In February, I booked a trip from St. Louis to Manila using a credit that was valid until March 18,2022. I received my itinerary via email. I go the airport to find out that my first of three flights did not exist. I was NEVER notified of an itinerary change. I call customer service from the airport. No customer service until 8AM EST.
I go home and call customer service. They tell me that my credit was expired even though I booked the trip before the credit expired. So, they booked a trip for me using a credit they say they couldn't use.
I move to the chat. The agent agreed to give me a discounted trip for $550. They send me an email and the payment portal link does not work. Two hours wasted.
I move back to the chat. The next agent has no record of the discounted trip and now they will not honor the $550 price. I will instead have to pay the full website price. They sent me the terms of using my credit and even there it doesn't say I have to actually fly before the credit expires. I looked at the airline's terms and it does not say that either.
So, I lost my $1,100 credit and a discounted trip because these people have no idea what they are doing. They booked me a trip using a credit which they said was expired, one of my flights vanished and they didn't tell me, and they refused to do ANYTHING to make up for it.
I fly all over the world. I will NEVER use CheapOair again, I don't care how much it costs me. It was the worst customer service experience of my life.

If I had the possibility to give 0 star I will. I bought a 1612$ ticket and trying to contact them for 3 days to cancel because I didn't had my visa, they responded to me the hour of my flight departure to tell me that my tickets is not refundable. They just wanna eat your money. And the customers service is too long for nothing concret. Very very poor agence.
I tried changing dates but the website took me to speak to an agent, called several times, when the call dropped no one would call back even after they promised they would. 5 people did not call back. I explained what I wanted via email to a lady called Celina, she was hopeless. They eventually directed me to Singapore airline to change my ticket. I paid a difference of $1200 after two weeks of countless calls. This is disturbing. They are horrible

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
