Within minutes I had several options from shippers offering to deliver my cats to me. Even though it was over 2000 miles of traveling and I had a budget, I received many offers.
Had the best shipper! She was dependable. On time and communicated the whole way! And a great price for her to pick up an antique at an auction house and deliver in NH!
I signed up as a driver here. Here's some things anyone thinking of signing up as a driver shold know.
1. They will lock your account at anytime for any arbitrary reason. That doesn't bode well, at least wit me, when your have to pay a monthly subscription fee. As far as I'm concerned, that's a rip off... and I mean any reason. If you miss a call at anytime... if you don't miss a call at anytime. They will not contact or consult you first.
2. People you don't engage as a customer can leave a review on you. Any negative reviews can cost you potential revenue as well as your time and gas. That would be like someone leaving a review here about a site without ever visiting, or even seeing the site.
3. Most shippers there don't ship on time. Whenever they decide they are ready... you better be. If not... locked account. Bad review... you're worse off now because of things you can not control. So you should be be prepared to sit in your target area and wait well past the ship date... waste of time.
4. In business and life alike you'll have to deal with "personalities"... but on this site, if you are melanin endowed, you will have to deal with racism.
My advice... don't take it seriously at all. They are not customer service oriented. To me, it seems to be more for casual drivers who want to pay for a trip to a specific location. I hope this has been helpful for both driver and shipper alike.
Not only was my money STOLEN, which is obviously why they are so persistent on paying half/full up front, my dog is GONE! A HUGE part of mine and my son's life! And they're ONLY response is to give you a credit for part of the money stolen TO ONLY USE ON THEIR SCAM SITE. Are you f***king kidding me? I just lost my dog and my money and y'all want me to just... have a credit THAT I CAN NO LONGER USE.
People, if you love your pets, FIND ANOTHER WAY! I pray to GOD NOBODY EVER HAS TO FEEL THIS AND EXPERIENCE SUCH LOSS.

Found Citizenship shipper online. I was kind of Leary about it, but it all worked out. My driver took great care of my dog and communicated very well.

CitizenShipper is a great concept for a website and service. Connects those who need something transported, and those who transport. That's all it is. I'm sure (and hope!) there are other websites that facilitate these transactions, hipefully for less or no charge at all. It is absurd to pay as much of a service fee as they charge, on top of the fee for the actual service. None of the service fee goes to the driver, which is ridiculous because citizen shipper doesn't really do anything in the grand scheme of things. The website works well for getting the job done though, I guess. Should be better for the ludicrous amount they charge! I have been connected with two phenomenal companies (Lickity Split LLC, and All Pet Transport LLC) and one individual, who was mediocre at best. All of which, citizenshipper charged a service fee for doing not much of anything. Oh well, I'm happy with the end result. Thanks Lickity Split and Jonathan, y'all were truly amazing at what you do, and great people overall!

We was able to have our fur baby transported with the most ease. They were able to help us find a trustworthy person to transport our baby safely and sufficiently.
We just used CitizenShipper to ship our new puppy from FL to MA. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in locating a shipper to match to our route. We chose Terri T company to do our transporting and this is our review for how they did.
The pickup driver was friendly and knowledgeable about when our puppy would get to her new home and if I texted she was right back in communication with me and crates were clean and our puppy was delivered in a timely manner and still clean from pickup at our home. We will use them again for shipping and recommend to others also.
We had several bids from citizenship.com anywhere from 300 - 1400 for delivery to the same house and their was a booking fee just to use Citizenship.com to get to a driver for transport. I think it would of been nice to know upfront that their is a fee for booking and a different fee for the actual transporting of the puppy. I ended up having to ask all my questions to Terri T. To see how to go about trying to get my new puppy to her new owners and she answered everything I needed to know to get the job done. Definitely recommend her and her company. We do have a regular transporter company that we use but with the planes not transporting animals because of the heat he got backed up on the west coast and it was 2 weeks of no answers or communication before he said he couldn't do the job so I had to look for a new transporter and I will continue to use her as my full time shipper for puppies.

Secondly, in response to what you state above as to our locking of your account, this is actually inaccurate. In summary, our cancellation policy is as follows:

First Cancellation: Our customer support team will temporarily lock your account, and email you to confirm that you understand that we do have a cancellation policy. Once you confirm to us (by replying to customer support) that you have read and understand the policy, your account will be unlocked.
Second and all Subsequent Cancellations: Your account will be locked, and you will be responsible for the lost booking fee from the customer. Your account will be unlocked after we receive payment.

Whenever a driver cancels a shipment, as a matter of practice we lock their accounts, and make sure that drivers understand that future cancellations will lead to the driver being responsible for the lost booking deposit fee.
We never penalize a driver if the customer cancels the shipment on them, but in cases where the driver cancels we do need to take action.
All drivers on our site are held to the same standards and expected to uphold the terms and conditions of their membership to our site.
Thirdly, no one who has not contracted with you through our site is ever able to leave a review of a driver. Shippers who have not contracted with someone are not even given the option to leave feedback until they have accepted a driver and paid their booking deposit in order to secure that driver for their shipment.
Also, as an independent contractor using our site, it is your responsibility to determine the shippers exact pickup and delivery dates. Most shippers and drivers converse back and forth via messenger in order to nail down these details before entering into contract.
