CitizenShipper!
In conclusion, for your next pet transport, use UShip not CitizenShipper, given $325 (UShip) vs. $405 (CitizenShipper).
Paid Citizenship then chose broker State To State. No driver. Excuses No Contact 5 business days. Offering to refund in credit coupons. Glad it wasn't a pet to ship

Because of website issue or user error. I did not see a $150 extra fee on top of the transport. Immediately contacted the company and asked for a refund. 3 days later finally someone emailed me and told me to bad. The dog is aggressive and now we can't ship. They will not refund the booking fee even though I stopped and emailed immediately after finding out what happened. Instead of helping a rescue they think it's ok to charge something that wasn't meant to be.

He deleted his stuff on there but "J CHRISTOPHER TRANSPORT" scammed me out of 420$ and wanted more and refused to return my money saying he needed car repairs. I almost had to give up my dog since it was so last minute and the whole reason, I needed citizen shipper was because I was moving and could take my dog on the plain with me. Our convo on the site got deleted after he got rid of his account but i have text messages. He sent me a pic of his driver's license and fan but for all i know those were fake.

I love working with Citizenshipper! I meet people from all over and get the chance to deliver their new and sometimes already well- loved animals to them. The only thing that I would say to keep in mind as a consumer looking for pet transport, would be that CS has their own fee separate from what your bid is. That and not always is the lowest bid the best. Sometimes, it's okay, just read the reviews of the shipper. I know as a legitimate Pet Transport small business owner, it makes ALL the difference in the world how these precious animals are treated during their journey.

As the positive post generated here and elsewhere by their drivers these people are dishonest, after issuing a quote and you agree they ask for a deposit in good faith and once you pay here comes the surprises in my case an extra $137 plus they originally stated $479 and then changed it to $650 and then almost $800 and after cancelling within 2 minutes as I saw that this was a scam they kept the deposit and I can prove all of it which I will continue. You been warned! Also look at last photo and notice how they tried to change the quote for a third time. Scam
This company does not cover damages IT causes. Instead of waiting for the transporter to deliver her animals, or procuring another driver to complete her route, it fired her
MID ROUTE (with animals on board) before she could even get to my cat. Then CitizenShipper told me to go on their site and pay yet ANOTHER driver with no guaranty it won't cancel that driver as well. They do not cover ANY costs that IT causes. My cat is still awaiting pickup! I can't afford to play this game. Bad

I loved how easy CitizenShipper was to use. I was very apprehensive about trusting anyone with our family pets in the first place... let alone to travel halfway across our nation! I received several bids, I was able to visit with the people so I could feel comfortable with the arrangements and know what they offer. It was a wonderful experience! My Dad is in a care facility in Washington. His reunion with his old dog is a memory I will always cherish.

Great job and very professional. They connected me with a number of bidders and walked me through the process. The person they connected me with was also very professional. He kept me up to date with tracking, images, video, and messages.
They won't refund the $159.99, even though I contacted them right after booking because the shipper isn't available to pick up for the time I need. Even when the cancellation policy says they will refund if that's the case. But now I'm fighting tooth and nail to try to Get a refund. I have never in my life dealt with a company who don't even follow their own policies!

I made a reservation to transport my 2 dogs across the country from MA to CA for a total of $3000 + fees. I paid 50% + $250 finder's fees up front, but had to cancel about 2 weeks before the scheduled pick-up date because my family was no longer moving. CitizenShipper refused to refund me the $1500 driver's fee even though their website clearly states that there are no cancellation fees if they were notified at least 3 days before the scheduled pick-up date. Instead, they offered an 'e-credit' which is not helpful because I'm longer moving. I've already reported this to the BBB hoping they can resolve the matter. I do not recommend using this service because they promise one thing but do another.

Be very weary of this site. I booked a load, paid the deposit citizenship or charges a fee for their service and your protection. According to them the person never picked up the load kept the money, and that was the end. Citizen shipper said they cannot do anything for the lost money other than the fee that I paid to them they will give me a code when I used to rebook and I should not have to pay, of course the code didn't work and I had to pay again. Be very careful you are basically putting your trust in a stranger as the company will do absolutely nothing for you to protect you.
